I was so excited to find Lisa B and came in at 2:56 and met Lisa and sat down. I heard her tell a young lady that i was her appt and i was early Neither Lisa or the young lady looked at me or said anything directly to me, Then another nail technician came out to the desk and lisa chatted with her about her schedule- the young lady said she was done at 6 and was going to el Camino in Ft Lauderdale and Lisa said oh you are not working tomorrow so you won't get a hard time from Jess? Not sure of the name By 3:09 i got up to leave and Lisa said oh i told you she was just finishing with another customer "No you did not ". I said and instead of apologizing to me she turned to a customer to back up her integrity and I was insulted and that Lisa got defensive instead of dismissing my true experience. I told her so and my voice gets louder when Im upset and she thrn told me to leave. Lisa has a strong following and will not miss my business. It is unfortunate when someone does not recognize a paying customer's experience. read more

It is very strange that this establishment only accepts payment by cash. It is positioned as a spa like environment but operating in a different way. I had to cancel an appointment due to work. When trying to reschedule, I was told I must pay cash upfront because I cancelled an appt and was late before. I was only at this spa two times, ever. The second time, I was running 5 mins behind and was given grief upon entering. I don't understand what happened or why I'm being treated like someone who can't be trusted. It's unheard of to ask for upfront cash payment at a salon. Just sharing because I really liked Ally and Jennifer and it's a shame not to be able to support them. read more

Lisa B and Company is a great Day Spa! There's not one negative comment I can make in this review. I've had different treatments from every technician there. Lucy and Lisa B both have done perfect manicure/ pedicures for me. I'm hooked on "Dazzle Dry". Once you have Dazzle Dry you won't want to have any other type. Dazzle Dry is a system of 4 quick steps. Once the top coat is put on your nails, they are Dry in FIVE MINUTES, and I've had mine stay on for almost two weeks! I recently had a "European Facial" from Jennifer. Karla is the tech who did my nails. She was friendly and professional and gave me the Dazzle Dry mani. It's been 13 days and I do NOT HAVE ONE CHIP ON ANY OF MY NAILS! It was the first time I tried the Dazzle polish and it has lasted longer than any gel mani I've ever received. I went back the next day to have my toes done in the same polish and they, too, still look great! Lisa B and her team of technicians are of the highest quality of personality and expertise. I was a walk in client looking to soak off my Shellac that had been on for almost 3 weeks! Yikes! I was greeted immediately by a woman sitting at the front desk in the naturally bright salon with a great smile and welcoming demeanor. Lisa walked up from the back to greet me as well, and they were able to fit me in for a half an hour. "Whatever you need," Lisa said. I was offered a beverage, and I chose a hot tea, which despite the south Florida weather, was the right choice for relaxation. Lisa carefully wrapped my fingers to soak off the Shellac (a technique that I had never seen before - always had to dip my fingers in a bowl of acetone) and we chatted about life, love, and travel while I sat and enjoyed people watching out the large window to 2nd avenue. By my surprise, Lisa was able to do a FULL manicure for me with a new product she now carries, Dazzle Dry, a nail polish that boasts a 2 week staying power, B vitamins and proteins, and the ability to make your nails grow stronger and more resilient. I was impressed not only by the shine of the polish, but it's ability to stay put throughout my hands on professions (bar tending and esthetics). Also, historically my nails tend to peel and break. With this polish, my nails were actually moisturized and mended! Crazy! Needless to say, I will be back. My only baby complaint (which is completely a matter of personal taste) was the music that they play in the salon. It was a tad outdated, and being 24 years old, I guess I didn't appreciate the disco era as much as the next person. It was fun, anyway, and there were a couple of songs I playfully jammed out to. Lisa B is a great place to get your nails done! I recently got a pedicure with all the stops included!! Neck wrap, great massaging chair, leg and foot scrub, massage, and heels pumiced to perfection. If you forget to wear sandals (like me) they dress your toes out with disposable sandals and toe separators. The environment is calming and Lisa and her workers are great. For you aestheticians, the bar has been raised way high. Jennifer is kind, caring and really takes her time. I had never had a Lash Lift before, so of course, I was nervous about the process of having anything done to my eye area. I had the most amazing and relaxing experience at Lisa B's!! I was in town for a wedding staying at the Hyatt so this place was great because of the location, it is across from the hotel. I didn't have an appointment so I was pleasantly surprised that they took me right away. The spa smelled amazing and I was offered a variety of beverages including wine. My mani and pedi was excellent, the color selection was perfect for me and I was given an amazing neck wrap. It was a wonderful experience and I could tell that they treated all of their customers with care and attention.
