Without a doubt the worst small business I have ever dealt with in my entire life. I was looking for a new window tinter as the one I trusted moved. I explained to Brady at the location that I was looking for a quality tint job and was willing to pay for the top of the line tint in order to receive a professional job. $220 later for an extended cab truck, what I received was the exact opposite. There was tons of trash (lint), a 3" hair, grains of dirt/sand and sections of quarter sized white spots where I imagine they used too much glue. I gave the tint the allotted time to set up to see if anything changed before I reached out to them.
I called the owner who works out of the office in Easley and explained to him the issue and scheduled an appointment for him to look at it. Upon arrival he pulled my truck into the bay for less than two minutes, pulled it out and told me that there were so many issues because it had not dried properly due to the temperature. He told me if it still looked the same in July bring it back. It was tinted in February! If they cannot do a decent job in the winter then why are they even open for business? Obviously the summer heat is not strong enough to melt hair, sand and trash between the glass and my windows.
I went back to their shop on Laurens Road where the original tint was done and spoke with Brady. He yelled, refusing to fix his piss poor work until I threatened to leave poor reviews on sites such as this about the quality of work and lack of professionalism. He then attempted to fix the windows only to fix some issues while creating more. At this point, I left a long-winded review on Yelp.com. The owner contacted me and begged me to give them another opportunity even though I had already been to their locations 3 times and been tinted twice with terrible results. He guaranteed that if I came to his shop in Easley he would fix every single thing wrong with the tint. I removed the review thinking that the owner was actually going to get things right. This was a poor decision.
The owner retinted it himself. When he finished there were still tons of trash and scratches from the squeegee he used to do the install. The tint even extended beyond the top of the window like they forgot to trim it. I drove back and forth 5 times to different locations, invested $220 in their high end tint and still have a pathetic attempt at window tinting to show for it. The owner was big on making excuses for why their work was terrible rather than listening to the customer and accepting responsibility for their mistakes. Rather juvenile lessons they failed to learn in life. He proclaimed that he has been tinting windows for over 30 years and told me that trash gets into tint and that's just how it is. Well, maybe it's time he retires, because this is without a doubt the worst window tinting I have ever dealt with and I have had many vehicles tinted. All of these excuses contradicted him telling me on the phone that since I paid $220 "it should be flawless and we will fix every issue with your tint." They failed 3 times.
I went back the final time seeking a refund as I was not about to let them touch it again. I actually circled every single flaw in the tint with a dry erase marker (it looked like I was driving an overly spotted Dalmatian up to his shop) so he could quickly see all the issues that remained. Not that it would have been hard to see. With all the trash in this tint Stevie Wonder could read these windows like Braille. I explained to the owner that I had a total of 162 miles travel time for them to attempt to fix it and was still left with a shotty tint job. I told him I was going elsewhere to have the issue corrected by a true professional and wanted my money back since it would now cost more because I would have to have his tint removed. He told me he was not going to refund a dime. I would certainly recommend them to my worst enemies. You would have better luck having your windows tinted by a group of blind, paraplegic, mentally handicapped people with Down syndrome (exaggeration). Pathetic owners like this are the reason that people in today's society lack trust in American business. If you have any questions I would be glad to send you pictures of my tint or copies of mine and the owners text message conversation.
Long story short: Poor work rectified with excuses.
