Timberpro provide a very high quality Irish wood pellet delivered in bulk deliveries of three tonnes or more. The pellet certainly beats its principle rivals Balcas both in terms of price and quality.
Timberpro will deliver so long as there is a secure camlock for their delivery truck to pump the delivery through allowing the customer some scope in terms of storage. Balcas and other suppliers insist on an officially approved silo and will not deliver otherwise. I was able to pump my delivery into tonne bags in my carport/shed simply by rigging a camlock to the entrance and filling the bags individually via a four metre length of slurry pipe while wearing a good quality face/mouth mask and goggles. Officially approved silo storage units became a later requirement of the Greenerhomes grant scheme. The truth is there's more merit to storing pellets in tonne bags as silos can become damp and augers clogged. Delivery straight into a concealed silo also prevents the customer inspecting their delivery for debris - pieces of plastic or metal - which could destroy the auger and the boiler apart from the fact that seeing is believing where quality is concerned. I'll post a link to a video with tips on how to rig your own camlock later.
Timberpro's pressurised container delivery truck is a very impressive piece of kit which ensures pellets remain top quality from point of manufacture to delivery. The staff are very obliging from office to delivery men and I can safely say I found no basis for complaint. They've an impressive website plus a Facebook page as follows:
