I brought my care in, called back to check on the status only to find out they werent able to get to it... I asked if they were going to be able to get to it that day and was told no... He suggested I bring my car back the next day which i replied that i didnt live in the area and wouldn't be able to and was told Id could bring it back in two weeks from the date i was there‍... Arrived at the shop to collect my car (BMW 328i) and was given a weak 'Sorry for the inconvenience' as i was walking out the door... Brought car back today... Still didnt have the grade of tint I wanted and basically had to go with the 35‍. I left the shop, but before i left, asked what time would my car be finished and was told 2:30. I went and grabbed some lunch. Arrived back at the shop, car was sitting out front... But where was the tint???? Walked inside and was told that allegedly they installed the tint, but had trouble with my back window(s) and how the windows automatically go down a quater of an inch when the doors open and scrunching up the tint so they took all the tint off and gave me a refund... Absolutely no customer service, these guys are clueless when it comes to: 1. Contacting customers to confirm appointment. 2. Contacting customers to inform them of unforeseen/ unavoidable delays. 3. Contacting customers to inform them of difficulties surrounding the service they are providing. 4. Thinking creatively and outside of the box to provide the service they agreed to. After leaving, i looked up the issue they said they were having and found a consistent resolution used by others to solve the problem in well under 15min. This whole experience annoyed me more than people who dont adhere to the 6 ft distancing rule while standing in a checkout line... Meaning... Avoid them like COVID... Absolute waste of my gas, travel and more importantly time!

We took our SUV to CarToyz because the hood and roof had become dull after of going through so many car washes using brushes and harsh detergents combined with UV. Our vehicle was returned in worse shape than when we brought it in! When we dropped off our SUV, the hood was dull had minor scratches, but not it was not excessively scratched, color was consistently green, but dull. What Distinctive CarToyz returned to us was excessive scratch marks carved in the front hood and the green color removed/gone (see the photos). They also managed to remove the paint finish around the ignition switch. The interior of the car smelled like they had spilled an entire bottle of Windex inside. Clearly, the job was not in the wheelhouse. To add insult to injury they removed the car dealership decal on the back and put on their own Distinctive CarToyz business frame (see photo) around the back license plate. Blatantly corrupt to have people think we purchased our Tahoe from them and not from a reputable dealership. They are any but reputable. We took our SUV to our car dealer and for only a couple hundred dollars more than what CarToyz charged us ($1,500), Bennett Chevrolet made our SUV look brand new!

This is a summary of the saga with Tilton auto Body on Fire Road.dated 2 april 2026. Upon careful…read morescrutiny of the overspray that was removed by my Detailer . It was noticed that the door alignment was off due to the passenger door had a new skin put on it to correct the body damage as a result of the incident. Chris the owner had his mechanic take the car in an attempt to rectify the situation. 10 minutes later the car was returned with an adjustment being made after a week it was noticed that there was possible movement . A call to chris led to an appointment being made 2 weeks hence at 11:00 am where the situation would be addressed and a check for $100.00 would be issued to cover the additional detailers fee of 4 weeks prior at approx 10;00 am on the 16th of april a message was received that the mechanic who was suppose to readjust the door had called out sick. with that I showed up at 11;00 am to pick up the check that had taken approx 3 weeks to issue due to the accountant not being in attendance. I then told Chris the I would not be returning the vehicle for any adjustments or claims about their Lifetime warranty on repairs. My advice to who may read this. all you will get from Tilton Is someone with empty promises and excuses.I am 84 years old and have been around the Block. and in order to avoid any additional Stress I have decide to walk and to not deal with nefarious merchants who most likely had their employees post reviews.

Everyone in the office was great to deal with and the repair was completed on schedule. The repair was done beautifully and they handled all supplemental repairs with the insurance company. They also specialize in Lexus repairs which was an added bonus.
