This restaurant has a great location, interesting concept (African-focused world cuisine), and good…read moreviews. The dishes are ok to good, but unfortunately service is painfully slow and it is overpriced (particularly for Madrid). It would be a 4 star option for drinks, but really isn't worth it for dinner.
I had a rum based cocktail (essentially a mojito), Jollof rice with prawn (too salty, not spicy. and not really prawn or tomato forward; more like a weird Latin fusion take on the dish?). and chicken from the braai (decent, although hard to mess up grilled chicken). Came out to
85 Euros, which is almost 2x what would be reasonable in this city generally, and 3-4x a place for better food
and service with less location and ambiance.
