Tim Miller was recommended to me by a friend who told me of his excellent work . I contacted Tim Miller and he came out to see my home office that was a open concept layout with no doors . I described to Tim exactly what I wanted him create for this open office by installing French Doors Everything was going to have to be newly framed out and constructed in this quite large wall opening . We wanted to have built and framed out two French Double Paned doors with all the hardware and trimming being needed as no doors previously existed . Tim gave us a very fair quote and we accepted . We sent him a down pymt for the materials and he got started ordering the doors . On the scheduled date Tim arrived on time and started the process which took about 5 1/2 hours to be completed , he was very contentious and followed all covid -19 protocols masking etc ! Tim Miller is a true master craftsman and did a beautiful job , the doors and all construction came out beautiful and balanced and precise with attention to details . We are so happy with the finished product and recently had them painted to complete Tim's work . Tim was highly recommended by a family member and now I can see why. He installed a new laundry room door that's not a standard size so Tim had me order a book door that's a little larger and he cut it down to fit (saving time and money over ordering a custom size). The new door feels very solid and seals better than the old, especially along the bottom with the new threshold he also installed. Tim also replaced our front door and did great work there too. He's communicative and left a perfectly clean workspace. With quality of work, he's more of a craftsman/artist and clearly takes pride in what he does. I called Tim Miller Installations because my mother has been wanting to fix our security door at the front of their home for years. I described my mother's dilemma and he recommended Lowe's or Home Depot mentioning that it was $100 less than the service he provides. What I really admired was that he was providing honest cost saving options for my family. It's rare to have a company recommend a service outside their own business but he was definitely understanding when I asked about ways I could save. So, I followed up with an additional question, "how was their (Home Depot/Lowe's) quality of work?" He mentioned that he wasn't sure of how the quality of work of their current installers was like and offered that he could take a look at the door to see what would need to be done. Not being very savvy in the realm of door installation, I really appreciated his offer. After looking at the door, he told my mother that he would be able to fix it. He ended up fixing the door and my mother was incredibly happy with his professionalism and workmanship. Yesterday he came to our home in Temecula and installed a complete new back door on our garage... with new hardware, deadbolt lock installation, new threshold and weatherstripping... It is perfect! Job #2....We have you double custom doors for our front entry..... which required new hardware. This was no simple task. We were switching over to a new deadbolt system. The hardware had been special ordered and could NOT be returned! He somehow miraculously managed to get all of this done perfectly... Drilling through an astragal... adding a small piece of wood to perfect the installation... He swept up all the wood chips from two locations on my property. This guy does AMAZING work!! I had him install all new interior doors in my house and all i can say is he did a damn good job. He did so good that i went ahead and bought a new sliding exterior door and had him install that too. Sure enough, I could not have been more pleased with the install on that as well. This work happened a few years back and I forgot to review it on yelp. I remembered a few weeks back when I called him to have him install 2 exterior doors. Unfortunately, he was booked up by at least a month so I was forced to use someone else. Needless to say, I looked at the work Tim did versus these other guys and I regret not waiting the month. All in all, this guy is GOOD so plan on him being booked out for awhile but he's worth waiting on if you have that option! read more

I wanted my French door to operate properly. This may sound like a basic desire, but I have had two sets in the past 10 years with great disappointment. There were gaps where you could see outside light and feel a draft and they were not closing properly without setting the lock. Knowing what I wanted, Tim provided guidance in selection. He was responsive to inquiries and very professional from start to finish, providing a written estimate and following up with a written receipt. The doors work beautifully! There are no gaps, the locks work beautifully and the doors stay shut when pulled close, sounds basic, but when you did not have it to start it is awesome when done right! Tim also took the time to make sure the existing (reused) hardware worked smoothly and efficiently. This Guy Is A Pro! My wife and I hired Tim Miller to remove a leaky front door and install a new door and frame. Tim stopped by our house on a Sunday as he is backed up with work. He showed up on time and displayed a very professional yet personable personality. He reviewed the project, answered our questions and offered suggestions and incite on door types (fiberglass, Steel, Wood). Tim was up front in saying he could manage the entire project or we could save some money by picking up the door and hardware ourselves.. We chose the latter. Time wrote down the type of door and frame we were interested in as well as the specific measurements Required. My wife and I gathered the info we needed from Home Depot. We spent a few days online and off looking and comparing. Tim suggested we look strongly at Fiberglass door as we have a heavy exposure to rain (destroyed our previous wood door). The word "Fiberglass" sounded sort of cheap to me. However we were surprised at the quality and appearance. You can not tell the difference between it and wood. It takes about two weeks to order. We had pre scheduled with Tim (He highly in demand and is between 3 and 6 weeks out). Time showed up on the appointed day and on time. His workmanship is top drawer. Neat and clean. Pleasant to chat with. This is a guy who really enjoys what he does and it shows. It is now some months later and we could not be happier. We highly recommend Tim Miller without reservation.
