I really enjoy the Kia Center. If you can walk a mile each way, free parking can be found at a street meter, downtown around Lake Eola or closer, after 6pm and all day on Sunday. At the end of a show big groups of people walk together back towards their cars & it's fun. The food items can be pricey, but a soda for $4, or popcorn, might be the best choices. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I tend to sit high up to save money on tickets, and up there part of a sign or screen behind the stage might be blocked by overhead visuals, lighting fixtures.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Seats were comfortable. No drink holder. Check the section you're in, it's written on the wall. No railing to hold when walking past other seats.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Audio was excellent. One time when I saw Jimmy Buffet the people around me kept talking, but when I saw Weird Al Yankovic he sounded great and I could hear better. I saw a '80s~'90s old school show there once & the BASS was booming, excellent sound.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Interesting how they divide the place up for different shows, giant parts of the auditorium/stadium disappear with humongous giant black curtain screens. I got to play road warriors with my sister Gwen, watching the Detroit Pistons defeat the Orlando Magic on March 1st, 2026 by a score of 106-92, a fortuitous foreshadowing of the first round playoff series victory that would follow. I don't have many arenas to compare Kia Center to, and I feel like basketball/hockey arenas are a lot more homogeneous than say baseball stadiums. There was nothing here to really knock my socks off like when I took my dad to see the Tigers play at Pittsburgh's glorious PNC Park. But it was a swell time nonetheless. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I also don't usually spring for or get freebies for lower bowl seats so it's a bit apples and oranges to try to compare the close to the action seats I treated us to here to the high altitude ones I usually find myself in at Little Caesar's Arena, recently for a game 2 playoff win against these same Orlando Tragic.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Sorry, I should try to keep it classy here, especially since my Pistons bought themselves a trip to Cancun in the second round. The pizza stand we hit up was well organized and smooth, letting a big queue move through there pretty quickly, with its system of grabbing premade slices, beverages and snacks yourselves and then cashing out with cards at self service kiosks. There's stands at LCA set up like that but only for beverages and snacks, nothing with food that will serve as a whole meal. I also like this better than the system I encountered at PNC Park in Pittsburgh where you have to preorder and cash out on your phone and then come up when your number is called. The pizza was okay, nothing outstanding but arena and stadium food never really is. You could tell it was an Orlando Magic home game but there was a sizable and vocal Pistons fan contingent there. We actually sat next to a couple of Detroit fans and there were a couple more a couple rows behind us. With Orlando being such a tourist destination I feel like they probably often get mobbed up with fans of visiting teams, at least from the eastern part of the country (and Canadian Raptors fans) especially at certain times of the year. [[HIGHLIGHT]]My decibel meter on my phone only maxed out around 100 which isn't too great, though the arena was probably somewhere between 2/3 and 3/4 full.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] No comparison to John Mason player intros back home but all the usual whistles and bells with snippets of rap songs, cheerleaders, youth performers and a dragon as opposed to a horse mascot. I selected a $37.50 seat through Ticketmaster, who charged $10+ as a service charge!! (Now I know why the majority of the country hates this monopoly!!) It was easy getting in, but getting out from the 200 level requires patience as there is a HUGE bottleneck to get onto the escalators. I only had one drink (no food) and that cocktail cost me $18 (not including tip!) for a shot of alcohol I could not taste in a cup filled to the top with ice. The Kia Center hosts many types of indoor events in downtown Orlando. I've attended Magic basketball games and pop/rock concert. The arena also hosts comedians and others shows, and is home to the Orlando Solar Bears. Entry through security has been orderly even with long lines. One of the newest things (I think) is the Hall of Fame memorial area on the second floor. I have noticed that their signature drinks cups have gotten jokingly smaller over the years but still cost the same. Shrinkflation much.. Game 6 in Orlando watching the Orlando Magic choke at home was disappointing. The Magic didn't score for a period of forty five minutes at one point during the contest and they only scored nineteen points in the entire second half after putting up sixty points in the first half and having a double digit lead. I've been to 3 concerts at the Kia Center and it has been a good experience so far. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The venue is modern, easy to get around, and the sound has been great for every show I've seen there.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The last concert we went to in December, we booked one of the Founders Seats with a group of friends and it was a totally different way to watch a concert, something I'd never experienced before. Love going to Orlando Magic games. All the employees are always friendly and helpful. Finding the right hallway and seat can be confusing but an employee is never far to greet you with a smile and ask if you need help. Traffic in the garage and leaving the center is always atrocious. Food for the loge is very good. Wide variety of items from the typical hot dog to delicate pieces of fish. Couldn't even make it to the dessert bar because I was so stuffed. Later on in the game, ordered a cookie to my seat. Thought it would be nice and warm but it was cold and hard. Sticky ribs, waffle fries, brownie and ice cream, tenders, popcorn, nachos, sandwiches...all got good feedback from all my coworkers. I love the Kia Center! Gosh, I just can't get used to calling it that. My mind still wants to say Amway. At any rate, I still love the place. Some of my best memories are from here! We have been to more concerts and events here since it opened than I can count. It still seems like it just opened yesterday. Wow. It's definitely been a hot minute, for sure! The place is still big and open and clean. Even when the place is sold out, I never feel like I'm too closed in here which I do in many other arenas. Bathrooms are always clean. Yes, the lines do get quite long, so plan accordingly. Plenty of options to choose from for something to eat. Love that there are so many options. Card only here. Don't forget that. They don't accept cash for anything. Comfortable seating. A/C is always working and it's nice and cool in the arena. Love that to escape from the Florida heat. The STAFF! The STAFF! The STAFF! Every single person who works here that I have ever come in contact with has always gone above and beyond with a smile on their face! If there are rude people that work here, well, I've yet to meet one. Everyone is always so friendly and helpful. It really means a lot!! So accommodating for those who are disabled. Very friendly for those in a wheelchair. If you are HOH or D/deaf, make sure to contact the box office at least two weeks before your event to request an interpreter - I know they have them available for all concerts. I know we'll still be coming here for many, many more years to come, and I can't wait for all the future events I'm going to see here! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall, a great venue to watch a Magic game.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'm glad my husband knew it would be busy trying to get in, so we allocated 15 minutes to get through security and 15 minutes to get to our seats which was pretty much spot on. There are very long lines to get through security, but they move relatively quickly. Make sure you know the bag policy, I watched the woman in front of me have to go put her bag either in a locker or back in her car because the width was too big even though the length and height was fine. They actually have a rectangle on the table for them to put the purse against to make sure if fits the dimensions. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Our seats were in section 117 and it was a great view of the game. I felt like the stadium was on the smaller side so we were able to see everything.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I walked around a bit to see if there was any food or drink that I wanted, I have to admit that I don't think this is a great place to grab food or drinks so I would recommend getting them before coming to the stadium. There are some interesting options like homemade ice cream, but nothing else really stood out to me. They do have quite a bit of food and drinks, but I would recommend going during the game if you're not an avid fan because at halftime, the lines got along again. After 28 years, was time to see Disney on Ice again and take my toddler! They do have every year in Orlando, but we never went there. It's inside the Kia Center, so be prepared to arrive earlier as you need to park you car (so sometimes it's crowd). We bought our ticket at the entrance, because the fees online were ridiculous high. Was really easy to get in, roads closed around, a lot of cops and staffs helping. Please, remember that unless you have a baby, bags are not allowed inside and prices of food are higher than Disney prices. The show it's really fun, even if you get the further seat will be fine (as they close part of the arena, so the really upper area aren't available) We do have an Disney annual pass, so, one time was more than enough, the shows at the park (most of them, on my opinion are better) but Thai one it's different, it's on ice, so I think one time it's good and enough, if you don't have the diansy pass, this is a must! Show took longer than we expected, I had an protein bar and just got some drinks inside, we prefer to exit an eat real pizza (at Bruno' d that it's 12 min away) Otherwise, recommend the show, it was fun and we bought same day as the show, so we saved some money as we got discounted. read more

I've been to the Kia Center (formerly Amway) a few times over the years for different events. Last night, I saw Andrea Bocelli in concert with my family. The venue is quite large-- "875,000 square feet with a seating capacity that varies by event, such as 18,846 for an NBA game and up to 20,000 for NCAA basketball. The arena has eight levels and features 60 suites and 1,400 club seats." We didn't try the food here this time, but they have offerings from concession food, to I believe an actual restaurant(s) inside. The staff all around were helpful and kind. My critiques are minor: 1) Steep seats! The way the seats are arranged is kind of scary. It's nice for the view, but especially with older people, it doesn't feel safe. My picture absolutely does not do justice to show what I'm talking about, but trust me. There's no way to grab the seat backs on the row in front of you for balance as one often does because the top of the seat below is basically at floor level with the row above. It's almost dizzying. 2) It was such chaos trying to leave. There are limited elevators and escalators that get backed up extremely fast and for a long time. Sure, there are stairs, but when with my family who needed assistance, these were our only two safe options. 3) The drinks are expensive! I bought us each a bottle of water (4 bottles) and spent over $20! Other than that, we had a great time! The concert was incredible. read more

We expected bar type food- and order chicken tenders and a pretzel. The tenders were delicious! For being over priced (expected for games) and at an arena- they were really good. It came with waffle fries which were also delicious and seasoned very well. Truly, som of the best tenders and fries we have had! They also had honey mustard (I'm not a big fan, but my husband is) and he raved about it- I tried and honestly, it was also delicious. So I'm not sure what they did and where they got these items from- but we were very happy with our selection. During game time, we had a pretzel and cheese sauce. That was alright. What we did like is the line moved quickly, and efficiently. The limited options (tenders, burgers, popcorn and hot dog) were set up in warmers for you to grab, then you moved through the line and could grab a drink ( made by staff as you walked through, so quick grabs too), and then set your food on a counter that automatically knew what you picked out and you could tap your card to pay. It was so efficient, I've not seen anything like that at a game- and think it's genius. A few times I have been here for events. All have been fun and great times were had. Besides how slow the service was at the bar downstairs if you have floor seats (56 mins to wait in line for two beers), I still would recommend this place. Just grab two each or walk to another bar. If you are wondering, others had friends search for a different bar or beer cart with shorter lines. When they returned empty handed, we were informed the closest ones had lines just as long. They always make even sold out shows flow in and out smoothly, without creating traffic issues, or seeming overwhelmed. First time at the KIA Center, Mr. Ray took me to a Lil Wayne concert as a surprise, he told me we were going to City Walk for dinner. I've attended many events at the Kia Center over the years--Disney on Ice, Solar Bears hockey games, concerts--and always had a great time. But the Monster Jam event on August 3, 2024, the day before my birthday, left me devastated and emotionally shaken. I arrived more than an hour early with my toddler son, excited to celebrate both of our birthdays with a day we had been looking forward to for months. I had purchased our tickets directly through Ticketmaster, including the VIP Meet & Greet package. But when I arrived, I was told my ticket had "already been scanned" at "Admin." Despite showing my ID, credit card, and proof of purchase, I was accused of selling or transferring it--something I absolutely did not do. The Kia Center staff, including supervisors, and Ticketmaster management treated me as if I were being dishonest. What followed was a humiliating and exhausting ordeal. I had to go through security multiple times, explain my situation repeatedly, and wait over 30 minutes at the box office while holding my child. By the time I was finally verified and escorted to my seat, the show was already halfway over. To make matters worse, this same issue happened to several other guests that day--all of us ADA ticket holders. As a disabled combat veteran, I found this especially disheartening. The lack of preparedness and compassion shown to those of us with accessibility needs was unacceptable. Although we later learned that Kayla Blood wasn't scheduled to appear, my son--who adores her and Sparkle Smash--was still thrilled to be there. But even the post-show VIP Meet & Greet photos, which should have been joyful memories, are painful to look at. As you can imagine, I had teary, puffy eyes from crying, and the photos only bring back the heartbreak of what we went through that day. The only bright spot was the flag signed by all the drivers, which was included with the VIP package. It's a small keepsake from a day that was meant to be magical but ended up being one of the most emotionally difficult experiences I've had at a public event. I reached out to Monster Jam and Feld Entertainment afterward and never received a response. This experience has made me hesitant to attend another event at this venue. I hope future guests--especially those with disabilities--are treated with more care, and that ticketing issues like this are handled with greater compassion and accountability. read more

Whether I am watching Orlando Magic or seeing live music this stadium is always well organized, safe and the staff are always excellent. I forgot my ear plugs to the venue and was able to easily get a replacement set from guest services with no issues at all. More access to water cups or refill stations would be my only feedback, but I realize different venues have different security measures and procedures. My husband and I attended our first Orlando Magic NBA game, and this was also our first visit to the Kia Center -- what an excellent experience! Parking was super easy. We paid in advance and received a QR code for an affiliated lot, which was only about a 2-minute walk from the entrance. Entry was quick and organized -- everyone goes through a metal detector, and bags are checked. Just a heads up: only small clutch-sized bags are allowed unless you bring a clear bag. The staff was incredibly friendly and full of energy, especially since it was the first game of the season. Our seats were great and offered a clear view of the court. There are tons of food and drink options! A few of my favorites were The Salty Donut and the baked potato stand. You'll also find Papa John's, Checkers, a Goya stand with bowls and empanadas, and a 4 Rivers Smokehouse stand serving BBQ. Drinks were great too -- the bartenders were friendly and quick. Went to an Orlando Solar Bears game with my friend and it was so much fun! Not as packed as the Magic games but I loved that there were tons of families there with kids of all ages enjoying the game. Tons of great concession stands serving anything from tacos to pizza to burgers and chicken sandwiches , pop corn and a variety of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. If you get a souvenir cup, you get free soda refills ! There are also retail areas where you can purchase SB apparel and souvenirs . I haven't been to the Kia center since the big name change. It feels like the same place with minor changes. It's been a few years since I came here for a basketball game and I was very impressed. I want to start by saying it's a very beautiful, ginormous venue. Home to the Orlando Magic but they host lots of big name artist. The staff work very hard to keep the place spotless despite the thousands of people. I was amazed with how clean the bathrooms were. The Kia Center is very well equipped with staff. Parking was $20 for the whole event but worth it to have your car in a safe spot with easy walking proximity to concert. Make sure you show up earlier to secure a spot in the garage, otherwise carpooling is smart if you're in close proximity. Security was very easy and seamless. Upon walking in all the staff welcomed us with warm smiles. Inside there are lots of food options and drink stands. Compared to other large venues/ concerts the food and drinks were high cost but standard pricing comparatively. They had some restaurants like 4 Rivers and Papa John's, as well as classic concession foodsuch as burgers, nachos, hot dogs, popcorn and tenders. The food actually looked and smelled pretty delicious. For dietary purposes there were no options for me, so that was disappointing. They should have atleast one healthy stand with gluten free, dairy free or paleo options. This was my first time attending a concert at The Kia center and I was very pleased with my seats in Club C-F, Row 6. The club seats are cushioned and wider with added comfort. The bathrooms and concessions were more empty as well. There was even a drink stand in the club area. The view was great. The sound quality was amazing. I really like how the jumbo screens transitioned between each band member. I was very impressed with the transition time between artist. Leaving the concert was not as bad as expected but I did head out a few minutes earlier. Overall I had a lovely experience at The Kia Center and I look forward to coming back. Something else to mention... bags, backpacks and purses aren't allowed. It say clutches only on the website but I saw lots of girls with small crossbodies. read more

Easy to get to. A close enough walk to nearby dining. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Huge stadium.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The Ticketmaster staff was amazing with helping me out with an issue that occurred with my seats. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I liked that the stage was in the center of the stadium and not up against a wall.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Would go back for another show. And can't forget how friendly the bar staff were at each station I went to. Definitely try their hot pretzels! read more

Kia Center is a sporting and performing arts arena in downtown Orlando, best known as home to NBA's Orlando Magic. I first watched a game here about 15 years ago the first year the arena was open when it was known as the Amway Center. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's still looking very modern and new, with great sightlines and inviting spaces in the public concourses.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I especially enjoyed the Orlando Magic Hall of Fame area, paying tributes to past Orlando Magic players and legends.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] All the employees I encountered were generally very friendly and helpful. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The team store has a great variety of fan gear and souvenirs, and a great throwback NBA Jam arcade machine.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The only deduction would be for the poor quality of concessions; even though there was a decent variety of food options, the several things we tried weren't that good and just boringly average. I wished they'd source better concessions for the amount they charge as it can't possibly be that much more expensive when ordered in bulk. Overall, I had a very fun time at the Orlando Magic game, and look forward to returning to Kia Center again for another game or event. read more

This review is strictly for watching and listening to a concert at this venue; not sporting events. We went to two concerts here in less than a one week span, our first ventures to the Kia Center. I won't bother mentioning the concerts, albeit they were both great. The ingress into the Center went smooth both times, interaction with employees at security, ticket scanning, the ushers and those at the quick service stations were all amicable and professional. The facility itself is very nice and clean overall, including the restrooms. It appeared they did not have enough women's restrooms, as there were large lines stretching way out the door. The men's restrooms usually had a line inside, but it moved quickly (the great thing about men getting the use of urinals I suppose). The prices on drinks were outrageous (even water), as it is in most venues such as this. However, when the prices exceed Disney World prices you know they are really bad! The seats themselves were not totally hateful, but the lack of leg room was daunting; and I am NOT a tall man ( a couple inches shy of 6'). I could not imagine being 6' or taller utilizing those seats, and we did see a few who appeared to be quite uncomfortable. I realize there is absolutely nothing that can be done with this issue, except spending MUCH more money to sit in a suite. Now for the important part - the acoustics! We were in the nosebleed sections for both shows. We were pleasantly surprised how great the acoustics were for both shows! I am not sure if each group of artists had their own people doing the mixing, or if the venue supplies them. Either way, it was fantastic x2. TLDR: wonderful employees, way expensive beverages, clean restrooms, no leg room at the seats outside of suites, and acoustics were fantastic. read more
