Scamming at an all time high I booked an appointment to get a GPS tracker installed into my car (mind you I already had 4 installed by another vendor) he says it $150 an hour plus I needed a module to override factory estimate was $290 my regular guy was unavailable I already knew this prior my appointment time was 11am they literally tried to bill me for 3 hours there is no way it should have taken this long except for the technician not knowing what he was doing or you want to run up a bill on me I refused to pay for the lack of expertise or the snail service he did allow me to pay the original estimate but I had to raise hell because this was unexceptional it would have been $559 plus tax for a gps to be installed which is double what I'm used to paying for a mobile service that can be done in a hour I hate that men try to get over on women they think we don't know anything so I called the owner to the gps and he confirmed that this was impossible and this sounded like the tech had no experience installing the gps I drove over 40 minutes and waited from 11am to 3pm for a gps to be installed I do not recommend I will be patient and wait for my mobile gps service to install on the rest of me fleet vehicles. Excellent experience. I had a high pitched noise that people were telling me was the speaker. But when I turned the car on and they heard the sound they reached under the seat and unplugged the amplifier. Problem solved. Then they found a used amplifier and installed when it came in. Spent more than I expected but the problem was solved. read more

Tint world I've went to in Jacksonville did not serve me as well as they could because te tint in my back window wasn't fulling covered they it was suppose to be so it made me unhappy with there work but; despite that bad job on my back window issue everything else including the owner and staff was great I cannot complain about them they were great I should have said something sooner but time seem to go by fast and was too busy working which isn't accuse but that's mine. I will find someone else closer to repair my back wind shield later. read more

UPDATE: I ended up speaking with both Dee Patel & the Older Patel (both owners) and they both denied to fix my bubble windows and when I requested my refund I was also denied! I advise you to go elsewhere to have your windows tinted as these are money hungry people with no care for customer service ! I even contacted corporate and Dee Patel told me corporate told him they did not care what type of decision he made despite the poor quality and service I received. This place is a joke. I had my widows tinted on my 2020 Lexus ES350. They did a good job on the windows but the next day we couldn't open the front passenger door from inside the car. I had to take it to the dealer to reconnect the door handle cable. For the price you pay you would think they make sure everything is working before calling you to pick up your car. I had the pleasure of dealing with both Mark and Frank at this location. Rather than going through the dealership I went through these guys to get a minor hit and run on my bumper fixed. Mark is the man! I trusted his judgment (even though I was a little worried) and he did an AMAZING job! He removed a section of the protective covering that was damaged and left it so clean and seamless it's like new again. This guy knows his stuff and was able to answer many questions I had that the dealership themselves couldn't answer. I will def use them from now on and highly recommend them to anyone else. 5 Stars, hands down. I own a used pickup truck that had cheap, crappy tint applied to the front windows and I went here to get it removed. Talked to the owners last week to discuss tinting all windows on two cars. They provided descent rates with a discount because I asked. I liked that they were a franchise with good reviews. The problem...for the past two days we've tried to drop the cars off around 815-830a, on our way to work since the shop opens at 8am and we work down the street but no one has been there. How do you open at 8am and I've advised you we were coming but the shops pitch black???? Sorry gentleman but we'll be giving our business & $250 x 2 + taxes/fees to Glass Tiger Window Tinting...they show up & have great reviews!!! read more

I called to get a quote to have my windows tinted w/ the 5% 3M film. I was quoted $299 for their ULTIMATE Tint Package. When I arrived at the store I was told that quote was for only for 2 windows. AND MY NEW PRICE WOULD BE $500. To get the price down I had to choose an 18% tint. I dropped my car off at 3pm. I was told it would be ready at 6 - 6:30pm. 7pm came and no call from the Tint World. When I received a call they said they could not get to the car today and requested I reschedule for 2 days later w/ a $50 discount. NO THANK YOU!!!!! I Uber'd all the way back home for you not to perform any type of services. I wasted my entire day for nothing. I guess damn whatever I had to move around or change plans. 1pm tinting appt, told less than 2 hr installation, finished @ 6pm while I waited. 'we had to remove your door panels' & received an 8% discount, thanking me for my patience. They'd not worked on a newer Prius previously and didn't know the time it'd take EVEN after i asked the installer about awkward looking angles and access to the glass prior to installation. It was frustrating spending 5 hours there and I suspect the end results will reflect both the time and $$$ I invested. *** one MAJOR reason I'd recommend this business over other tinting options -- they have a computer that cuts the tint film custom to your auto glass specs rather than making a manual paper template (by hand) like other 'groupon discounted' shops do. The finished products looks more professional. Both the owner and technicians were polite, friendly and know their trade. read more

I had an appointment on a Saturday to drop off my car to have the windows re tinted. My old tint was bad and very bubbly. I felt bad because it took them a long time to remove my old tint . Once they removed it and added the new tint it was like a brand new car!! I appreciate the time they took to make my car look nice again! My windows look fantastic! The guys were very professional! The only issue I had was that I was told to drop my car off in between 8 am-9 am. I was there at 8 am and no one got there until 9 am. Other than that I had a good experience! read more

Terrible service and terrible quality...this is what will happen when you take your car in there: Dropped off my Mercedes for a window tint and some vinyl wraps, Dee (owner) told me it would be ready before the end of that day and would call me to update me. 1. Nobody called me so I called twice for an update, car was not ready and then nobody would answer the phone. They kept my car and Everyone went home. I had to uber home after work because I didn't know where my car was or if someone took it. 2. The second day the car is not ready, I called and Dee told me to pick it up at 4pm. I go there and they forgot to tint one of my windows and were half-way done. Multiple corners of the car were not even tinted all the way through and I had to make them re-do the 4 different sides of the car. SH*T quality work. 3. The third day the car is still not ready, I never get a call from them to update me. I call and go there, corners of the vinyl wrap look like a child did them, so I have to take off work to sit on the shop floor and make sure the car gets re-done & doesn't look like shit. After all, I want it properly finished after 3 days of waiting in limbo. Long story short, these guys do terrible work and will never communicate with you. Your 5-hour work will take days without you knowing what's going on with YOUR car. I was going to do additional work (to have it all done in one place) and cancelled the rest of my order very frustrated. It seems like a business where the owner doesn't give a sh*t therefore the workers don't give a sh*t about doing ANY quality work. Don't be impressed by the ferraris and lambos on the lobby, none of them worked on those cars. Come waste your money, time and patience at Tint World...good luck. Update: After the 5-day headache with the owner, Will stepped up and took over the mess for me. He was very polite and they re-did the front grill. So far it looks great in the front, Will seems like a guy that wants to change how Dee treats his customers. Talk to Will and he'll take care of you. read more

I would not recommend this place. The communication with customers is horrible. You will be told your vehicle will be ready at one time and it will not. Had tinting done and there was some type of dried solution on my car doors on the inside. You could see where it ran down. I did not notice it until I got home. If you do not have a high end vehicle I do not feel they remotely care about your car and even then it probably depends on who you are. Seems like they are money and celebrity client driven. The tint was okay, and overprice for the job. Could have gotten better service and quality somewhere else I am sure, but I was pressed for time. Not worth arguing with this shop as you would still spend your entire day getting it corrected. Consider yourself warned. read more

I had just gone to the dealer to get a quote on diagnosing an electrical problem with my headlights. The previous owner had installed HIDS. The dealer quoted me at over $1500 to diagnose the problem, rewire and harness everything and install the new lights. I laughed in their face. I called Tint World (Roswell) from my car, ten minutes away, and they said they'd take a look right away. They diagnosed the issue and installed new LEDS for under $300.
