WARNING, LONG REVIEW::I came to Tint World with two 12" Kicker subs that were placed in 2014 by Royal Auto in Westport. Both speakers were blown and had some shotty wiring that would cause the speakers to short out randomly while I'd be driving. I'm a huge bass head and needed to get new subs ASAP. I discussed things with my older brother who has a lot of experience with electronics- he lives in Oklahoma, otherwise he'd probably be doing the work. Discussed prices and compared those to Crutchfield- as well as symptoms of my subs. Owner Austin evaluated my car (his findings matched my brother's suspicions) and got me right in! We decided to replace the 2 12" with Power Bass subs. Austin also discovered the particular subs I had before had been discontinued. I decided to also get my vehicle detailed; shampoo the inside. Per my request the former box my subs were in was able to be used (it was nice and compact) and the cost of a new box was subtracted from the total cost. The first appt I was unable to make because of illness. The second appt. on a Monday- I ran late to (night shift ICU nurse - got stuck at work) -- they're busy here at Tint World; esp Monday's. Picked up my car around 3pm... I'll admit I didn't look over the car thoroughly- mostly due to being tired. Later I noticed a couple spots that were missed. Austin asked me to return so the job could be done to my satisfaction. He also gave me a gift. Certificate. IT looks so GOOD! Tony did an awesome job and was receptive to my comments. Updating because I respect a shop manager who follows up and owns their work. He even offered to redo it to make things right. Guy at counter was friendly but shops work is sloppy. Paid for vehicle detail. Had to get home and fixes most of it. Were supposed to condition leather and they wiped down the front and left the rest amoral type splatter dots all over things inside and outside had water spots, part of tires and trim were wiped and part not, running boards not even touched and chrome grill not really even cleaned with stuck on bugs still and like they didn't touch it. It was late on a Friday, they were closing and I needed to get somewhere or would have made them fix it. Honestly should not have to even have as obvious as this stuff was. read more

I had my car in Tint World to replace my blown front speaker. Tint World is clean, conveniently located, and staffed professionally. I'm giving Tint World 4 Stars because the price quoted to me day of appointment was $50 higher than the week before, when I first stopped in for diagnosis. I went into the store yesterday to acquire a wire installation kit for my radio. The guy at the counter was extremely unhelpful and rude. He refused to listen to me, and my buddy when we told him that the part was not correct, he refused to give me a refund and was extremely rude to both of us. I'm going to be going back on Monday to return the parts. Hopefully I will not have to deal with him again. I can't believe they would let someone like that, run the front counter and be the face of their business. read more

Still don't have my sub box and it's been a year. No updates. Zero communication. Gave me a used non ported box but still paid for a new ported box. Told me it would be a few weeks. Now it's been a year. Terrible customer service. read more

I took my truck to tint world in Olathe and the job quality is pretty bad for being a tint shop. they also went through my truck wiring system when they weren't supposed to. They left my door panels loose and broke part of the plastic off. I wouldn't recommend anybody taking their vehicle to this place. It's the last time they'll be getting business from me and getting word out that they suck. read more

This is the go to shop for all my car needs. I've been coming here since they've opened and always had a good experience. The team has definitely grown since opening and they are really skilled in their field. What distinguishes a good store from a great one are those who work each and every day to grow in their field and challenge themselves. My previous car I had them install a remote start / audio system / tint. My new car I have a Drone remote start as well as tint. I will be coming very soon for a custom audio build. This place is amazing! I made the folly of going to another business to have my remote start put in . Sure enough, on the first big snow fall of the year, my remote start stopped working. It had only been 1 month since having it installed. On top of that, when I reached out to the business that I originally used, they were now permanently closed! I called Tint World regarding my situation and Brandon told me right away just to stop by and they'd take a look at it. That alone was awesome customer service. I popped in after work last night & right away I was wowed with the facility! Clean, professional and so friendly! Brandon asked if he could go take a look at my car. I waited inside and he walked back in shortly, saying "there you go, it's fixed". What?! Then refused to let me pay him!! He told me merry Christmas! They are awesome! My husband went into the business and talked face to face with an employee. He scheduled an interior detail and a body polish and was quoted $250. Dropped our car off the night before. Get a call the next day late afternoon to come pick vehicle up. We arrive to find my car sitting in the parking lot with all 4 doors sitting open. Peeked in at the interior. My entire interior looked like an oil bomb exploded. There was a thick yellow substance covering every surface. It was sprayed into my vents as well and there was layers of the oil pooling up inside the vents. The smell was overwhelming. The exterior still had dried bugs on the front, soap drips running down everywhere, the wheel wells were still dirty as well as the wheels plus all the surface scratches that were suppose to be polished off were still present. Had an employee come outside and look at the car. He brought a rag and wipes off the dirt, bugs and soap drips we pointed out. Asked about the scratches on the exterior. The guy tells us we only ordered an interior detail and an exterior wash. This after my husband scheduled the appointment face to face. They wanted $297. My husband was furious. They still stuck with the story that we didn't order a polish. They did drop our bill down a bit but still unsatisfactory. My husband had to then spend two hours wiping all the oil out of my car after it stained my clothing from the drive home. They could care less about our satisfaction and told us to "call the owner if you don't like it". Never ever will I recommend this place to anyone. Total shit show. read more

Came here on 11/4 to get an automatic car starter. I have a Honda HRV and I got a basic one with the plug in installation with a set of VIPER starter fobs. It took about 2 hours total and cost total was $380. I like having separate fobs for the starter and it works great! They told me upfront the price estimate and how long it should take. They also told me that with Honda's it may not let you unlock your car with your own key fob once the car is started remotely however mine did end up working so that was a bonus! But they have an extra package you can purchase for I believe around $50 to get a different key fob that will allow you to unlock it remotely while it's remotely started. I'm not sure on the range but it works well within my apartment complex which is what I need anyway because I park in a parking garage at work so I don't need to use it there. The next day I walked out my door and pushed the button only to realize I parked on the other side of the building and when I walked over my car was started so that was cool. All in all I highly recommend. I wasn't talked down to because I am a woman and they did a fantastic job. Definitely thinking of coming back here to get tint. read more

I will never go back to this place even for warranty work. I had them put film protection on my brand new BMW and it turned out terrible. The protection was cut about an inch before the edge of the bumper so half of each area was left unprotected and exposed. Parts of the bumper was completely left exposed. When I showed it to them they said that's how it's suppose to be. I submitted the customer feedback on the Tint World website and never got a response. I called and left several messages with the corporate customer and never received a response. Terrible work and terrible customer service. read more

Austin and the guys at the store were very helpful in fixing my sons wiring issue on his subwoofer. My son had attempted to do this himself and it did not go well for him. Despite being busy and the fact that we bought the speaker somewhere else, the guys were fair on the price of the labor and very respectful. I would use these guys again. read more

Had front windows tinted and windshield eyebrow tint installed as well as an interior detail on my 2016 Ram 1500 Rebel. Tint work was fine but overpriced. Interior detail was excruciatingly expensive and not done well at all. For that kind of money I expected some DETAILED cleaning but it was very superficial. Won't be using these guys again. read more

I took my car here to have a wireless camera installed.The man working the front desk said they would check and make sure the device it was working prior to installing it. He never said anything about the Bluetooth connection not working. He advised me that he took it back to make sure that it worked before installing it in the car. He said that it was installed, and working and might be a little fuzzy at times, but he never once said that those cameras DO NOT WORK and mentioned nothing about the camera going completely black! I came back the next day because the camera did not come on several times. When I arrived some tech looked at the car and came back in and he completely lied to me. He said he told me those cameras don't work. However, if he strongly believed wireless backup cameras DO NOT work then he should have never agreed to install it in my car! He just wanted the $80/hr! If he really thought those cameras did not work why would he agree to an installation? That right there is a scam artist!!! I will never recommend this place to anyone.
