    We came to the tint world for our Tesla to be tinted. Lets face it, Tesla is cool and all but with the huge beautiful windows which are almost transparent comes the issue of the Houston sun glaring down at you from all sides- also tinting saves energy as the sun will penetrate less and the car stays cooler longer. John Anhalt was pleasant to talk to and he got to the job right away since we came with a prior appointment. Josephs Thornton was the service guy. As a team they did a great job in getting us our tint get done. They have different packages and ranging from $200 to $500, the highest one comes with a lifetime warranty. Some Good-to- know info about tinting a Tesla: the windshield is where the maximum heat penetrates the car, many owners get this tinted. This is a special tint which is not visible like a tint from outside but you are protected and it is fully legal. This costs approximately $200 The roof can also be tinted for an additional cost of approximately $300 I do wish their coffee area was cleaner and had more options, maybe even a vending machine is a good idea. There is nothing in walkable distance and if u come from as far as we did in one car, then it gets a little inconvenient to wait for 2-3 hours with just water and coffee.

    Went to Tint World to get my Camry windows tinted. I did my homework and compared pricing and products. They had a good price for a quality product. They showed me the difference between​ the available tints. The Ceramic tint is the newest on the market​ and does more than just provide aesthetics​; it provides​​ a superior heat barrier. The service person answering the phone was an actual​ installer and had all of the answers to the questions I had. He had very good knowledge of the products he is selling. ​John, the owner came out and sat down with us and visited​ ​​us. This added touch was very special. They did a great job with a great product!

    My new car didn't have tint and I needed bad!! I called some other places with no response. I call tint world and they took me in on my schedule and did it in a timely fashion. Plus it looks amazing highly recommend this place if you're looking for a tent for your car.

    I previously reviewed Tint World and had positive things to say about their quality of work. It has become clear to me that as this shop's popularity grew, their customer service and workmanship has plummeted, especially for those of us with non-luxury cars. When looking to get front/rear dash cameras installed in both of my vehicles, Tint World immediately came to mind. The installation of the camera in my pickup truck had no issues and the work was of good quality. Complications arose with the install for my 2005 BMW 325CI. We knew a rear camera in a convertible would be tricky, but I created a design (I have a mechanical engineering/aerospace background) that would work and the shop/tech agreed they could do the work. John, the owner, even said he was going to put "his best guy" on the job. When I came to pick up the car, I noticed 2 major gouges on the rear headrest plastic trim. It was apparent the scratches were from (and aligned perfectly with) two zip ties that had been cut to a point and angled downwards. I assume as the tech moved the camera mount arm over the rear headrest trim, the zip ties gouged the plastic. When I asked John about the scratches he asked, "are you sure those scratches weren't there before?" I said I was positive. At this point, I was angry that my car's interior was damaged in such an unnecessary way (just cut zip ties flush). But I was mostly angry that as a repeat customer, John's first response was to question my knowledge of my car for something that was so clearly the fault of his tech. As I was leaving, John added that since the plastic was so old, that's probably why it scratched so easily. I told him to stop. It didn't matter how old the plastic was, it should not have been gouged in the first place. I got into my car to leave and noticed that my front right passenger speaker produced no sound. After a quick scan of the radio balance settings, I concluded it was likely a loose cable for that channel. When I walked back in and told John about the speaker, he protested that the tech did nothing with the audio system that would have caused it to fail. He asked again if I was sure it was working when I brought it in. Finally, he agreed to fix the speaker and I would stop by later to work out scheduling. When I stopped by to schedule, I provided feedback to John that it was poor customer care to immediately blame a customer and question their integrity when a mistake in work is found. I also said that since his "best guy" worked on my car, I no longer have trust in the quality of work he promised. I then gave him a piece of paper which stated my availability over the next two weeks. I told John that for this speaker repair, to make the whole thing right, he would call me by COB Monday with an appointment time within my availability. I would show up to that appointment, they'd immediately begin work on my car, and I would watch the tech complete the work. Once complete, I would leave and we would call ourselves good from there. John agreed and even offered that if I did find a replacement trim plastic he would buy it and replace it for free. I appreciated the offer and I left the shop feeling like maybe this was just a huge miss and not part of a greater trend. That was until Monday COB, when I failed to get a phone call. I had to call the shop Tuesday and prompt them to finally get an appointment time. On the day of my appointment, I found out the tech would be 30 minutes late. I asked why he was late to our scheduled appointment. John then said he did not realize the timing was such a big thing and that I had stated my availability for the day was "all day". I reminded him the availability sheet was for determining an appointment time, not that I intended to leave the car there all day. He said he didn't not remember that and that it was not what his interpretation was. He also added he didn't know how long he needed the car, maybe until 6 pm, maybe he needed parts, etc. After debating, I finally decided to walk away from the whole thing and pay another shop out of pocket to have my speaker fixed. I told John that I had given the shop plenty of opportunities to make things right and he didn't seem to care. I walked out with my car in the same condition I received it from Tint World: gouged trim, with no working front right speaker, and a trunk full of excuses. I can no longer recommend Tint World. After talking with multiple coworkers who have used their services (and many that I've recommended there myself), they agree that the quality of work for the average car has greatly decreased over the past year. I was made to feel like a "problem customer" when I pointed out major mistakes in their work with no real accountability from the owner - just the standard brushoff of "I'm sorry. How can I make it right?" with absolutely no genuine follow-through.

    Came in to get window tint, called ahead and was able to get car tinted without wait. Great service and they offer coffee or water while you wait.

    Excellent customer service, not pushy or sales like! The work itself was better than expected, and nice area to sit back and relax while waiting (if you choose that option). Would recommend and will use again.

Took it home and got it in the light and it was a terrible Job. Called him out on the Job and he said he had only waxed it, not compounded and would do a better job. Had it a week and 2 days to redo job. Picked it up today and he never did anything to it. He scratched the side of the boat and claims it was there. I have have the boat for 12 years and know every scratch on it. I have text where he said he would compound it and yet he didn't. When I took it back, this was the results. Be sure to call JJ @ TEXAS AUTO SHINE FOR A HALF ASS JOB AT FULL PRICE. Update: he did refund my money based off the terrible Job he did.

The weather turned cold and Terry was concerned that it wouldn't cure properly on the days they had planned to coat it. Because they had already prepped it with the paint correction process, he offered to keep the car in his shop until the weather got better. I picked it up today and it looks amazing!! I appreciated Terry's diligence in providing the best final product and customer experience for me. I would definitely recommend Texas Auto Shine for your auto wrapping, Paint Protection Film and Ceramic Coating needs.
