I have done business with Pedro for many years, and was pleased to find he landed here after his last shop inside Sears closed (when the store closed). It's difficult to find someone with his skills anymore. Most places send their work out, now, to nobody knows where. Here, you interact directly with the person that will be repairing your watch or clock, just like you'd expect. This time around, I had dropped one of my favorite watches on the hard floor and I thought it was a goner! Pedro fixed it quickly, and reasonably. Recommend highly this Bradenton company. They regulated my Swiss automatic 26-jewel watch on-site while I waited. The owner, Pedro Gonzalez, showed me a graph of the before and after timekeeping. (It lost 17 seconds/day before, 0 seconds/day after.) This software apparently is also capable of listening to the sound of the watch and determining whether it needs overhaul or lubricating. (Mine didn't as it's only 2 years old.) All of this for a really reasonable price. One other local company wanted much more to do the same thing. Another told me to package up the watch, ship it to California, and there would be a minimum charge of $395! The company is located at 1301 53rd Av. W, just near the NE corner of SR-70 and US 41. Great with an old clock. I have a Cuckoo clock from Germany from the late 1960's it was my dads and has not run since the early 1980s. Took it to Pedro Gonzalez and it was running and working beautifully in just matter of days. He is a class act, friendly and reasonably priced for the skill. read more

I took my wife's Fossil watch to the Fossil store, but they don't do repairs at their shop, it all gets mailed out. However, before I mailed it I thought I would take it to a local repair shop to see if it would be worth to be repairs. Within minutes not only did he test it, but he repaired it. As most men, I refuse to accept that there is ANYTHING that I can't repair. I knew that I could disassemble, clean, oil and reassemble my Howard Miller wall clock. Two months later, I sheepishly brought the box of parts to Pedro, knowing that he would laugh at me and point me toward the door. Not only did he accept the challenge willingly, but the price that he charged me for fixing up my mistake...was extremely reasonable. When the repaired clock developed a little problem, Pedro professionally took it back and fixed the glitch. Pedro would not accept any more payment for the extra work. It is unusual and refreshing to find a true professional, these days. Pedro will get all of my watch and clock business from now on.
