Cute little place across from the courthouse. Very artsy and creative on the inside. They have multiple themed rooms great for parties and events (bridal room, flower shop room, kid table, and the community table). They have a guest book. Please sign it and state where you're from. Their macarons are perfection - airy and crunchy. The peanut butter cookies are made with M&M's yummy. I'm a vegetarian and when I learned about the veggie soup, I thought I wanted to try it. The only thing is when it came out, it had meat in it - not so veggie. They made me a grilled cheese instead and filled plate with grapes and veggies with a side of ranch dipping sauce. Next time I'm going to ask for two kinds of cheese! The bread they make in house and it's spongey, gooey and so fresh. It was so good I wanted to buy a loaf. It's one of the best breads I've ever had!!

For my 37th they even added a small j into the seal on the envelope cookies as a special detail..such care and love is shown in each one

I love these woman like they are family. The owner has reached out to me on a personal level on things we share and offered a mentor type relationship towards my daughter since we started buying from them..such a bond has grown with them..they are so creative and patient with our family even when we cant figure out what we want..the talent they have is awe-inspiring and truly we love them..we couldnt try another bakery ever. And the cookies and cakes are just so amazing you can never just have one serving of anything..and they made my 37th birthday the best it could of been. Simple and sweet and they always welcome me in there with open arms!

What an awesome place! Went here to celebrate my granddaughters birthday. Amazing customer service. Awesome personalized attention. My granddaughter and her friends had a great time learning about the bakery and then were shown how to decorate a cake. Fun watching five young kids decorating their own little cakes. Then I just had to sample some of the yummies! Thank you to this awesome family run business!

We had the cupcakes and they were so moist and delicious, so full of flavor I don't need an event to order some.

There was hair in my cake and the owner did not offer me a refund or remake! I wouldn't recommend feeding this to your dogs!

Blake's at Southern Milling - Eggs Benedict with smoked turkey and bacon.

Blake's at Southern Milling

We came in peak lunch time on a Saturday and found a spot at the bar. The staff is warm and…read morewelcoming; very large space inside. We couldn't decide on food so we opted to split the two "sampling" options and were not disappointed. The stars were the cheese curds, pretzel bites, turkey and rib - wow! It would be hard to come back and not get the same thing.

The absolute best BBQ that you will find anywhere near here! It's specifically also the best…read morebrisket that I have found outside the beautiful state of Texas! Everything else I had stacks up too! There are four styles of American BBQ. I would say they fall into these categories. Carolina's, Memphis, Texas, Kansas City. If there are others in your opinion, I don't care. That's all I believe in! My favorite by far is Texas. I love a good slathered in only salt and pepper, fatty side sliced, smoked for the perfect time, juicy brisket. My boy Blake has gotten it right! The setting is perfect, almost like the old mill was built for a different purpose that no one knew yet, so long ago. The decor, infused with days of the old, new interior additions, and the pictures of all of the pitmasters that have inspired him is so well done. We planned a drive from Memphis to Kentucky and went a specific route around having lunch here. I have been trying to get a visit since he was in the old trailer down the road. My only visit to Martin before, he was closed. Our server was like Southern Sweet Tea. Just dripping with sugary sweet goodness. She was a joy in my life for this great food moment! I should probably get to the food now I guess... I was here for the sampler platter. I knew that back in 2021! I didn't even need a menu. My kid is strange and got French Toast Sticks off of the Brunch Menu. I will say they looked great and came with a bad ass line up of dunking condiments. She ate almost all of it. She did also eat all of my sausage and Mac & Cheese too. C got the smoked chicken with Alabama White Sauce, added a sausage link, and had Brussel sprouts and deviled eggs with it. She fell in love with the white sauce at Big Bob Gibsons and seeks it out now. She loved it! She hates my BBQ quests most of the time but she even said we gotta come back here!! Win!! I got the sampler and loved all of it. ALL OF IT! Every bite was better than the last. It was all that I had hoped that it would be! It was like Texas, meets Memphis, and nothing could be better in my opinion. I loved his sauces, I loved his sides, I loved everything about this place! The only possible way that it could be better was if it were free. I cannot wait to return! '25 - 67/111

Lots of great favorites including meatloaf, hamburger steak, wings, fried chicken gizzards and livers, homemade desserts, including cobblers and banana pudding, etc, etc, with all the homemade sides and vegetables that you can imagine. And then there are the "throwed rolls." Hot with butter, honey, gravy, sorghum molasses, and more. Great service and down home country ambiance to spare. Don't go expecting fancy, but I guarantee you won't leave hungry.

The staff were friendly as usual and our server was really good and the place is clean as usual! The salmon patties were really good, I'd order them again. The food, overall, seems to be not well mixed with salt. My husband's chicken and dumplings had an inedible layer of just pure salt. He mixed everything up and it was better but the shock of a mouthful of salt lingered for the rest of the meal. The fried potatoes pass around had the same issue. This is still very much so a tourist destination and a once in a blue moon trip for us when we find ourselves in the area. The allure of the "throwed rolls" and pass arounds is enough to keep this place an option for us, especially since we're learning what not to order.
