Dr. Keyhani was the FIFTH doctor I saw for my issues. She was incredibly honest and transparent about costs and the procedure. I felt like I could trust her. I left the previous four doctors because I felt like they were scamming me. They gave false information and tried to overcharge even though my HMO gave set prices. They also tried to tell me I needed additional procedures. The staff here is also super nice and honest as well. I will continue to come back. read more

Tina Keyhani, DDS - Back to loving life... - Oral Surgeons Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

I had an emergency wisdom tooth pulled today and i do have to say that the dentist and her staff were really professuonal and did an awesome job. The dentist and staff both took the time to answer any and all questions with no hesitation. I had a very good experience there. I would definitly go back to see her at least for an extraction. It was my first time there today. With my experience there i would highly reccommend her for your dental surgeries. read more

Totally unprofessional dentist. Rude. Uncaring. I gave 1 star because Yelp won't let me take away 10 stars. She is the worst dentist. I have had many. Absolutely uncaring! read more

I went here after seeing them advertise $1000 implants. It should be noted that this is for the titanium implant only. It does not include the bone graft necessary in some instances to seat implant (+1000). The crown will be an additional $600 depending on the dentist. Referral needed. I had a less than optimal experience with this practice. First of all the advertising practices are misleading. I spent almost 2 months and many days off work or leaving early and ultimately the procedure was a failure. On 2-3 occasions I was shown into the room only to wait almost 30 mins until I was seen. The doctor denounces traditional dentristy but I eventually opted to get a traditional bridge from my former dentist after paying $1400 for what was essentually an extraction from Dr Keyhani. I just wish they'd Inform patients at the start what percentage of their patients have a successful procedure before investing your time and money only to have a failed procedure. read more

The Dr seems nice.... had a procedure after botched extraction bý another dentist. Dr T removed root tips, tried to repair sinus exposure. There is incredible pain after procedure. I called the office at least 5 times.... with no response..... went to emergency room for pain. I don't understand the lack of follow up... read more

If you like to have a dentist scare the hell out of you go to this dentist. My wife went to her a while back and this dentist came up with a list of all kinds of problems with her teeth. After that we went to 2 other doctors and both said these are unneeded treatments and she has been fine ever since. read more

Be very careful, I had the worst, longtime nightmare dealing with Dr. Keyhani, she placed a dental implant, it failed. I suffered pain for a long time. I asked her numerous times to remove the screw in my jaw bone, she surgically placed, she refused. I had to take her to the dental board and go to a Endontist Specialist, Dr. Maupin (since retired) to have the implant removed, it was extremely loose, causing great pain. The Dental Board in Phoenix gave her a letter of concern, they also made her refund the money I paid her. She brought a lawyer to fight me, I fought on my own. This is while she practiced in Prescott Valley, Arizona on Robert Road, she sinced closed that practice. I am aware of numerous instances, upon which highly regarded Dentists in the Area, heard patient horror stories and would not refer her their patients. Check with the Dental Board in Phoenix. I Do Not Recommend Her. read more

Loved it ! It was fast and easy and comfortable! I had a dentist try to extract one of my teeth in the back . He drilled and pulled for about a hour ! And just to tell me he couldn't do it and just referred me to oral surgeons! He left me in excruciating pain. After spending most of my morning looking for someone to help me fix the mess of my last dentist I actually called them and they got me in 30 min later . I was in by 12 pm put me under by 1 and done by 2 . I swear best people ever ! Thanks so much for the help I highly recommend her ! read more

I went to Dr. Keyhani because my husband went there for surgery and absolutely loved it. The staff was very nice and cheery. With my husband's surgery we waited for what seemed like forever (3-4hours), the reason was due to an emergency surgery she had walk in and she will not rush those because other non emergency patients are in the waiting room. I wouldn't want her rushing mine! We were given the option to reschedule but opted to wait. Now back to my visit. After the X-rays, my husband and I were shown back to a room. Dr. Keyhani came in and remembered us from when my husband was in. This was about 6 months ago. She explained that I have a bad bone disease in my lower jaw and mineral build up on my teeth which is making my body think my own teeth are foreign objects therefore rejecting them. The biggest problem is in the front. She suggested removing the diseased teeth back to the non diseased bone where the bone is strong. This means removing 6 on the bottom and 1 on top. I have diabetes and a heart murmur. She said the bacteria from the bad teeth and bone disease can adversely affect my heart if not taken care of and that I should really have them all out. But she said if I take extra good care of the ones I'll have left, I should be okay. She wouldn't do anything that day because she wants my to have a physical including chest X-ray and an EKG and blood work to make sure I am healthy for surgery. Dr. Keyhani showed me her own implants she has in her mouth. It was great because it was not what I expected. They were just 2 little nubs sticking out. The fact that I would not have even known she had them if she had not shown me, made me feel better. If I couldn't tell, then no one else will know I have them. Afterwards the front office staff came out and sat down with us and explained what procedures needed to be done and how much they were charging. So no surprises. Everything up front, bone grafts, extractions, implants, then the little nubs placed. I just have the get the partial made somewhere else. No problem. It'll be done in 3 phases. Dr Keyhani is a no nonsense, shoot from the hip kind of person. She knows if she leaves any teeth in partially diseased bone, it will eventually need to be removed. Might take years. But cost of the procedure will no doubt go up, will need more time off from work, and another surgery. Why not take care of it now. What she said and showed me made absolute sense. I am so glad I saw her. Would recommend her to anyone. read more

Going to Tina Keyhani will be the worst dental experience of your life. I've spent my entire life going to the dentist and she by far was the most expensive (in the end) and the wait times are excessive to say the least. One time I actually left her office during the middle of an exam, came back an hour and a half later and they didn't even know I had left to go get some fresh air and something to eat. The wait times here are crazy long. And the "quote process" is so complicated at this practice. In fact what initially was quoted as $5,600 ended up costing me $12,000 due to unexpected "bone graphs" and sinus related expenses (which were bogus). Then one day I came in to have one of the implants looked at because it was loose. After waiting 2 hours and being forced to pay a mysterious $740 her staff said was something I owed from a previous visit, Dr. Keyhani said I was putting too much pressure on the side of the implants she did and said it would be another $5,000 to correct the problem. I went to another implant doctor and they simply tightened a screw that was loose for $250. I'm warning you - don't go to this Doctor, all of the nightmare reviews I've read here - I'm sure are true. read more

The staff and Dr. Keyhani were genuinely empathetic to my needs and care. I didn't feel like a number or a dollar amount in line to deposited into her bank account. read more

Dr Tina is unprofessional and blames her patients for staff being untrained. I called on a friday and got a 9am Saturday appointment for tooth extraction that has been bothering me. I gave my insurance info and explained they need to call before 5pm to verify insurance cause the insurance company is closed on weekends. So I get to my 9am Saturday appointment paying 16 each way for uber cause I didnt want to drive after. Only 1 other person in the lobby. The girl at the window, turns out to be the manager also, tells me I can't have the tooth worked on because insurance is not verified. She said the girl who took my appointment is new and didnt write down even who I had insurance with. I offered to show my bank account to see that it's taken out every month. Then the doctor walks up and tells me I need to go somewhere else that it's not a good fit for me there. Dr Tina says she only wants patients that can appreciate her service. Then the doctor goes off saying she got up early thinking she would be treating people that appreciate her services. And that people lucky to have an appointment at this time. And that it's not a good fit. Wow!!!!! Funny how I'm the villain now. I told her it's just working out insurance but I dont care even if I paid for it because I'm in pain and need it done. She said I'm not happy there, its not a good fit and I need to go somewhere else. Crazy how she puts untrained people on the phone to take appointments then if the patients info doesnt get relayed correctly, the patient is thrown out on the street by a doctor who is supposed to be compassionate, and blaming that I'm not the right fit. Never once did raise my voice. Was I supposed to stay in pain, just come back another day when they figure out insurance, and not say anything with their new untrained employees, or it's not a good fit. Crazy! read more

Dr. Keyhani is the BOMB! I had severe anxiety about getting my implant and she helped put me at ease and the whole experience could not have been better. Let me preface this by saying that Dr. Keyhani is very kind, personable, and seemingly competent. I was impressed because it was the first time in a long time that I had seen a provider who was warm and genuinely interested in my concerns. I really liked her. Some of her staff members were very sweet. These are good people. This does not excuse how utterly unprofessional and disorganized this office is. They CONSTANTLY gave me conflicting information before my visit ("Um, I dunno who told you that but...") and when I got there it seemed apparent that they did not really know what was going on. Had my insurance been verified? What was my coverage? They struggled to answer these questions. I waited for at least 45 minutes between my consultation and my surgery even though they scheduled them back to back. Even after my horrific experience during and after oral surgery (which was not at all their fault--I just don't respond well to anesthesia and was vomiting and bleeding profusely), they still failed to call me to follow-up, see how I was doing, and schedule a follow-up appointment. After I discovered an infection in one of my tooth cavities, which was making me feel very ill, I tried calling them to no avail! No one answered, the answering machine didn't even indicate where I had called, they don't have a website, and their old Facebook page and Google list different hours. I will NEVER recommend this office to ANYONE. DO NOT GO HERE. UPDATE: I want to add that it took THREE WEEKS to get through to Dr. Keyhani'a office. At that point I had already been seen by another oral surgeon who took x-rays and said that the reason for my infection and lingering pain was that Dr. Keyhani had left the root of one of my wisdom teeth in. She said that this was not unusual, but was surprised that Dr. Keyhani didn't tell me because I should have expected some possible problems because of it. Oh trust me, Dr. Keyhani didn't tell me anything. Someone actually contacted me through Yelp because of this review to ask me if I had any luck contacting them because she wasn't able to get through to them either. THESE PEOPLE SHOULD GO DOWN FOR MALPRACTICE. I REPEAT, DO NOT GO HERE. read more

I have seen dozens of dentists over the years, and have had dozens of painful experiences. After years of suffering at the hands of dentist I have become terrified of the dentist office. So what can I say about dr. Kehani??? simple AMAZING!!!! My Fiance and I just ADORE HER!!! She is a brilliant surgeon who comes from a family of brilliant doctors. She spent a great deal of time educating me on my teeth, and how they affect my health, as well as detailed information on the different types of dental work I had had done. She was so Honest and upfront about EVERYTHING. Her COMPASSION is unbelievable. She knows the minute she walks into the room how you are doing. she pays attention to YOU the patient. She pays attention to the signals you give, even the non verbal ones. Yesterday I was scheduled for an appointment. She walked into the room, and without me saying a word she knew I was under distress (I had lost a loved one) and that I was in no condition to do the procedure. She CARED only bout me and my well being. She is absolutely NOT ABOUT MONEY ever!!! She did not charge me for the time slot I took. I have seen her several times for different procedures. I have no insurance and am disabled. She gave me a HUGE DISCOUNT on the cost of all my procedures. When she does do a procedure on me she spends a great deal of time fluffy pillows, and rolling blankets to ensure I was comfortable before proceeding with the procedure. I have NEVER had a doctor take the time to care about my comfort like Dr. Kehani has. Her is the thing...if you want a dr. that is going to blow smoke up your you know what, and tell you all sorts of fancy stuff that you don t understand, and charge you an arm and leg for things you don t need, then don t come see her. If you want a SUPER PROFESSIONAL who is going to be upfront, and HONEST and tell you the TRUTH about cost, and what works and what is a waste, then this your your woman!!! ANd yes... I say WOMAN! My fiance has said on many occasions that she should TEACH because all doctors should be like her. REAL and TRUTHFUL, and not about the dollar. As far as her office it is VERY CLEAN and very sweet! and full of sweet comforts like wonderful cards and art work. The office staff is all SUPER KIND and FRIENDLY and all calls are promptly returned. If you are waiting it is because she is giving another patient the same COMPASSION, and CARING, and COMPLETE ATTENTION that she will give you when you are in her office. .I personally find a strong intelligent woman to be the perfect doctor for me. Sadly...i do have one complaint....and that is that she isn t my Primary Care Physician. I always have a reason to see my physician, unfortunately once my teeth are done... I won t get to see her anymore :( And that is the only disappointment. read more

i have never done this before but i have to say that i wanted to share my experience with everyone who want to go to this dentist. For a long time long I have been looking for a dentist with great experience and also good price. I was driving one day , and I saw sign for Dental implant $1250, and i was so happy said to my self OMG wow , my husband can afford it , anyhow we made an appointment and went to see Dr Tina keyhani. The staff were very nice , and i give them 5 star but the bad part was that they made us wait 3 hours, so we had no choice my husband suggest that we should continue wait and waited. After 3 hours the staff came and took us to one of the room and give us bottles of water and they apologized for the delay...anyhow we waited another full hour and I was like OMG this is unreal , is she for real , does she know that we have been waiting for hours. Finally after hours of waiting she came to hour room she had a dusty/dirty black scarabs, and she said "I'm sorry i will be with you in few minutes" , she disappeared for 40 minutes , and my husband and I we very tired. So finally and she came and said hi and told us that she was sorry she was running very late . (So the worse news yet to come). Dr Tina told us that her consultation will take 2/3 hours , we were shocked , and begin to think something was not right with her , she was either on drug or either she was not normal, anyhow she ask us to go to the next room , mean while she asked her staff if the next door /room was ready , the staff said no not yet so she told us till the next room is ready let me tell about my background a little bit . OMG i said to my self . She explained everything that she learned in dental school/her experiences, and her father , her mom, family history, about her being so smart , and will educated. Anyhow she took an X-Rays form my tooth and told us that she will charge us, and we said ok . We were guided to next room nothing really different from the first room except there was some dental demos ., and she wanted to teach us and educate us what she learned in dental school...lollll... Finally back to main part it was time to answer our questions, and tell us what she had in mind , She told us that she need to remove all my tooth , she said " your tooth looks ok but in order to prevent future problems that MIGHT cost us it will be the best to remove all my tooth and she suggested if we dont have the money we can pay for extraction and than when we have money we can come for implant, I asked her so I will have no tooth at all she said " if you like to have danture you can pay for it and than i will put implant when you are ready , and at the mean time you can save your bone by removing all your tooth." I started to have tears in my eyes , my husband was panicking and I was ready to run out crying. GET READY FOR WORST NEWS NEXT OMG SHE IS EVEN MORE SCARY After she noticed that I had tears in my eyes and she realized that I was not coming back , and she wanted to show us its ok not to have teeth , and she showed us the worst thing ever that i still have night mares. She said "ok look at me now" she put her finger in to her mouth and removed her tooth/Dentures , she was wearing denture , i was shocked , a women being in her 40s , and removing all her teeth, for no apparent reason , and may be future problem?why? and thinking OMG why , why, and all of a sudden she look like 100 years old, and she smiled , no teeth at all , I asked her doctor why , why did you remove all your tooth , she said" to prevented from having bad tooth in future" , I was shaking , her assistant noticed that i wanted to run out was ready to vomit, my husband face turned red and he was frozen and shocked by experiencing such seen . I asked her so doctor is that ok to walk around with out denture ,she looked at me she said" yes why not , you can come back to get your implant when you have money but at least your mouth will be safer from future getting sick ."I realized we are dealing with the most crazy dentist ever, and i run out and my husband asked her to give him the price for everything she said that he has to wait , i was standing out side crying and felt awful , sad and I felt that all my teeth are sick. I was ready to pass out .Any how 2 days went by no news , we just wanted to know how much she would charge us Finally we received an email with er quote it was over $ 22000, I was not surprised because i knew she was all about greed, money making , crook , lier. and just a dentist that didn't care about human beings but making money. read more

Dr. Keyhani is the BEST!! I just saw her for the second time and she is definitely the best around! Since a young age I have been terrified of dentist, which has lead to failing teeth and having to get extractions and I am only 36! I still had fears of the dentist and especially the surgeom, however I can say that now, I have found someone who has made me feel very comfortable and the fear is gone! I was referred to Dr. Keyhani through my dentist and was told that she offered great prices. Because of my fear, I needed to be sedated and I called around every where and without dental insurance I was convinced that I was going to have to live with the pain until I could afford to go. I was surprised when I called Dr. Keyhani s office and they told me their prices, I was shocked, they were half the price of anywhere else I had called!! I was also informed of payment plans. I thought, this is the place I have been needing! I made an appointment and the rest is history! The staff is great and Dr. Keyhani was even better!! She is kind, smart, efficient in what she does and she is a real person! She feels that people should be able to afford dental care unlike most surgeons that are so highly priced. I have now had 4 teeth pulled and one bone graph for an implant to be placed in, in the next couple of months. I would highly recommend Dr. Keyhani to anyone...she has changed my life. There is no reason to suffer with Dr. Keyhani around. Please try her office out, you will not be disappointed!! Written by a very pleased patient! ! Thanks Dr. Keyhani!! read more
