It was the same employee that will keep me from returning here. She kept moving my laundry bag and wheeled the cart I was using away from where I kept it every time I was there. It would have been different if I was gone for a long time but it was each time I walked away. I wasn't sure what the motive was behind this but she also just stared at me when I walked in or periodically. But never just said hello and never engaged. This I could overlook, but the last time I was there, she started mopping the floor right by the entrance and it was slippery walking through it. I normally can overlook a lot but it was the accumulation of these things that caused me to feel uncomfortable enough to ever consider going back. I am hoping that this is taken into consideration that when you hire someone, it would be most helpful if they were a people person and actually made those of us who are there patronizing some verbal exchange. Idk about anyone else, but I was uncomfortable each and every time I went there and it was not over just one thing. Overall, the place itself, is great. But I wouldn't t go back to feel this uncomfortable..

The only problem with this place is the atmosphere. Maury Povich is fairly blaring, and the jukebox randomly fires up loud music as well. That causes everybody else in the place to yell louder. People fight and bicker with each other. I was told, in the nicest possible way, by a 60-year-old lady that a white boy like me didn't belong in this place.

I've had a bridesmaid dress hemmed here, as well as several pants.. and blouses, etc all cleaned. My husband had a shirt with a bunch of food stains on it; we took it to a philly dry cleaner and they weren't able to remove them. As a last beacon of hope for the shirt, we took the shirt here and this place was able to REMOVE all the stains! The ladies are SUPER friendly and there's even a drive through for drop off and pick up. 1000% recommend.

This business serves the function of getting your clothes washed, but there is always an issue. My issue with the Ye Olde Washaus locations, including today, is the maintenance of their machines. Today I used 2 small machines and one is working fine. The other has considerably less water, which I'm actually not surprised to see. Disappointing, but I don't really come here much anymore, I guess I hoped that some things here would be better. It honestly gives the impression that the owner is ok with the low maintenance... & I can bet that the owner doesn't wash clothes here to know all of the operational issues. I am not trying to bash this business chain, I just feel like they could be a little better. I would recommend this business but, just be aware of the issues. This time I took a video of both machines but I'm not sure if it will post!

Ye Old Washaus is a Great Place! I don't care what the other review says, the guy doesn't know what…read morehe's doing, and he's to cheap to use 2 dryers. The girls there know what they're doing. They are courteous, professional, friendly and efficient. The store is kept clean and most machines functional. You have the option of dropping off your laundry and having it done for you, which is quite convenient if you can afford it. I go there to have my comforters done, which is only about $22 for a queen size comforter. Which is very reasonable comparatively. I highly recommend Ye Old Washaus! 100%
