I entrusted 3 of my late Father's beloved antique clocks to Chris Martin for repair 5 MONTHS ago. WORST MISTAKE EVER!!!!! These clocks are of **tremendous sentimental value** to me and my family. After 5 months of sitting in his garage, he FINALLY opened one, declaring that it was too corroded to repair. The likely culprit being the proximity of our family home to the ocean for over 50 years, and the other 2 clocks were likely the same. Although very disappointed, I understood. However, this so-called "professional" wasted 5 MONTHS before looking at ONE?!? Seriously?!? He told me it would cost more to repair them than they were worth. Again, I understand this. Upon picking them up, 2 were still intact, the other was disassembled in a hundred pieces on the work station. He pointed out the corrosion on many of the pieces and then tossed that piece into the pile, declaring it "JUNK," without reassembling my precious clock. The insensitivity of this man was incomprehensible. I gathered up the pieces, praying I had indeed, all of the pieces and fled. Think twice before entrusting your precious clocks to such a person. read more
