THE BEST! I am new to the state of Virginia and failed the mandatory safety inspection because my car's third brake light was obscured by the tint on my hatchback. I contacted several tint shops to see if my current tint can be modified. Tint Tech was one of the first to respond, and the only one who responded saying they may be able to do it. Almost all other places said it needed to be taken off and a new one reinstalled. They were able to take me immediately, and they were very responsive, fast, friendly, and did an awesome job. I wasn't even there 5 minutes, and they were all done. The tint looks like it always had the third brake light cut out. Tint Tech easily saved me over $100 because I didn't have to get it removed and redone. Moving to another state is already costly and a lot of work, so I appreciate these guys for helping make the transition just a little bit easier. Went to Tint Tech to have aftermarket lights put in on my vehicle, spent over $300 for the service. I explained ahead of time where on the vehicle I wanted the lights installed. 1) the lights were not installed as asked 2) the job was done so poorly the brackets were already cracked upon receipt 3) after two months the lights stopped working from a poor wiring job 4) called to see if Tint Tech could fix, was informed "sorry no warranty" and would charged additional. Maybe Tint Tech does a fine job on tinting but I would stay away from them for anything else. read more

I had a great experience with Tint Tech. My car came in to get the windows retinted with 35% all around from a previous tint shop. A minor inconvenience happened to my car, but Brent (the owner) helped me out and literally exceeded my expectations of a business owner and did the right thing. He and his company have earned my business for the future. As well as anybody who I know needs windows tinted that I know. They work hard and do an amazing job for the price. I went here over a year ago. They were nit busy. I had an appointment . The owner said they had a VIP waiting area and AC. I ended up waiting two-and a half hours. The couch was overly soft and low to he ground. The worker turned OFF the AC. It was the worst experience. They also claim they use SunTek yet no warranty papers were given to me. When I asked about it later- I got the run-around. The end result of tint was okay. Pay the $25 or so extra and go to a different tint shop . read more

I cannot recommend Brent and the crew at his shop any more highly. I had some tinting done and an audio system installed. All was done professionally and to the highest standard. There was a small issue with a defective audio part and Brent stood by his work 100% going above and beyond to fix the issue. Made appointment to have windows tinted. Was told price and time of 1 1/2 to 2 hrs max. Even though they have credit card stickers on the window, when job was done they demanded I pay in cash. Then wanted to charge 7.5% extra to use credit card for payment. Also, the 1 1/2 - 2 hours, it took 5 1/2 hours until my car was done. read more

Give this place an A+! Brent the owner is very customer friendly. His crews were out working on house jobs on Saturday and therefore the shop was closed when I got there. Instead of basically telling me "oh well, sorry," he accommodated me to the fullest. He told me I could leave my car there with keys in the drop box, and he would get it done Sunday morning (keep in mind they are closed Sundays). Brent came in on Sunday morning and did the job himself. It was done by noon. Not only was Brent outstanding in taking care of me, the work he did is great! I canceled an appointment with another window tinting company because Tint Tech's prices were a little less for what I thought would be a comparable product. I arrived on Saturday morning (04-01-2017) 15 minutes before they opened as suggested, just to get in & out quicker. The owner was outside loading his truck. The following exchange took place: Him: Are you here for tinting? Me: Yes. Him: Can't get to you today, my tinter called in sick. Me: (Obviously surprised) You've gotta be kidding, after I canceled an appointment somewhere else. Him: (very defensive) It's not my fault that my tinter didn't show up & I run 2 stores. I'm on my way to the Tappahannock store. Me: You've only got one tinter? The exchange continued as I was hoping to get some kind of reasonable agreement or at least, an apology & suggested resolution. He ended with: Hey, I don't like unhappy customers. To which I responded: I'm not your customer, gonna' call the place back that I canceled from & see if they can work me in today. Him: Oh, well. I know that sometimes employees surprise owners &/or managers with unexpected absences and such but the owner's, "I don't really care, not my problem" attitude was totally unacceptable & I will never return to this business nor will I recommend them to anyone that is looking for a service that they provide. read more
