Reposting : So I just want to share something that happened to me. Very few times an act of kindness hits me in my soul . Anyway, I was headed to Harrisburg after work for the weekend . Got 30 miles down 81 then Boom! My tire blows out. I get out open my trunk. No spare! You gotta be kiddin me. So I called Acura assistance . They basically told me to fend for myself or take a cab 100 miles to the nearest Acura cause of Covid. So I went online and found a tow nearby. Late on a Friday I was basically screwed but tried anyway. Guy/ girl said " it's late but I'll come get you." Whew saved. So about 15 min later the nicest dude comes rollin up , hooked up my car and towed me to his garage. On the way there he saw my scrubs and asked if I was in healthcare." Yea I'm a ped nurse" . Got to the garage , couple guys came out , put car up and put on a new tire. Done. Pulled out my card cringin about the price that's comin and he said " no way!" I'm like what's going on? 4 other dudes, prob tired from a hard days work came out. Looked at me and said " i want to thank you for all you do and Everything is on the house, we won't accept a penny." It was surreal . I found myself with no brakes in my 1999 Audi A8 and limped off of I 81 into Hazleton Pa. After getting "it'll be days before we can get to it" from the auto dealers there, tim was suggested. Tim was just to tow me some 30 miles away to an Audi dealer so I could wait those few days. But that's not what happened. We head back to Tim's shop. He puts the Audi up on his lift to find that one of the new rear brake calipers was missing 2 bolts. Bolts that were omitted when these new calipers were installed just one week earlier. Tim had the proper tools to reset the caliper. He had the bolts that were missing. Tim had the mineral oil brake fluid used in this car. He had to call in the new brake pads and they were there in 30 min. After 2 - 3 hours of meeting Tim the audi was all set. My lunch date with my daughter in MD turned into a dinner date instead. But what made my finding Tim providential is that the reason for the trip was to drop off the Audi for my daughter's use. Cost? I tipped him 50% so that he doesn't starve. Life Saver. Fully loaded box truck started stalling on the highway near him. Pulled off at a turkey hill (Gas station) at around 7:00. We tried to find a repair, or at least a truck rental service to get us back on the road and we would deal with our truck when we got back with no luck, most places were closed. Then all of a sudden, as we were about to pack up and go home since continuing our 9 hour trip was out of the question, Tim pulls up and asks us if we needed help. He fixed our truck, and go us back on the road in an hour. I can not express how thankful we are to him and how obviously reliable and trustworthy Tim is. If it were any other repair man they could have gouged us and fixed things that didn't even need it. All I know is I wish he was a little closer to home because there is no way I wouldn't get all of my repairs done here. Highly Recommended. read more

May 30, 2023 - Tim's Towing in Hazleton, PA provided excellent automotive services when our truck broken down near exit 141 on Route 81 and we needed a quick tow late at night and repairs done. He responded within 15 minutes and diagnosed the possible issue on the spot. He is a very knowledgeable mechanic in automotive repair, honest and works hard to take care of his customer's needs. It turned out that our alternator went bad and caused our truck to stall out. He took the time to not only fix the main problem but looked at a couple other issues I reported having with my F150, such as the AC not cooling properly and the fact that I had to jump my truck recently - battery tested OK. He gave us a peace of mind that all was okay and we finished our journey. The best part is that his cost was very reasonable! Thank you, Tim, for the outstanding service! read more

Our RV lost all battery power, which meant no generator, no ability to close slides, retract jacks, etc. We were stuck. No self fixes were working, and it was Sunday of a holiday weekend. Reached Tim, explained our situation and location. He knew right where we were, and said he would be out as soon as he finished his current call. He arrived very promptly, knew just what to do, and had us up and running within 15 minutes. Very courteous and seemed pleased to be of help. We felt his rate was well below what we expected on a Holiday weekend call, and told him so. He refused our offer to pay more, saying he was already out and about. Gave us a few tips on RV battery care, and was on his way with some homemade cookies (which he did not refuse!!) He was a lifesaver today for us. Today while towing my camper to Florida my tire fell off on 81 and I was frantically looking for a garage that was open due to the holiday. After calling numerous shops with no answer, or being told they couldn't help me I found Tim's online. I called and he let me know to come right down and he'd get it taken care of. While I was on my way there he was already moving other vehicles around and plowing to make space for my truck and camper. As soon as I arrived Tim took me right in and began working instantly. I can't say enough good things about this guy, and honestly can't believe that he has even a single bad review. After spending just a few hours with him I felt like we were old friends. He truly went above and beyond to get me back on the road as soon as possible. I would highly recommend Tim's garage to anybody. read more

Tim and his crew went above and beyond to help me get back on the road. I broke down on I 81 on a bitter cold January afternoon. Tim called around and found the parts needed, then spent the next 5 hours doing the repair (the Volkswagen site said this was a 6 hour repair job at a dealer). They drive me to a local hotel where I could wait in the lobby in comfort. The job was finished about 10 pm and I was able to drive home to upstate NY that night. I would recommend Tim and his company 1,000 times over! I was just in Hazleton for a weekend event and as I was packing my car to leave, I packed the keys in the trunk and got locked out (which is horrific in and of itself but 100 times worse when your spare set of keys is 6 hrs away)! Tim took my call on a Sunday morning and was to my rescue within moments. He was able to unlock my car door and get me on the road in no time flat. My friend and I had a windshield wiper problem in April. yes, it was pouring out. We are from NH and were headed to dog shows in Harrisburg with 4 dogs! Tim came to solve our problem and then took us to the gas station , pumped our fuel and showed us how to get back on the interstate! This scumbag took my boat for repairs. He said he would have it done in 2 weeks. He never fixed it and always had an excuse. He broke his arm. Well, now I cannot get in touch with him. He stole my boat. This guy is a thief and a scumbag. Never ever do business with this guy. I cannot believe PA gives this guy a state towing license.. It is a license to steal. I was taken to this place by a very helpful AAA driver on what has to be the coldest night of 2012 after normal working hours. Within minutes my Jeep was fixed and ready to go. You can't find this service anywhere, if you're a highway breakdown like me and get taken there, you are fortunate. If you're a local Hazelton resident and not going to this guy, you're a moron.
