Xan and her team just worked miracles on my 2010 Camaro 2SS! Had a horrible experience with a body shop here in San Mateo/Burlingame, and Xan was able to replicate the vinyl striping kit I've had on the car since I picked it from the dealership - 6 years ago. While we decided to leave them off in the end, she was willing, able, and prepared to install a FULL brand new set. She even offered to give me a ride home after I dropped off my car, and pick me up when it was ready! She explained everything ahead of time, provided prompt service, and I know she gave me a great price!! I can't give a higher recommendation (I would give 10 stars if I could!) for the customer service, the actual care and respect her and her fabulous team have shown with my vehicle, or the amazing attention-to-detail. She's the best and I know I can trust her. Thank you! read more

Tint World - My 2010 Chevy Camaro 2SS that Xan and her team worked miracles on. #sweetride - Auto Detailing Near Me - Gilroy, California

Brought my car in here today and the owner and service were great. I think it's pretty badass that it's female owned and I'll always support that. They did an amazing job at a great price. I was a walk in and they took care of me the same day. The front desk guy was kind and treated me like I had been a customer there for years. I'll DEFINITELY be back and recommend them to all of my friends and clients. read more

Fantastic, Quality work! Very helpful and informative. Went with the 5% in back and 18% in front with UV protection. Had no idea how much cooler my car would be. The tint really made a huge difference. At first I wanted tint for esthetic reasons now I think everyone should have it done. Also the guy at desk, super cool very nice and made time pass nicely. Tint World - My New girl!!! Looking so sweet after the amazing tint - Auto Detailing Near Me - Gilroy, California

The service was excellen! I was dropped off while they took my car and did the Tint job, which turned out very nice, then picked me up. Very convenient. Got the Premiere Package which has a lifetime guarantee. I look at this as an investment in my cars face value and most importantly my grandson will have a comfy and cool back seat to travel in during the summer months. Thank you! read more

The crew at Tint World in Gilroy did a fantastic job ceramic tinting my 2022 Mazda CX-5 on 06/14! It looks absolutely flawless. They're under new ownership now and are a vast improvement over the previous ownership. I had a great time working with them and highly recommend them! :-) read more

Tint World is absolutely great with excellent customer services. I came to this place for my Tesla Model 3 windows and roof tints. Yeah, I meant roof tint because the Model 3 came with humongous glass roof which heats up rear seats if in the sun for a long time. They had to special order the film to cover the from roof to rear window in 1 piece. The result is absolutely stunning. Don't skim on your expensive car by only tinting the lower/half part of your rear windshield on Model 3. It looks ridiculous from inside. Tint World offered me the package (all 5 windows, 4 quarter conners and rear roof) that no local shop could match together with life time warranty. I will come back to this place for next service. They are great, everyone of them in the shop! Highly recommend it! read more

WINDOWS BUBBLED AND PEELED.... If I could give them zero stars I would. Fist of all they tinted my windows and didn't even clean them which in my opinion is a lousy job. There were bubbles on the driver side and passenger side window as well. I told them and they went through it but didn't get every bubble. The person said it was just wet and it would go away but it didn't. I waited 4 days to roll my windows down and when I did the top of the window tint in the driver and passenger side started to peel. I have gotten many of my vehicles tinted and never experience anything like this. Horrible job and I don't recommend going here. Save your money and time! read more

If the owner says she's changing things up for 2020, then I believe her. She's super honest and I really think they can bring things back to former levels of quality. I would ask to see some current work before deciding. read more

Went to have them tinted my Tesla Model S. Small bubbles everywhere around the edge of the back windows. I was told to wait a few weeks, it should go away. But now we're at 4 months and the bubbles are still present. Their price for 4 windows and back winshield was about 400 bucks. read more

Do not go to this spot unless you want to have your tinted windows re-done. Tiny bubbles all around. I had to request a refund. I also had a protective clear bra placed on the front of my vehicle and the quality of work was crap. There were many imperfections to the point that some areas needed to be re done. I gave them the opportunity to correct it but it still was not professional grade. Save yourself time and money and go elsewhere. read more

I took my car to this shop when it was located in Morgan Hill. My wife had purchased me something on Groupon as a Xmas present for my new car. To make a long story short.... After two attempts at getting my windows tinted, there were still noticeable bubbles in the tint. I eventually went elsewhere and had my tint that was done at this shop removed and had it done professionally.... Car owners be ware!! read more

I haver never had a car detailed in my life so I was a bit apprehensive to have anyone touch it. I have hade some not so good experiences in the past, but I knew I had to get this done. The paint felt like sand paper, even after I would wash it, it still felt and looked terrible, she is black metallic and had no shine and no depth. After seeing the facility and meeting the owner Xan Owens I committed. Well she looks like she just came out of the show room, so beautiful and slick. I will probably get better mileage she is like glass, more aerodynamic. They did a great job I'm very happy with it, I will be getting my other car done soon. thanks so much. read more

They guys at Tint World were very nice. I showed up at 4:00 PM and usually don't take appointments after 4:00, but they were nice enough to get me in and still give me a good special on the window tinting. I went with 18% all around and 55% on my windshield! Check out the photos. read more

I had my windows tinted here and they unfortunately did an awful job. There were bubbles over a month later in four out of five windows & my back driver side window was somehow cut very crookedly. I had called regarding the bubbles a week after getting the tint & they said it's normal and will go away. Nope. Also, the crooked cut wasn't noticed till after I had moved away. Fortunately, I found a new Tint World. When I showed the owner my windows, he was appalled. He fixed all of my windows for free. He told me he had no idea as to how the one window was cut so crooked. Supposedly they use a laser cutter for the tint. What really gets me, is that I paid for the top of the line tint. I'd expect better application quality. All I can say is, take this as you see fit and if you decide to go here, make sure your windows are done correctly. read more

It's too bad it seemed to have gotten good reviews. Tried requesting a quote online and got no response and called with no answer, left a voice message so decided just to go in since my sons karate is Down the street And to my surprise they are closed and I am there supposedly 40 mins before their posted closing hours. I didn't expect service today I just wanted to come in for a quote since I have trouble getting a hold of them. I really like to support local businesses and I live in Morgan Hill was not wanting to have to go out of town to tint my windows. read more

I've gone to many places, but very few truly understand the value of a long-term customer or how to make them. Alex and his team seem to understand this concept very well and will go the extra mile for you. I went to four other locations for a 2nd opinion letter and Alex was the only one to greet me with a smile, and have it printed and in my hands within 30 minutes. I have since had my windows tinted at this location and look forward to doing further business! read more

Over $620 for a sedan car. Chemical stuck between the film and the window.

Wow! The service was great, the facility was clean and tidy and we got a really fantastic price. We had made an appointment to get a new radio installed and we arrived on time and we were assisted in a timely manor. Not only that but the installation was fast....about 30 min, but what was special, this radio did even more than we anticipated. It is not very often you get a buying experience as positive as ours. We would highly recommend this business. Thank you so much Tint World Ps coffee/water while you wait read more

I went to the Morgan Hill location in October 2016 and spoke to the female shop manager and male customer service rep on a simple window decal to print. A few months past and they still never gave me full price quote via phone or email; poor way to do business with a new customer. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and thought to see why they never contacted me and if they can still print the window decal. They didn't really give an apologetic response and just blew it off and then said it had to do with their email server (but why not call me then?). So I asked them for a price quote on the same simple window decal that any shop can print and they did originally tell me that they are capable of doing this request. It is now February 2017 and sure enough, no response back (still having email issues?). I know it's not a big request like a stereo or alarm install, but when the name of your company is called, "Tint World" which includes vinyl decals, you would think they would be able to provide a simple quote or at least have good customer service to follow up with someone, since I gave them (2) chances and it has been (5) months with no call back or price quote. Morgan Hill is a small town and if you can't multitask and provide a simple follow up to a customer (which you failed twice), perhaps they need new management at this location. I will never come back to this location nor recommend their business to anyone until they changed their entire staff and management. read more

Wouldn't recommend bringing a luxury or sports car here. They are nice people with good intention, but the skill isn't there. You'll have mini bubbles and light scratches, they will redo it for you since you do get lifetime warranty, but you will have the same end result. I personally like my tint to look oem, no bubbles, knife marks, or see the cut off edge. If your not picky this is a good place. But if you are picky and OCD about things, don't come here. I normally get my tint done in San Jose (California Glass Tinting Co.) but didn't have the time to drive there and drop of my car, there is no comparison between the two places, tint world has there products precut,(so they don't always fit exactly) while the other shop hand cuts its, leaving a perfect result with lifetime warranty as well. I did get a clear front bra protection from tint world as well, and it didn't turn out as I expected. The film ended about 1/4 to 1/2 inch from edges of the bumper and it isn't parallel to the edges either, there's lots of bubbles on certain bends of the bumper. Again, they have a machine pre cut it, so the results aren't perfect. Overall for the price I don't think it's worth coming here, San Jose charges me the exact same price and I get perfection the first time. read more

So far it has been a great experience. Easy to schedule, work was done quickly, friendly staff, and the windows are curing nicely.

Never. Never contact these guys. They do very poor quality work with poor quality materials. And then they blame you. I installed a protective film on the front bumper on a Tesla model 3. As a result, a couple of weeks after washing, the film moved away and there were bubbles. Went back to them and they redid it. At the same time, they said that it was my fault and that it was necessary to leave the car with them for the night, but they themselves did not talk about this during the installation. Then, a couple of weeks after washing, the film broke all over. I called them and they said no problem, come fix it and again it's my fault because you can't wash the car for a month, but again I only find out about it when it's already broken. When I arrived (and I was going to go from Santa Cruz), they said that they would not fix it, since it was not after washing and that it was my fault because I hit something. As a result, a lot of money, nerves, travel time was spent, and now my husband is removing this film. read more

I was not able to use their tinting service, but I tried. After talking to someone in the morning, I arranged to come in the evening, with my wife to pick out the best option for tinting. Their hours say they are open til 6pm. I told them we would be there about 530. Arrived about 540, doors are locked. I called, no one answered. I left a message, saying I was disappointed no one was there, but to call me to make other arrangements. I did not receive a return call. I went elsewhere. read more

I got my windows tinted and Rally stripes put on my car. The customer service was great! Very nice staff. The tint came out great! It was the rally stripes that disappointed me. First some of the edges of stripes were cut uneven and sticking up. Second they forgot to put the rest of the stripes on the front bumper. Third the stripes I supplied them with came with pinstripes and they didn't even bother to put those on! I would of gone back but I barely notice this today and I'm sure they have already dispose of what remain of my stripes I gave them. It's my fault as well for not looking at it when I first got my car back... read more

Recently completed a residential window tint project with Tint World. We called them and they came out immediately with swatch books, good selection to choose from. Pricing was competitive vs 2 other bids from large commercial shops in San Jose. Install time, communication, and customer service was excellent. Very pleased with the end results. Most of the windows were tinted perfectly, using a special material that was much more challenging to install than standard tint. However, we had a few windows that still did not look quite right after the curing period completed. Those windows were re-done, promptly and with a smile. It is refreshing to work with a business who stands behind their work. Highly recommend. read more

Xan and her crew are THE BEST in many ways. I had to go on a trip and the existing tint on my windows was and had failed. Xan fit me into a same-day schedule and delivered earlier than expected. The job was professional, the material excellent and the service was beyond reproach. Xan went above and beyond as I stated, she explained the entire process prior to asking for a commitment, gave me a ride home so I could go forward with my day as well as picked me up when the job was complete. During our ride I had the opportunity to meet a really great person who knows what it means to be a great member of the community. I recommend Xan, her company and team with complete confidence. read more

Tint World - Tinted windows and a Memphis sub - Auto Detailing Near Me - Gilroy, California

This review is way overdo but I'm catching up on other reviews of local businesses. Tint World in Morgan Hill is a decent place. They try hard to please but I wouldn't say they are top of line in terms of workmanship. When I tinted my truck with them they left off an approximately centimeter on the top of the side windows claiming that otherwise it would get damaged by the windows rolling up. Other tint businesses tint all the way to the top. Oddly, when I brought my truck back a few weeks later wanting a darker tint, I made an appointment to remove the tint and place a much darker shade. When I came back to pick up the truck, I was informed that they made the judgement call to simple tint over the existing tint. The guy said it as if he did me a favor, even thought I was paying extra to remove the old tint. This was last time I went and have since gone to San Jose for my other cars. They mean well but certainly not top quality. read more

So my installer was Alex and he was incredibly competent, polite, and knowledgeable. My vehicle is an older 530i that I had spent significant resources on restoring and Alex was sensitive to the needs of this project. He had the stereo installed exactly on time and the install was clean and worked perfectly. The installation was a bit expensive but what isn't expensive these days, the cost was worth it to not have to worry about anything. I rate this 4 1/2 stars as I've NEVER seen a 5 star worthy business anywhere and have never given (nor will I ever I expect) 5 stars. I will be back. read more
