I've been holding off on this review for 5 years. But, that's how long I've had this horrible tattoo on me; for 5 years now. 2 attempts to cover it up by other artists. 7 tattoo removal sessions. And 1 therapy sessions. I know it may sound silly, but this is permanently on my body. And 5 years later I'm still trying to get it off of me. The amount of time, pain, and money I've been through over this. As a fellow artist, and a person who previously had tattoos before coming in... stepping in there was one of my biggest regrets. I won't name this person but I still see their name pop up in reviews. I really hope you did better to those who came after me. read more

Had a wonderful experience with Colin, my husband set up the appointments for us. He had called and got back to back appointments for us with a consultation a couple days before. We arrived, spoke to Colin about what we wanted and soon after he was ready. I went first, the area we went to was very clean, organized and artistic. I loved the drawings and swag around the shop, it was a super fun place for sure. The entire shop is extremely clean and very professional. Colin did a paw print tattoo, touched up two other tatted paw prints so three for me and three for my husband. One that he touched up was done by someone else and although the work was solid I wasn't overly pleased with it. Colin was able to make this tattoo absolutely shine and just beautiful. I didn't make it a habit to show the tattoo but no I feel like I am very pleased to show it off. The tattoos are paw prints of my dogs that have passed so they are very important to me and Colin helped me to always remember them in a beautiful, meaningful way. Highly recommend! read more

I can't recommend this shop enough! It is very clean, professional, and welcoming. I did a walk in for my small tattoo with Jereme. He was so welcoming and helpful. It was very busy in the shop and he had to keep checking people in but he still made sure that he was paying attention to me too. It was my first tattoo and he was very nice about it and made me feel comfortable. He was very particular about making sure the placement was perfect. He listened to what I wanted and gave helpful guidance for the placement on the ankle and the design, but he didn't make me feel pressured to change anything. I felt listened to, and I felt that he shared his expertise to help make my tattoo even better. The actual tattooing only took about two minutes, and it turned out great! read more

This shop is great, super clean, the guys are professional and do amazing work. Colin, Giacamo, Jereme, and Jason all have their "specialties" and are more than willing to work with you to make your tattoo a great experience. These guys are super honest with their abilities (they won't do something they aren't comfortable with) and strive for excellence. This isn't a shop that is just trying to bang out as many tattoos as they can, they all spend time to make sure they understand what their clients want and take all factors into consideration (skin tones, placement on the body, etc...) I refer all of my friends and family to these guys, they are talented artists, respectable, and fun to work with on your tattoo. Prices are fair and competitive (no one wants a cheap tattoo, if you aren't sure about that, just google "cover up tattoos") and the work is quality. I've had work done by Colin, Giacamo, and will be seeing Jason pretty soon, and plan on booking with Jereme in the future. They do walk-ins but also book up super quickly, so be sure to go in person to schedule your appointment! Love these guys, and you will too! read more

If I didn't trust Jereme with tattooing me, I wouldn't have gone back 3 times! He knows what will look good, and he won't tattoo anything else. The shop itself is clean and has that tattoo smell I love. Each artist has their own strengths, and their website can give you a look at their highlighted work. This can give you a clue ahead of time on who you may want to do your tattoo. When I got a tattoo about 2 years ago, Jereme was actually able to squeeze me in on the same day. He gave me a call and an hour later I had fresh ink. I look forward to working with him again in the future! read more

did try to use this business. At first they were great, as soon as I venmoed them the down payment they were very helpful, I was scheduled for an appointment in four months. I understand they are busy, and I was more than willing to wait. Well, my time comes and I get an appointment confirmation email, I respond to this email accepting the appointment. I know they have a no guest policy, and I completely understand, but I simply asked if I could bring my wife (completely understanding that the answer would probably be no). But, without a reasonable response, my appointment was cancelled. In fairness, my original deposit was refunded, but it seemed like a very rash response to a simple question. read more

They do good tats, but want as much money as possible for it. Service is awful and employees are EXTREMELY rude. I got a lip tattoo here, and 1 letter of the word I got is almost all the way faded and it's been less than a week. When I call back to ask about possible pricing for a retouch, I was spoken to as if I was stupid and treated with minimal respect. It was one thing to deny me of a retouch on one single letter for less than 60$, but was another story when I was spoken to as if that was an outrageous question. Friends had recommended Time & Tide when I was looking for tattoo artists in Bloomington. I checked out the shop and loved the environment. It's very clean and modern and artsy. I was thinking about a flowery design with delicate lines, but Jereme said he does more traditional tattoos so he recommended that I come back to meet with Jason and go over design ideas. I've gotten tattoos at several places in Bloomington and Time & Tide is by far the best. Great tattoos for very good prices. I got probably my largest tattoo done there and not only was the quality better, but it was cheaper than any of my other smaller tattoos. Atmosphere is friendly and comfortable and the artists are super cool. I got a really good tattoo there, but Giacamo definitely takes advantage of younger clients who may not understand what pricing is appropriate. A year ago I lost about $180 to 20 minute prep and 15 mins of getting tatted. Very little ink for what I was charged, and I had no idea at the time. read more

On vacation, visiting old friends and happened upon Tiime and Tide. Checked with them about walkins, had a pretty simple design in mind and Jason was very receptive and available to schedule us in on the spot! Did an awesome job and was very nice and comforting with my wife who was a little nervous. They overcharged me, messed up my simple line art tattoo, and when i asked for the lines to be redone on the stencil a few times, he told me basically I'l get what i get. Also wouldnt put it where i wanted, because he said the words would blow out, and once i talked to some friends after, they told me that was bullshit, and that a experienced artist would have been able to do something like that, so obviously he wasnt good. I knew nothing about tattoos since it was my first one, otherwise i wouldn't have dealt with his rudeness. however, the two guys that helped me when i walked in were very nice and helpful, so thank you to you both. The other artists im sure were fine though, everyone was nice except him, he just acted like he didnt care about my tattoo at all. read more
