They knew I lived on the lake and they knew I did not have central air conditioning. They never let the hardwood acclimate and started installing it the day after delivering it. They didn't even nail the flooring per manufacturer spec. The flooring cupped and is still cupped. Even after installing central air, it's embarrassing to look at. Both Heckman's and the inspector blamed my contractor for not keeping the site conditions moderated during the renovation. They have insurance and they weren't big enough to own up to their mistake. Now I live with a $10k bumpy floor. Atrocious.

What was supposed to take 8-10 weeks took a bit longer - due to COVID, our fabric was back-ordered. Eric sent us occasional updates while we waited. It arrived mid-October and we scheduled the install right before Veterans Day. The A Team comprised of Eric, Mike and Steve arrived, worked like a well-oiled machine, and in no time at all our new awning was up and running. This crew was professional, extremely knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the install. We highly recommend Image Awnings!

They seemed to be professional or so we thought. Not quite a year later our awnings failed. It was very clear that they were not installed properly, we also had damage to the siding of our home. Although concerned we were shocked to be treated in such a disrespectful and rude manner. They actually refused to stand behind their work and tried to get additional funds from us. These awnings are expensive, were reported to be some of the best in the area. Our advice is to look elsewhere... they have the sale psychology down... how they stand behind their product and installation including the materials they use. Don't fall for it. Other installations near us have encountered the same experience. Poor installation practice and failures... only to be treated in a disrespectful manner with an outrageous estimate to fix the issue... And we thought they could be trusted and stood behind their work. They sadly do not... it is how they choose to do business. You will notice a 5 star review which is not accurate ... ours sadly is. The company cannot be trusted.

We were so surprised and happy at Ippolito's! Not only were we able to forego the big box stores and buy an American-made sofa, which was important to us, we also had excellent service from Deb, who was attentive and professional, and also got a wonderful deal. We were told our sofa would be in town in eight weeks, and Deb checked in with us during that time to let us know she was looking out for it. We were able to borrow swatches in the meantime with no hassle, and the sofa even came early! The delivery crew was just as friendly and professional as Deb, and was also early. Hooray Ippolito's! This redesign was enormously helpful for my husband who had difficulty walking and going up and down stairs. The man who laid the new pavers did an excellent job as did the others workers who helped lay new stone to replace the railroad ties. They were friendly, helpful and very hard working. We are totally pleased with what they did and recommend them with enthusiasm.

While the prices at Home Depot and Lowes were much better, I decided that it would be worth it to have a local company in case of problems or the need for future service. What a mistake. The prices were high to begin with and then they tried to screw me by hitting me for all the extra charges that were part of the original deal. For example, they didn't know they were going to need adhesive for tile? The attitude was terrible, they were extremely difficult to work with. It took weeks to get them to put estimates together because everyone has reduced hours, supposedly because of the economy. I used them for wood flooring and tile work. I wouldn't use them if they were the last business on earth. I never bother to write reviews but i couldn't let someone else endure this if it could be avoided. Avoid these people at all cost. Lowes in Gilford is very friendly, has good prices, provides estimates promptly and shows up exactly when they say they will.
