I couldn't be happier to have Harris Teeter so close to our home. Driving to Charlotte for a decent…read moreselection became tiresome. Bonus points that there is a Starbucks inside. However, the smaller shopping carts are not equipped with a cup holder like their bigger counterpart. Although the smaller shopping carts are preferred by a lot of people, the small carts often seem to not find their way back inside to store. Most of the time I see them being held hostage in the cart return holding area by the piles of bigger carts due to their resentment for our obvious favoritism of the small carts. I really think the employees of Harris Teeter should get involved. All carts matter, bring them both inside. #bigisbeautiful #allsizesmatter #equality

On May 11, 2024 a two tier half naked cake was ordered for our dessert table. The original flavor…read morewas chocolate-?. On May 18, because that cake flavor wasn't popular or desirable, a call was made to the bakery to change the flavor. The order edit was confirmed. On May 31, the cake was picked up at 11:20 AM and arrived to the venue. While the cake was pretty, and a personal topper was added to make it even prettier, regretfully it was not the flavor that we ordered. Contrary to the "baker's" confirmation, the edit/change was not made. This was not observed until the cake was cut. While the other desserts, from other companies were demolished, 3/4 of this Harris Teeter 2 tier chocolate something flavor cake was untouched. What a waste of money! Of course there was nothing to do at that point. We called 2 weeks later and was put on hold for 13minutes after sharing our concern then eventually disconnected. Since a contact name (Diana) and number was left with the order we were hoping that at the very least someone would call back. Nothing! What a disappointing low-grade experience.

The employees don't seem to know what they are doing and management doesn't seem even in the…read moreslightest to care to help them out. While the store itself is rather clean, I think the problem lies with management and the lack of competency to hire people who know what they are doing and the lack of work ethic to show those people how to do the job and instead opting for sitting them down in front of a computer screen and having them watch "modules" that do a poor job at telling them how to do the job, (I know this because I used to work there for three months). I saw an employee try to show a customer who lacked the brain cells to pay for his stuff, how to work the card machine and the store manager Ben was yelling at her when she was just trying to do her job and it was holding up the line. Keep in mind the store manager didn't even take the time to help his people out even after passing by like four times while this is happening. I've also heard and experienced for myself that the management there doesn't care for people with mental disabilities who want to work there and even go as far as to try to set those mentally disabled people up to get fired by putting them in scenarios that trigger them. Sometimes they even straight up fire those disabled people for no reason and make up excuses so they don't have to give them special treatment, (I have autism and DID and they did this to me and even called me retarded straight to my face saying "We don't need retards causing trouble at our store." which I was extremely confused by and upset by at the same time). Don't shop here, the people here are either stuck up or lack the brain cells to help you or even a mixture of both. (When I say lack the brain cells I mean they are Neurotypical and stupid)

It's a fairly new store right behind Concord Mills on the AMC Theater side and as far as gas stations go, this one is very well kept and clean. The fuel islands are all in working order and fairly fast as far as fueling goes and the trash cans nearby are emptied often. It can be somewhat of a hassle getting out of here if you're trying to turn left back towards I-485 but there is a traffic leading out of Concord Mills that makes it a bit easier. The inside of the store has a good selection of convenience food and drink items as well as your usual general merchandise necessities. For some reason, it seems like Coke/Pepsi is always on sale at these places (when you're buying 2 liters or 6/12 packs, not the convenience 20oz sized). I'm always finding them around the 25 cent per can price so it's always worth going inside to see. Attached to the gas station is a Krispy Krunchy Chicken, a Louisiana favorite that I unfortunately haven't tried yet. Oddly enough, they also serve Pizza Hut and Mooresville Ice Cream, so something for everyone I guess. The staff is very friendly, especially compared to the average gas station experience, so it's always nice to see a smiling face when I walk inside. Between this and a clean, well kept store, they keep me coming back time and time again.
