The inside is pretty neat in the seating area. However, when we started to order drinks, they were out of the first two things we wanted...at 11:00... I ended up going with the house blend coffee, and I actually had to throw it out after drinking half of it, it was that bad. Just bitter and undrinkable. I had the group I was with try it too, and they agreed it was bad. To get to the bathroom in the back of the building, you had to walk around trash on the floor and multiple mouse traps. I know it's impossible to avoid mice, but it definitely just kind of throws you off when you have to make sure not to step on a trap. Needless to say, I would probably look for another place unfortunately.

On a long drive from Columbus, OH to northern Virginia, I took a pit stop here for a caffeine break in mid-June 2025. Lots of pluses to this cafe. First, I very much enjoyed the large Cafe Americano with two splashes of whole milk. Can't comment on the food items, but the coffee is great here. Second, it's easy to find street parking next to Mugshots or about a block away near the Heritage Port Park entrance if you're here on a weekday. Third, the service was very friendly and pleasant. And finally, the interior of the cafe is cozy with the fun theme of mugshots. You can find lots of celebrity mugshots posted on the walls and tables. Overall, I very much enjoyed lingering in the cafe and relaxing a bit before resuming the drive on I-70 East. I would definitely return again for a coffee break in downtown Wheeling, WV.

They have a jar with various drinks on pieces of paper, and you can pick one at random to be made if you are looking for something new or want a surprise!
