This was my first home-buying experience, and it went really smoothly thanks to Tim. I had worked with another realtor before deciding to switch to Tim and it turned out it was the right choice. He is a great communicator; he kept me informed about key milestones before closing (he even created a set of instructional videos what I should expect to come along the way), and effectively and respectively communicated with all the people during the journey, including seller agent, inspectors, loan officers, and escrow staff. I was referred to Tim Lynch by my sister whom was more than happy with the outcome of her business with Tim. It's difficult but let me try and sum up my experience with Tim. My wife and I were looking for a home in Pierce County and Tim was more than willing to take on the job even though he is located in Thurston County. Tim sent daily updates on new listings that really matched our criteria. When we wanted to look at a home all we had to do is text Tim and with in minutes we had a meeting time scheduled. When we wanted to put in an offer we merely had to say the word and Tim had the documents ready for electronic signature with in 30 minutes (never any errors). If you're like my wife and I then you will be very frustrated and even discouraged at times with this extremely hot sellers market right now. Tim broke the news 3 times to us that we got out bid and didn't get the home we wanted. He waited an appropriate amount of time and then had us lace up our boots and get back on the horse. He was very sympathetic when needed and very ambitious when needed. Now comes the real kicker. Tim is very low pressure and truly wants his customer to get what's best for them. Tim and I looked at about 12 houses and then this happened... Tim and I went to look at a home that was by far the best one yet and it had only been on the market for 4 hours. Without even verbalizing it Tim saw the quality in the home as did I. We were lucky enough to meet the great owner of this home and when doing so Tim really went the extra mile. Tim stayed and had a real honest visit with the owner and I so that we could all get to know each other. Hands down there is no doubt that Tim closed this deal for my wife and I. Tim is great at communicating and making others feel comfortable. He nailed it with the owners. As soon as Tim and I hit the front step on the way out of the home after our tour I said "I want this house". Tim hit the ground running. With Tim's genuine and trustworthy opinion we made the most solid offer we could. Our offer ended up being out bid once again. Tim called that evening to break the news. Then he said "but they took our offer anyway"! I guarantee that if Tim and I didn't get to meet the owner and if Tim was not such a great guy then we would not have gotten our home. Tim was 100% all the way through the entire process. He was always, always, always available and never rushed or bothered. He knew great financing officers and communications between all parties were seamless because of Tim. He gave us a very personal house worming gift and really showed excitement in our new home. My daughter and son-in-law are relocating to JBLM. They were living in Georgia for 3 years, and they are currently in Virginia, so I was sent to Washington to look around to figure out where they might want to live. My daughter had been checking Gig Harbor on the internet and felt that might be where they wanted to move. I flew up there, searching for what was a safe area, and a place that they would like to live, and possibly call home after he gets out of the Army. (Keep in mind they have a 14 month old and a baby on the way), so they are absolutely looking for something safe. I checked Gig Harbor with a realtor that their lending company had referred. (This ended up not being a great fit). I checked out some rentals just to make sure that was also an option. I headed out towards JBLM to see how far away it was from Gig Harbor, and then I drove to Olympia to check for possible rentals. While I was in Olympia my daughter sent me to a few houses that were for sale, that looked great, so I got on Yelp looking for a realtor that might be able to show me houses that day. (keep in mind I was leaving from Seatac at 9pm) Yelp led me to Tim ... who immediately adjusted what he was doing and we went out on a very quick search for homes. Here's the thing: I needed Tim's advice, honesty and input on the neighborhoods and homes we were touring. Tim understood my concerns, and we would face time with my daughter and son-in-law at each home. I immediately trusted Tim's input and professionalism. We found a home in Olympia that they were going to put an offer in, and I got a quick bite to eat with Tim after spending well over 5 hours with him. I get in my car and start driving to the airport, and I am panicked, because I realize that my daughter and son-in-law would really prefer to be in Gig Harbor. Tim was understanding, but the connection was made. A home popped up a few days later in Gig Harbor, and in his car he trekked over there and checked it out, sent videos, researched the property, and they are now in escrow.
