If you have to drive all the way to Slane while there isn't a concert on, sure it may as well be to get a bargain.
I spent a long time trying to find counter tops for my kitchen. I realise this is a really boring task and most people would be happy after two or three visits to pick their choice. But no; that, of course, is not my style. I always have a very particular thing in mind, which often is good but often an annoyance in trying to source the exact right thing.
Anyway, I finally found what I wanted. Silestone. Engineered granite. Very sexy. Very pretty. Very expensive. I've previously found that through a good ring around, you can save yourself a pretty penny. If you happen to ring these guys for example, they may offer you something that's the same as Silestone, but without the brand name, that is nearly half the price. They may send you photos, talk with you over the phone, and spend half an hour with you in person discussing your neurotic decision between one white and another.
My only down points, though not major, would be that they're really hard to find with no signage off the little road, and they can be a little slow replying to emails.
