But sometimes the tables are sticky or the floor is sticky. Lastnight my beef Philly cheesesteak was dry. It tasted like gryo meat unseasoned tough dry thinly chopped meat. The chicken Philly was flavorful. However, it didn't reheat good. Cheap thin shredded ice burg lettuce. The baklava wasnt as tasty, either. Usually it has pastashio on top along wit a sweet syrup..no crushed nuts on top n no sweet syrup. Still buttery but not as tasty. I will try the chopped beef Philly next time. But I fear sadly its time for me to loosen them. I spent $50 and it was mehhh at best. Still friendly customer service, tho.

My sandwich was very good! $10 is pretty fair for what I got. I loved the sauce, the meat was also really good. The tater salad was AMAZING! I'd get a large of it everytime I eat there if this was a local place for me. The meal was a solid 9/10 If you're in Memphis and you want some good BBQ made with heart and soul, then you should try Elwood's. The only thing missing from my meal that would've completed it for me was some hot buttery cornbread. I'll certainly be back to try their ribs and other foods!

I payed $12.49 plus 1.00$ for a drink to receive a mediocre burger with the quality of high school lunch. Owner attitude was rude when I explained how the quality of the burger wasn't good and he told me he will remember my face and he can't satisfy me when I started asking about other items on the menu. I understand some places have specialties that they specialize in, but for him to totally dismiss answering any of my questions about the menu, I will definitely not recommend this place or return even if able.

Tommy's Burger provides some really good, traditional diner style burgers. The burgers are…read morehumongous and definitely worth the $10-12 price tag. Obviously, they taste good too. Amazing? I'd say they're really good based on the size it comes in. The Philly Cheesesteak was also really good too. My biggest complaint would definitely be the onion rings. Both the batter and onions seemed low quality. It seems like they use a fried catfish style batter for the onion rings which didn't work for us. Plus, the onions were very thick, which affects the outcome of a good onion ring for obvious reasons. Too bad. But big shout out to the servers here. They were all very sweet and helpful. Would definitely recommend giving Tommy's a try, minus the onion rings.
