If I could give this place a one I would if I could give the police a 5 I would do so as well, they were very understanding and very polite, did a great job at trying to help and also get the situation from getting out of hand. My nephew and my son went there to get gas they paid for 11.00 worth. After my nephew got in the car to leave he noticed he didn't have his phone so he went back and checked the store, my son called me to tell me my nephew left his phone in the store he just got and that it was stolen. I told my nephew to go back in and ask the man was he a manager and he said yes and then he asked him could he pull the cameras and see if someone picked up his phone in there and he yelled NO! So I said wait a minute why did he just yell at you and he said idk so I said ask him again while I'm still on the phone, he said sir I just want to see can you pull the cameras my brand new phone is missing, he said NO GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY STORE!!!!!! (Me) what wowwwwwww really did he just tell u to get tf out of his store, my nephew yes mam, then he said I'm going to call the police on you. I told him leave and I'll be up there in about 35 minutes. I left home drove all the way up there and the clerk Tony had not called the police so I pulled to a gas pump and called myself, I was livid. By the time they got there my nephew got there and he used his lil brothers phone to pull up the location. At the time the phone was still saying it was located at that address but when we left and came back it said 200-214 Armstrong so the man must have thrown the phone in a bush somewhere, it would not give us the precise location because it was dead! It was in the vicinity we just have no idea where because of the off location it gives when dead. The police spoke with the general manager and she said the cameras were broken. That's why he felt so comfy taking the phone talking junk and running back and forth to his car! He lied and said he never said he was a manager and he lied and said he didn't say any of the other stuff or curse when I was on the phone and I heard him. We parked up the street and started trying to pin point the phone and he called the police out again, when he pulled up I told him we wasn't thinking about dude, I told him I handle business with pen and paper not with violence, I let him know we were just out there looking thru trash cans and stuff. He went and talked to the man and left. We didn't find my nephews phone. I know the man Tony behind the clerks desk stole it because he straight blanked for no reason, either that or he doesn't care fit ppl of another origin. Either way it was very unprofessional as a clerk, these young men are respectful, responsible 18 years old and humble. So the way he came at him can't be looked over! These kind of ppl should not be working in any store and I hope by the time I get done talking to corporate he will be fired. We shall see but that will literally let me know the character of that company as well. If they don't fire him I will spread this on all social platforms to boycott that store! You never know when this could happen to one of your family members and for what reason? His behavior made him look very guilty. When I'm that way I'll never go to that station again even tho I'm not surprised, shell is the same company that allowed and Obama doll to be hanging up with a noise on its neck in one of the stores! Just complete and utter non-sense. We can't let ppl who work at these places get away with blatant disrespect to their customers, we have to put the pen to the paper and be heard! Shame shame shame. I tried to call up there to get the DM's info but he never answered. That's ok I'll be right in Gastonia bright and early to speak with someone. And they are not practicing any kind of COVID tactics there either, but I'm not sure if the law changed to not wear mask or not, I had mine on when I went there but Tony the clerk didn't. FYI: if you all see Tony please let him know that receding hair line in the front and the hair growing around it needs to go, it's not a good look!
