We paid over $20k to this "business" and after a month of being repeatedly up-charged and lied to,…read morewe still don't have a completed fence and the parts that are "finished" are not done properly and wobble all over the place. Tony and his crew came out to start this job on July 27 and told us it would be a 3-4day job. We've listened to every excuse from 'he doesn't work in the heat' to it's because he's 'using this job to train his new guys and didn't bring an experienced crew' to him repeatedly complaining about the commute to get here and how he has to rent a truck every day because he doesn't have one. He came here himself to assess the property before taking the job so he was well aware of the commute and the fact that he doesn't own a truck. Every other day we were told it'll be finished and he either doesn't show up or rolls in around noon and surprise, doesn't have enough time in the day to get the job done. We've been double charged for materials that we already paid for and charged hundreds for his own personal extra 'delivery fees' for picking up concrete that he forgot about. He lied about this until we straight out called him out on cost not adding up. The original agreement was that we would pay for materials at cost plus his labor and we were told we would receive receipts for the materials. Despite having this in writing in at least 5 different conversations, he has kept making excuses not to show us the receipts and now flat out refuses to show them after finally admitting that he added his own up charge to the materials as well. He told us he didn't know what 'at cost' meant and that his papers are scattered all over his place and he doesn't keep receipts. Our fence is still not finished and the materials we have paid for are still not all here. After ignoring us all week and disconnecting his phone number, Tony finally showed up at our house yesterday and blames all of these issues on him having "a lot of personal problems" and the fact that he is a new business and doesnt know what he's doing. He acknowledged that the job has not been done correctly and every single fence post will need to be pulled out and reset. He did not have anything left from the money we already paid him and wanted to re set the posts using just dirt instead of getting new concrete. At this point we have terminated the job. Tony refuses to give us the materials we already paid for. We had to have the police come out to our property and now have to go to court against Tony to resolve this. In the mean time we are out 20k and still no usable fence. Save yourself the time, money, and stress and stay far away from this company

I was supplying the new legs myself which was metal to replace the original metal legs on the cabinet. They received the pictures of the cabinet and contacted me and they told me the cost would be between $450.00 to $500.00. I asked them why so much money, they told me because it a heavy cabinet. Anyway I hired a carpenter to replace the legs. Fact check--Carpenter was able to lift the cabinet by himself. He said the cabinet only weighed about 15 to 20 lbs. Fact check---Took less than a hour to replace the old legs with new legs my new metal legs are lot more sturdy than the old ones. Fact check---Total costs was only $150.00 Before you hire a handyman on yelp get 3 to 5 quotes from different handyman. From…read morethe start, Walter Palacio and his crew were beyond professional as well as transparent in the work being done. Any questions I had, Walter explained and answered them, and always went the extra mile to make certain i understood and calmed any and all anxieties that are common for a homeowner to have when they decide to go all-in on a project of this caliber. Walter always gave me options for the work. He'd ask to see any quotes i received from other plumbers, insulation guys, etc, just to see if he could get one of his pro's to beat the price. He saved me thousands on plumbers and even got me the option to replace my entire roof while he had his crew putting on the addition's roof at a minimal cost. His framers, foundation pros and anyone that would show up to do work were all punctual and worked harder than any ive ever seen. Their work ethic is 2nd to none! Gabby (his framer) was helpful to take care of any structure issues he saw as a potential problem, adding support in places where he thought he needed it, and taking the time to explain why. Mark, his foundation man, was meticulous and detail-oriented with his craft. Finally, his plumber, "Fish", followed suit and not only gave me options for just about everything, he would always explain everything along that way and made himself accessible via phone or text if there were any questions or issues. Walter Palacio and Palacio constriction is a company i would recommend to anyone who wants a contractor who is honest, fair and hard-working for any project they might be planning. Do yourself a favor and call Walter 1st. You'll save time and energy, and get straight-shooting feedback and options.
