We wanted one with a "living edge" This week we requested the mantle be delivered to our job site. But we were told they couldn't find the mantle but that they would deliver an equivilant. The one they delieved appeared to be one made of pine. Upon seeing it, both my wife and I said it was unacceptable and not remotely what we ordered. I returned the mantle to Springfield Reclaimed. The owner insisted that is what we ordered. (Sorry, but we KNOW what we ordered.) He agreed to custom make an oak piece and deliver it by Friday morning. Our contractor was waiting for it Friday morning but it was never delivered. Repeated phone calls to the business were not returned. Finally, that afternoon, someone was sent to the store to pick up what they had promised to deliver. We are pleased with the workmanship of the mantle. But Springfield Reclaimed needs to work on: communication, inventory management and delivery.
