Dr Scott has done a great job with my son who is a wrestler. He fixed his ear and made it look normal again.

I would not recommend this place and will never return…read more I was overcharged for services I did not request or need. I went in specifically because my primary care doctor referred me due to frequent nosebleeds. Instead of focusing on that issue, the doctor moved me from room to room, checked unrelated areas like my ears, and then charged me for those exams without explanation or consent. The entire visit lasted less than 10 minutes, and I left with nothing more than a cream for my nose, which has not worked at all. Somehow, that brief visit resulted in a $630.40 bill, which feels completely unjustified. I called several times to get it adjusted and they just gaveme the run around. I don't understand why unnecessary exams were performed or added to the bill. This experience felt rushed, disorganized, and extremely overpriced. If you're looking for honest care and transparent billing, I strongly suggest going elsewhere.

He is smart, thorough, approachable, and considerate. My teen also needed to see an audiologist and he was able to fit her in to the audiologist's schedule right then and there. Otherwise, it could have taken weeks or months. He thought it was important and didn't want my teen to have to miss more time off from high school. I highly recommend!

I'm two weeks out from the surgery and really looking forward to the positive health impacts this will have. Surgery is still surgery but wasn't miserable and the modern techniques he uses made it as easy as I think a surgery can be. He's a bouncing energetic guy but a great surgeon. Also, his scheduling Admin, Barb is wonderful. Professional, effective but a kind human

I was born with a deviated septum and have always had nose and sinus issues as a result. I was…read morereferred to Dr. Ford by my primary doctor and I'm so glad she did. I went in for a consult which was quick but the most eye opening one that I've had in my life. I've been trying to solve for this issue for many years as an adult and have always felt like I've gotten the run around. Not Dr. Ford. He did a scope and let me know what was wrong and what my options were. I chose surgery. After the consult, I worked with Barb, who was great help in answering my billing questions and just general questions of what the surgery and recovery would be like. She was just a pleasure to work with. On the day of my surgery, Dr. Ford checked in with me before and explained what would happen and answered my questions. The procedure was quick and efficient and everything went great. 6 days after my surgery, I went to his Walnut Creek office and had the stints removed. Again, another quick appointment and he answered all of my remaining recovery questions. I would highly recommend him for any ENT issues and let everyone know how patient and kind he and his office are.

This office did not verify whether labs were in-network for my insurance, and the office manager is…read moreextremely difficult to reach and does not return calls reliably. I went in for a sinus infection culture over 6 months ago, and the sample was sent to an out-of-network lab. This resulted in a large charge that, after speaking with my insurance, I should not have been responsible for. The situation escalated to the point where the lab sent the bill to collections. Because of this experience, I would not return to this provider. Patients have to be able to trust that office staff are knowledgeable about insurance networks and that they will communicate clearly if issues arise. That did not happen here. Overall, this was an unfortunate experience, and I was dissatisfied with both the handling of my care and the lack of follow-up.

I struggle with this review because I don't have negative things to say about Dr. Fong herself, or…read moreher staff. All people who treated me were kind and professional. But I am frustrated with two things leading to my poor review. One is the hour+ long wait time I had upon my arrival even though I showed up 10 minutes early as requested, which is frustrating when the only appointment availabilities are during working hours. The second frustration I had was the office's inability to provide me a an estimate for how much the visit would cost, despite having asked several times. I am a fairly basic patient - first time visit with an endoscopy, yet no one could tell me what the before-insurance estimate would be. Even a rough guess. The whole visit was only 20 minutes or so. I came in with a runny nose and they looked up for a total of three minutes to tell me I probably just had allergies. I left, unknowingly, with a $1,124 bill! I understand everyone has different insurance plans. I know my own coverage quite well. If someone had told me the cost pre-insurance, I could have done the math and gladly shopped for cheaper specialists. But to wait an hour just to have someone tell me I basically have allergies and then hand me a $1,100 bill is a great summation of why the healthcare system is broken in America and how specialists take advantage of people just trying to stay healthy. You have been warned: if you make a ton of dough or have a great insurance plan, Dr. Fong could be good for you. But for the rest of working class America who doesn't want to see half their paycheck vanish with a 3-minute endoscopy, keep shopping.
