We ordered tickets the second they came on pre-sale and ended up with general admission, which is normal for such a busy and popular game. We arrived 45 minutes before the first pitch and the property was already overcrowded. Nobody was directing traffic and people were parking anywhere, including in an active construction zone. When we left, so many people were blocked in. For such a big game, there should have been someone directing parking traffic. Once we entered the stadium, it took 10-15 minutes to even find a seat. The general admission section is a mess here. People are constantly coming up and down the stairs for the entirety of the game, hoping to find a seat. Due to this, our view was blocked 80% of the time. I was lucky to get the picture attached here during that 20%. The best part about this complex is the concessions. Unlike many ballparks and sports stadiums across the country, they're actually affordable here. We purchased 3 popcorns, 2 peanut bags, and 1 pretzel all for $10. Wow! What a steal. Overall, it's a nice stadium but needs more workers during such busy games.

My visit was during the pandemic so there was ample antibacterial soap dispensers available and social distancing in the stands was being enforced. Every other bleacher was roped off. ( sorry for the late post ) The check in was really easy and the small clear bag policy wasn't an issue. Parking was easy as we parked by the near parking garage and walked maybe 5 minutes to the stadium. We had a really good time at the game watching the pride win and really enjoyed the fireworks and music during the halftime. Food selection was good and the had a variety of Pepsi products and cold beers. I'm looking forward to going to games this year with my daughter as she plays soccers and has not been to a game. On the website it shows the season of 16 games running through November 1,2026 so I will definitely be updating my review for the current season.

Though I was surprised to realize there's only one video board, in a corner, so a lot of people can't really see the replays. Also, the chairs feel a bit flimsy, and it's a bit weird that they have no armrests. I generally appreciate downtown stadiums, being accessible to transit and to other businesses. But not much transit in Orlando and seemingly little development impact; it also makes for minimal stadium parking, and not in the best part of town. I was sure glad to be sitting in the shade of the west side of the stadium, the folks opposite were getting baked.

However, around COVID, I decided not to renew, so it has been a few years since I've been to a game. The reps from the team have been in contact with me often over the last several years. The call and they email, asking if I want to buy another season or package of games. Apparently, all my points from lion nation have added up? They said I had credit in my account that I could use towards tickets. I used my credit to get a three game package in the vip section which includes all you can eat and drink (NA/beer/wine). We went to a Saturday game and had a great time. The seats were great- I could see the plays happening and nothing blocked my view. The food has suffered a bit of a decline. No longer do they serve elaborate charcuterie tables, but instead have a few hot items and the typical hot dog plus/minus chili cheese. That night it was pasta, Chicken and waffles and pork taco. The food was just ok. For beverages, their coolers were full all night with water, soda and sparkling water. We did not want to have beer or wine. They do sell cocktails. The lounge experience has gone downhill. It no longer seems like a vip experience because there are just too many people. They have a huge TV now and they got rid of the small merchandise shop. The lounge is unbelievably noisy. It was difficult to find a place to sit and eat. I do like that it has bathrooms, so I don't have to go far and miss the game. The D entrance is nice too- it's private and has clean bathrooms and a way to get to the regular concourse if you desire. I do like the team. I also enjoy the game. However, I don't think the vip experience is worth it. Just get the cheap tickets and eat on the concourse or go out to eat after the game. You can get a great view from many seats in the stadium. I love that you can go to the game on any budget- they have cheap tickets in the supporter section. It's affordable for most people. I will continue to support the team and I will finish my package of games. I still have more credit so I'll invite some friends. But if I buy tickets in the future, it won't be for the vip lounge experience. I'd rather get a suite or sit in the regular seats.

The Women's Club of Winter Park was founded by Mrs. Helen Morse who held the first meeting in her…read morehome, the Osceola Lodge on January 15, 1915. Sixteen women were invited to the first meeting. It is one of the oldest not for profit organizations in Winter Park. Morse served as the clubs first President, Lucy Blackman as Vice President, and Mrs. Hiram Power as secretary. The club met in various places, people's homes, schools, the town hall, and the library. Mrs. Powers formed a committee and began the search for land for a permanent building for the club in 1917. Mr. Charles H. Morse's eventually donated five city lots that had been the first tee of the golf club. WWI delayed construction of a building until 1919 when Percival Hutton was hired as the architect. The final cost of the building was $40,000 paid through donations and fund raising projects. The first meeting in the new clubhouse was on January 21, 1921. The Women's Club was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 4, 1995. The purpose of the club today is the same as when it was founded, to engage in charitable and educational efforts for the residents of Winter Park, to provide scholarships for students attending higher institutions of learning, and to preserve the history of both Winter Park and the club for future generations in the city. I was able to visit the Women's Club for a rummage sale. They also make their historic building available for private events like weddings.

Architect and…read morecarpenter There are skilled carpenters and there are talented architects, seldom is one person both. William Waterhouse was one of these rare and special individuals and built a very cool house that reflected his unique abilities. The Waterhouse family decided to come down from New York to spend some time in the Maitland area of Florida in the late 19th century. Wasn't much down there at that time so Mr Waterhouse decided to build his own house. Since he was an accomplished architect he designed the home in the New York style that he was familiar with and since he also hapened to be a skilled carpenter he built the house himself from the abundant local pine. In 1884 the house was finished and the family moved in and lived, entertained and become prominent in the community. The house is impressive and cool but certainly not extravagant. The Waterhouse family would probably be called upper middle class today, well off but certainly not filthy rich. The house was of course changed over the years but was finally restored to reflect it's original character and even filled with antiques from the period. Tours are available with wonderful docents for only three dollars. You not only get to see the cool house, wonderful period furniture and antiques but also the workshop filled with old tools from the time the Waterhouse family lived here. The docent we had was great, she knew everything there was to know about the house, Waterhouse family and the local area in the time the home was built. Patiently answered our questions and gave us a great tour and history lesson. Since the house is right on the grounds of lovely Lake Lily Park after seeing the house you can spend some time walking around the park. A great way to spend a few hours while in Maitland.

When I had arrived, there was already a line waiting to get inside the arena as a lot of us were there for the early merchandise purchase if you were gold or platinum with RunDisney. I thought the arena itself was great when I walked in to it. Huge, new and very well set up for large crowds! There's just a lot of activity at an event like this such as bib pickup, merchandise, food, but Disney does a good job keeping things running! This is where they held the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo for Springtime Surprise 2026, which seemed to be the center of the entire experience during race weekend! Everyone there was excited, checking out merch, taking photos, and talking about the upcoming races. There's this really fun mix of Disney energy and race weekend that makes it feel more like an event than just a packet pickup! Walking through the arena was amazing! There's always photo opportunity with the Disney characters as well, but there usually is a wait line for each though. Usually there are four different characters on each race weekend. I participated in the RunDisney Springtime Surprise 2026 race which was themed from Zootopia. I also appreciated how spacious everything felt. Even with a lot of people inside! The arena was clearly built to handle large sporting events and competitions! I thought AdventHealth Arena was a great venue for runDisney weekend activities! It was clean, organized, and had so much energy! It really helped kick off the whole Springtime Surprise experience on a high note before even stepping onto the course in Epcot for the 5K! For this race though, there was the 5K, 10K and 10 miler!
