So the service never lived up to the 'as advertised' 100mbps, to begin with. The equipment apparently was leased not owned and therefore needed to be returned in 2023 when we moved. As far as I can recall, I'm pretty certain it was taken to the office personally but they apparently never checked it in appropriately. For that I was charged $277 dollars for not returning their obsolete outdated equipment we used since 2012. Fast Forward 14 months later not a word from them until recently a collection agency has been relentless in calling to get their $277 dollars. I closed out the bill in April 2023 and it wasn't until this month 2024 that they decided to send me to a collection agency that is sure to ruin my great credit (800's). What a fantastic joke of a company to operate like this! Beware people! Companies like this aren't concerned with keeping a happy customer or even providing a good service. They just want your money and will destroy you with retaliatory fine print debt collections!!! read more

The only cable service in my area and they are terrible! My wife and I moved to the area last year and found out we were forced to go with Time Warner if we wanted cable. They have old DVR boxes that are literally gigantic monstrosities (mine cannot even sit on my entertainment shelf without sticking over the edge 3 inches)! I actually had to switch to one of their older boxes just to get a DVR that worked correctly (The "new ones" they offer don't record shit)! I can barely watch any Football games in this area. Time Warner does not have the NFL network channel and they do not offer any NFL sports packages. Their only answer: "you're SOL"! The package deal they were advertising with a year of free showtime was "NOT AVAILABLE IN MY AREA"!! WTF!? I'm so sick of bad service.... these corporations have lost their minds!! 4 hour wait to just drop off equipment? That's ridiculous. This place needs a better customer service plan.

Today heading to time warner, I was anxious to get my internet and cable started. As I entered, I noticed this was not going to go as planned. They only had 2 staff employees to assist a line going out the door. On top of that, parking was a bit inconvenient for the amount of customers they had. The location in General was a bit odd to me. I went in after work, around 4:30 p.m. Took a number and waited for my turn. It was actually fine waiting because they had all the windows staffed. Also, while I waited it was great to see how they treated people. Every person was treated with respect, the staff listed to what they needed, made helpful suggestions, and too great care of all the customers. I left the office with a smile. It's difficult even giving them one star. This company has some of the worst customer service I have ever seen. They make you wait two weeks for an install appointment date. When the time comes, install techs do not honor their own appointment window. Customer service reps are beyond not helpful. No attempt to resolve issues. Totally unsatisfied. read more

If I could I would give this place zero stars! It's one of the only places that offers internet which is a hit or miss as far as speed and connectivity. The manager really needs to better manager the schedule to provide a better customer experience. Having only 3 people working and a wait of 69 people on a Friday is ridiculous! Well.....given the only other option, which requires a contract, we went with cable. But I'm already rethinking that choice. The guy who installed the service is apparently about as dumb as a stone, and he didn't call before he came (we set it up for a phone call 30 minutes before he was supposed to show up) so we missed him. On the second try he didn't call again, but we were luckily home. Then Time Warner didn't give us the "triple play" advertised price but tried to charge $40 more per month, plus $50 for installation after telling us installation was going to be $9.99. Oh.....and I'm still trying to work out the DVR issue--it was supposed to be free for a year. They gave me a run-around regarding that, so that will be another phone call. read more

TWC has been the worse POS internet service I ever had. Constatly resetting modem, local channels image looks like its snowing 7/24 and that is IF you can see it at all. On the digital channels side you will see channels come and go when TWC feels like it. customer service over the phone is also the works piece of sh#t I ever have to dealt with. My TWC email did not work for 2 years until called every day for a month, someone got tired of me calling daily to b$tch about it and they fixed it. All in all it is the worse POS for your hard earned dollars. I am done and canceled and removed all services... At least I have 149 dollars a month that I can enjoy instead of calling the angrily every day...... read more

Can you give negative stars? I have ordered both internet and television service from Time Warner Cable. I say I have ordered and pay for those services,but they don't deliver on any level. Not the price they promised, not the channels they promised and not the internet speed. If that wasn't enough insult I never received the $200 visa card promised despite numerous promises on their part and numerous calls on my part. In the year or so that I have endured the service I have had to have the service people out more than a half dozen times. Each time even though I have to pay the bill but I have to wait a week for them to show up. I have repeatedly had to have the modem reauthorized, never works. Took me 6 months to get the extender they promised. They will promised everything but deliver nothing. If you do become fooled by the ads and try for service my advice to you is to record the conversation so that later you can prove what was said because they will tell you anything. STAY AWAY if you want product promised, price and honesty! read more
