Love this place, I had been to the original location down in Orting and loved it. Was excited to see when they came up to South Hill. The last 2 times we have been there we have been served by Crystal and she has been amazing. Always quick on the drink refills, always honest with her opinion of menu choices and very attentive. Frankly food 9/10 Service 9/10 Atmosphere 8/10. If I had to give one area of improvement for a new restaurant the place doesn't sparkle, its always clean but you can tell its not the original occupant of that building. The salad bar seems oddly placed and there is a lot of open floor space that isn't quite usable for more tables but seems like too much space for just a walkway. read more

The waitress was so welcoming and accommodating our family! My son loved watching the train go around and drawing on the train paper - didn't realize the theme before coming in but a bonus as he loves trains. The food was amazing and the portions perfect! I had a Chicken Fettuccine which had amazing charbroiled chicken breast and great rich and creamy alfredo sauce. My son had a grilled cheese and fruit cup and the waitress offered to have his food come out first to keep the toddler happy - such nice offer which led to a relaxed lunch. From the reviews it looks like they were just experienceing newly opened business problems. We ordered the Chicken Strips feast... OMG Real mashed potatoes and gravy, real macaroni and cheese... Monster homemade biscuits..I ordered a side of potato salad with the meal. Needless to say we will be ordering again. When we can eat inside hopefully soon we plan on going to the resteraunt. This was our first visit. It's Valentine's Day it's relatively busy, we were greeted and sat right away. All of the employees were friendly and looked happy. We ordered our beverages and meals, and we received our food in a timely manner. My husband's food was a little cold in areas, we expected them to throw it in the microwave and send it back out but no- The chef remade his whole meal and comp'd it. While his meal was being remade we ate my dinner, which was delicious. I ordered the chicken and waffles and everything was yummy! If you're driving by on Meridian and questioning what type of restaurant this is, give it a try. However, when I order food to be delivered I expect it to be good, this was a simple order, grilled chicken and steak fries! Well, I get over cooked, dry chicken I honestly was chocking on the first bite and tossed! the steak fries were missing- I ended up with tots which I can NOT stand! tossed. Damn it, threw away money! It was our first time there. Young kid at the counter greeted us and sat us quickly. Got our menus, have a good selection of food. The service could really use some help. But maybe the young woman was just having an off day. I ordered fish and tater tots, asked for tarter, never was brought to table we had to go up and ask for it. Fish was ok, nothing special but nothing too awful. Bf ordered chicken strips and waffles, that was actually really good, he ordered a beer and finished and never came back to ask if he wanted another or even a water. Time for bill and the waitress brings us the wrong bill and then disappears. Have to go find someone to find her to get us the correct bill. Must have came on a good morning because we had great food and service! Came in about 8:30am and was seated right away. Our waitress was Ashley and she was absolutely awesome! Always made sure everything was okay and had enough coffee. Food came out delicious and great portions. As the morning went on it did get busier and was a wait but did good at getting them in without waiting long. Came in again that evening for dinner (haha) and it was busy but we were seated right away. Our waitress was different and she was slower and it took awhile to get our order to be taken but service was good and food was more than enough! Evenings seem to get very busy however it's not a super big place and people tend to hang out for awhile and come in big groups. Definitely liked this location better than the Orting one. I LOVE Tim's Kitchen in Orting. This location is NOT the same. Very disappointing. We've given them 3 tries and will not do it again. Service was incredibly slow. One waitress is unacceptable! She finally got help from one more that came in, they were nice and apologetic for the wait. However, it was definitely a WAIT for everything. This place is so cute! I previously have went to the other location in sorting, and it was just as cute. This resteraunt features a train track running along the ceiling, which is so cute for kids. The menu has many different options to choose from, and it took us a while to pick what we wanted. Our server was very attentive and gave us menu suggestions. I really wanted to show the naysayers that this place was not 2 stars...but I honestly cannot. A coworker and I came in for lunch. She got a burger and I got the gravy fried chicken with Mac n cheese and fries (because carbs, am I right?) The wait was fine, although she complained of the utensils not being 100% clean. Once our waitress delivered our plates, she turned to me and said, "please check your food because I put in the order as fried chicken but it looks like fried steak to me" and stood there waiting for me to, you know, do her job? My coworker and I looked at each other in bewilderment and I cut the meat to see that, yes, it was the CORRECT order. Our waitress contently scattered away. How unprofessional to ask your paying customer to please check that the meat isn't wrong?!? Apart from that, the mystery meat was fine, the fries were average and so was the Mac. Here's the kicker...later that afternoon, I got the sharpest, most painful stomachache I've had in a while. So bad was it, that I drove myself to the ER from work. I checked in with my coworker and she did say her stomach felt upset after eating there. A separate coworker told me that she spent a whole weekend in the bathroom after eating there! What are they using to make their surprise food???
