Some of my in-laws picked up a very large order from this bakery to bring to a family reunion we had in the Martin area. The order consisted of a box of cookies and two boxes of cupcakes. I didn't accompany them to pick up the goodies so I can't speak to atmosphere or service, but I didn't hear any complaints from any of the family other than a touch of confusion around pick-up time, so that's good. I didn't try the cupcakes so they may have been excellent. I will say there was an impressive variety and they appeared beautifully decorated. I'm more of a cookie person, so that's what I had. There wound up being an overabundance of desserts at the function, so I got to sample all the flavors of cookies after having two there and taking two home to eat the next day. These are fairly small cookies, a little smaller than the palm of my hand, so it's easy to get a good sampling. My favorites were the peanut butter and the snickerdoodle. The snickerdoodle in particular had that pleasant chewiness that cream of tartar imparts in a good snickerdoodle. The oatmeal raisin cookie was just alright. I didn't like the chocolate chip cookie. To me, it tasted like the ratio of brown sugar was off -- it didn't have that pleasant, almost caramely taste most chocolate chip cookies have. All of the cookies had, to some extent, a problem with...let's say crumbliness. I like both chewy cookies and crispy/crunchy cookies, but I don't like cookies that fall apart as you eat them, and these definitely did. The peanut butter held up the best out of all of them, which is one reason why I think it's one of the better ones. Overall, this is a solid enough option for sweets and treats. They can certainly accommodate very large orders, which we appreciated for our gathering. read more

We had the cupcakes and they were so moist and delicious, so full of flavor I don't need an event to order some.

I stopped by while working in the region to grab a delicious cupcake. I ended up going back later in the day to buy fudge to take to family. I'm back this week, and I plan to get some more goodies for poker night. The prices are reasonable, which is really something to talk about. The food was good, the facility was clean, and the owner was very nice. I'd recommend it for your next sweet fix. read more

Cute little place across from the courthouse. Very artsy and creative on the inside. They have multiple themed rooms great for parties and events (bridal room, flower shop room, kid table, and the community table). They have a guest book. Please sign it and state where you're from. Their macarons are perfection - airy and crunchy. The peanut butter cookies are made with M&M's yummy. I'm a vegetarian and when I learned about the veggie soup, I thought I wanted to try it. The only thing is when it came out, it had meat in it - not so veggie. They made me a grilled cheese instead and filled plate with grapes and veggies with a side of ranch dipping sauce. Next time I'm going to ask for two kinds of cheese! The bread they make in house and it's spongey, gooey and so fresh. It was so good I wanted to buy a loaf. I love these woman like they are family. The owner has reached out to me on a personal level on things we share and offered a mentor type relationship towards my daughter since we started buying from them..such a bond has grown with them..they are so creative and patient with our family even when we cant figure out what we want..the talent they have is awe-inspiring and truly we love them..we couldnt try another bakery ever. And the cookies and cakes are just so amazing you can never just have one serving of anything..and they made my 37th birthday the best it could of been. What an awesome place! Went here to celebrate my granddaughters birthday. Amazing customer service. Awesome personalized attention. My granddaughter and her friends had a great time learning about the bakery and then were shown how to decorate a cake. Fun watching five young kids decorating their own little cakes. I visited this place yesterday for the first time and was excited to see what they had, I bought cookies, cupcakes and a couple of their individual sized cheesecakes. I asked how fresh everything was, they assured me everything was baked fresh that day. I was heavily disappointed. The cookies were mushy and undercooked, the cupcakes were very old, dry and stale and the cheesecakes had mold on them. I ended up throwing everything away. When I tried to post a comment on their Facebook page, they immediately took it down and blocked me, apparently that is how they have such good reviews. I will not be visiting them again. read more

This quaint little start-up bakery was open and inviting the day our group decided to go in and eat. Immediately, two servers greeted my party at the door and made treat recommendations. Mostly, it seemed Tiny Baker offers petit fours of a variety of flavors to patrons. Sure, there are cookies, Carmel cinnamon rolls, muffins, and cupcake selections, but I mainly saw petit fours. Within my dining group, we ate a blueberry muffin (try it warmed up), a St. Patrick's Day cupcake, a Celebration petit four (birthday cake flavor), and a red velvet cupcake. My blueberry muffin was dense and tasty with a good amount of blueberries and subtly sweet crisscross icing. The Celebration petit four was said to be sufficiently sweet and the cake portion not too dry. The St. Patrick's Day cupcake was tasty and sweet too. However, my friend did say the red velvet cupcake was dry and tasted stale. I had a bite and have to agree. Either it was over cooked to the point of being dry...or it was a couple days too old. This little bakery is amazing. It's always so clean. It smells fresh. The counters are uncluttered. Even the bakery cases were smudge free and fully stocked. When I walked in, the staff was so sweet and fun and inviting. They have wonderful people skills, and despite my almost crippling social anxiety, I felt at ease and welcome there. The cakes and cookies there are all so cute, and very tasty. I had a snickerdoodle cookie. It. Was. Perfect. And Im pretty picky with them. I also had a chocolate chip cookie, that was beyond delicious. I also got 2 petites fours. Mocha flavored. My boyfriend ate one, and promptly ate the other because he couldn't help himself. Hahaha. As far as what they offer business wise, I believe they will service events of all kinds. They work with you through all you need, and offer catalogs of past works and ideas. This review is mainly about the service I received. I don't live in Union City,TN nor was I aware of this new bakery. I was informed that it was new in town and I took a chance. I called from out of town and needed to send an appreciation goodie to fellow workers at an oncology practice. I told the nice lady who helped me over the phone what I wanted to relay and I left the choices and imagination up to her. I realized I had left my purse in my car when she asked for my credit card number. She politely allowed me to call her back once I retrieved it. In the amount of time that it took me to call her back, she informed me that the "Tiny Baker" also wanted to express their appreciation for the oncology team who had invested in so many lives of their community and she added extra sweets to the box as their contribution.
