One of the best meals I've had in a while. Starter salad…read morewith balsamic vinegar dressing cucumber, onion, carrots. Chicken Marsala, tender chicken breast, mushroom sauce to die for, rich and satisfying. Wild rice and some al dente green beans made for an excellent combination . Fresh toasted Pita bread served to the table, so you didn't waste any of the sauce. Mrs D had the Pita Falafel with house made potato salad. Hot crunchy falafel with tazikki, cucumber onion on a fresh pita. Potatoe salad had a curry flavor and a heavy coating of paprika, really good. We were the only patrons on a early Saturday night, I'm coming back to sample more from the chef, delicious.

We came early (5:30 on a Friday) and it was quiet at first. The wine list still had some gaps, but we found a Val Du Vino GSM we enjoy. The flaming cheese appetizer was delicious, though they didn't give us enough of a heads-up before lighting it--would've loved a chance to catch the moment. Still, it's a fun and tasty start with pita. Service felt a bit rushed early on, with multiple prompts to order entrées before our app even arrived, so we slowed things down ourselves. We split a gyro salad next, which was large and very good--honestly could've been enough with the appetizer. The chicken marsala lived up to the hype with a great sauce, but the sides (green beans and rice pilaf) were underwhelming. The beans were too sweet for me, and the pilaf lacked flavor--plain basmati rice would've been better to soak up the sauce. Overall, a good meal and a much better experience. We'll be back sooner next time.

This was the only food location open before our flight and I was happy with everything!…read more Ordering at the kiosk was easy. If you prefer to talk to someone they are able to help you out as well. Sandwiches are good size for the price and add ons are not very expensive. My boyfriend didn't understand the kiosk but the workers asked him if he wanted any additional items added to his sandwich (they saw no veggies/toppings so they just wanted to double check.) That was very nice of them to double check with him! Not very busy so they were quick with our orders. A lot of places to sit. Very calm and quiet at this time of nice. We either met the owners or managers and they were really friendly! Never been to a West Coast Sourdough but I'm coming again! :)

This sandwich shop fulfilled both of those criteria when I stopped by for a chicken pesto sandwich. Their West Coast sauce tasted A1. It's unfortunate that I have to bump the rating from 5 stars down to 3 for the low value. The sandwiches in their photos appear significantly more filled up than in reality. For my photo, I took an angle that makes it look more puffed up, and yet the sandwich still looks kind of miserable. Maybe a $10-11 sandwich after tax, but certainly not $15. I recently discovered that this brand has tons of franchises around Sac. Maybe this one just suffers from the colloquial "airport tax". I'd return to this location if they sized up their sandwiches.
