I ordered the wrong part for my bike which is an error on my part and I sent an email stating what I had done right after I placed the order. I don't feel right even giving them 1 star - that is too much credit where definitely not deserved. Matt Shine took advantage of me when I was 16 years old, by taking my money for a product that he had lied about having in stock, and then blocking my phone number. 2 weeks went by with no tracking number, so I called their shop and was politely assured that it would ship immediately. More time went by without any updates, so I tried calling back, just to realize that my phone number had been blocked. I assumed maybe the line was just busy, and gave him the benefit of the doubt. I continued trying to call each day, with the same results - nothing - for weeks. Finally, after a couple months of no tracking # and no communication whatsoever, I left them a bad review on the internet. Well, that sure changed things.. All of a sudden, my phone number was unblocked and Matt was blowing up my phone, begging me to take down the review. At this point, he was finally honest in the fact that he did not and never had the product, and that he had lied about the shipping. He ends up sending me an entirely different product than what I had ordered, but I just chalked up my losses and was grateful to finally be able to ride my bike again.. Flash forward 10 years, and Matt Shine is now calling me out by name in his responses to his other unsatisfied customers in his Google Reviews!! Dude intentionally took advantage of and scammed a 16 year old, and then held a personal grudge against that 16 year old for 10+ years.. Over 1 single bicycle tire. That should tell you everything you need to know about Matt Shine and his integrity as a human being. Let alone a business owner. I would avoid Time2Shine like the plague. Avoid Time 2 Shine unless you can physically walk into the store and buy what you need. It's been over 6 months since I placed my order, and I still have not received the frame I paid for. I was told multiple times it was "shipping tomorrow" - but tomorrow never comes. I would have been completely understanding if I'd simply been told the item was unavailable and offered a refund. Instead, I've been strung along for half a year. This experience has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I strongly recommend avoiding this business if you're not local and can't shop in person. read more

Time2shine stated a bike was in stock ready to ship next day, nothing shipped within 3 days, I contacted and he changed status to its on the way from the manufacture. I contacted the manufacture and they stated a ETA on shipments was 2 months away. I asked for a refund which he stated he would process; a week goes by and I did not see the refund, I contacted time2shine and he states it looks like the refund didn't go through and he would give me a call to go over some numbers which he never did. I disputed the fraudulent charge with my card company, the case was open for two months and time2shine never responded to the dispute. Overall time2shine is horrible and not worth doing business with. read more

This is my second order from Time2Shine and I am certain that I could say once again Matt has provided great Customer service and ships items out quick! He has not failed to go above and beyond especially after my purchase. Every time I call he has always picked up the phone and is professional. I made a mistakr by ordering the wrong tire size and thankfully I called before it shipped out. Matt was able help out and switched one of my tires out for a different size since they were the same type. Also, he let me know that one of my items was arriving Tuesday so it might be a slight delay but the package still arrived on time. He has earned my business! I have read previous negative comments about this company with similar issues but I have not experienced any of the types of those complaints. read more

Fool me once same on you, fool me twice shame on me. A little over a year ago I placed an order for a complete bike for my kid and parts to build a bike for myself. The bike arrived since it was drop shipped from the manufacture, but all the parts for the other build were either wrong or didn't show up. It was a headache to get the owner to cough up a refund for what was wrong or wasn't there. Fast forward a year and I find myself looking for a new frame since the prior one I bought was the wrong size which I didn't find out until months later. I placed an order for a frame since Time2shine was the only retailer with it "in stock." Frame never showed up and after months of emailing I still have yet to receive a refund. Beware of this place, the owner likes to claim he has items which you won't receive and then ghosts you when it time to pay up. read more

There are true scammers. The worst of the worst. I mean they might ship some of there orders but for me and 1000's of others who have written complaints, as soon as you submit your order it will immediately pull funds from your bank account before the order is shipped. This happened to me and I sent my bank after them but then learned nothing would happen to them, my band took the loss since that's their policy. So yeah, it's obvious what their intent is. As a top 10 National rider for the last decade, I've seen jerseys every so often and it's just sad to see such scam artists scamming over and over and then vanishing to then resurface again. The fact that they even have the balls to show there faces at events is just mind-blowing to me. They pray for kids who save up and try to buy parts from them. I can't believe they are still in business. My hopes are that they suffer some consequences for their actions for the 1000's of ripped-off people and worst of all kids who reported them or posted their complaints. But that's why they keep doing it. Nothing happens. Just know you've been warned. And that there are plenty of shops online that do the right thing are great to buy from. Time2Shine however is not one of them. So you've been warned, and should look else where. read more

I can not recommend avoiding this place enough, Placed an order, sent the money via Visa and was charged, all great. 2 months of basically silence, try contacting business for tracking info or anything, nothing. Only after leaving a google review does the owner use my personal information to contact me to harass and threaten me to take my review down. Matt even offers the refund as long as i remove my review, he used homophobic slurs and brags about how much money he has. He finally refunded me clearly showing they had never any intentions of shipping the parts i orderded months ago. Googling this place shows many stories very similar to mine, the owner of this business is a bully. read more

Theres a reason these guys have 1 star, and its not because they do good business. They drop ship and if they dont have the part they'll send you whatever random one they have lying around. Be prepared when you let him know you have the wrong item because Matt will get upset at you. If I could give zero stars I would. Same thing as the previous review, promises your order will be in by specific date then blames it on vendor, shipping, etc. when your order doesn't arrive. Have been waiting MONTHS with empty promises from Matt every time we ask about the status of our order. Have a friend who asked for a refund when Matt couldn't fulfill their order, is now saying he refunded the money when the bank is saying no refund has been placed. Awful, AWFUL experience and just hurting the kids. Wish he'd just be honest and say if can't fulfill the orders or refund money. I REALLY hope this review impacts Time2Shine and they go out of business. They is a fraudulent business that needs to be exposed. Deliver or give me my money back, simple. read more

In the end we received an email advising that Time2Shine had cancelled our order and they were issuing a refund. After following up with our bank, we were told that the transaction ID provided by Matt was not legit and the money is still yet to appear in our account. Unacceptable and fraudulent dealings.
