Excellent service and pricing. Needed to get my old rear windshield tint removed since it was starting to haze. Adrian was very professional and provided me with all the details. He was able to remove the previous tint and kept the heating element intact which can be tricky sometimes. The new tint is crisp and provides enough privacy and protection. I also had Adrian removed my front window tint and put on new set. Again very crisp and excellent quality. Been looking around for the Llumar ceramic series tint and not many installers in my area. The few I found, their quotes were on the high side but stumbled on the team at Blackout that came in a reasonable pricing. The shop was a bit further than I hope but to save $200-$300, makes sense to go the extra distance. Adrian at Blackout was quick to respond from Yelp and afterwards on email. Was able to secure a Saturday appointment. The work was completed an hour later than quoted but fine with me. Rather spend time doing it right than rushing, an extra hour or two is not a big deal. Overall, the tint job looks excellent. Tinted all windows and also the windshield (Llumar Air80). It's been a few weeks and the tint has settled in nicely. It was suggested to leave the car in the sun for at lease 3-5 days to help the tint dry properly and no washing or rolling down windows. I didn't touch the windows for 2 weeks. No bubbles or imperfections. Great install. The only nit pick I would have is that I had to ask for the LLumar warranty card. It should be part of the receipt, especially for products with lifetime warranties. Great experience with the team at Blackout and worth the drive down to Gilroy. Good pricing and service. Would highly recommend and definitely come back for future work. Products used: LLumar Ceramic IRX series 5% and 15% for windows, Llumar Air80 clear for windshield. read more

The experience was excellent and we are happy with the results! We got the Air80 on all the windows. There is a faint blue visible and then with polarized sunglasses there is a bit of rainbow haze but it is basically clear (what we asked for). We just wanted the tinting for the heat reduction and did not want much change in visibility. Honestly the hardest part was remembering to keep the windows shut for a couple of days. The drop off and pick up were super smooth. I was able to drop off the car before work and pick it up on my lunch break.
