Never once have they gotten our order right. We always order something simple like a coffee a donut and there is always something incorrect or they just don't give it to us. Its convenient so we keep going but at this point we've had more wrong orders than correct and someone needs to know about it. On our way home from Wheeling we decided to stop at Tim Hortons for two reasons. One neither of us have ever been there and two I was in need of some morning coffee. The place was packed. Long lines stretched to the door. We probably waited 15 minutes just in line before ordering. We weren't in a huge hurry so I was being patient. I got a hot coffee to drink there and a cold to go. Coffee is always good. Their hot chocolate is my absolutely favorite. I have always loved their all of their food. The donuts aren't the world's greatest, but they're pretty good. Unfortunately it's always the slowest and most disorganized service. Today was the worst- I'm very understanding when it's busy, but I was the only person there and three employees were on their phones for about 12 minutes while I waited for food. I had a bit of fun finding this place. The Wheeling area is a bit up and down, and there is a river flowing through it, and a different state on either side. I've been to a few Tim Horton shops and they're usually good, but sometimes, you have to prod the people, and other stores just have naturally perky, friendly, helpful people. This was in-between. I ordered a smoked ham-and-swiss panini (again!) and an iced tea. One of the two behind the counter recommended I get a large because they were only $0.99. I said okay and it came to less than I usually pay--somewhere above $6 each time. Hmm... As I had been on a drive from Philadelphia and had only one stop, I tried the rest room and it was clean. Almost as soon as I arrived at the pick-up counter, they brought my sandwich. It seemed a bit shy on meat and cheese and had some goop on it--I suspect the chipotle sauce from the turkey and chipotle panini. I didn't complain but that was sloppy and I'm sure they had to have noticed. The sandwich tasted good, but I had a lingering doubt by now. Also, the large tea just wasn't all that tasty, and I ended up throwing it away rather than not like it for another 350 miles. It wasn't a bad experience but it wasn't a good experience. Then they told us the only way to cancel it was to go to the register. Nowhere on the app does it say to go to the register if you place an online order. The employees here are truly a disorganized, disinterested (playing on cell phones) poorly trained and led (no clear manager on duty) disaster! Was there early in the AM. Drive thru person very annoyed that I was there. Coffee was good. Bought a breakfast Bis/Egg/Bacon/Cheese. Was COLD. Was down the road about a mile and had pulled out. Utter disappointment ! I had been trying to visit Tim Hortons for the past several trips to Wheeling and it was always too packed when I stopped in. Today I stopped to grab breakfast and coffee before hitting the highway . After 10 minutes in line I received two ice cold breakfast sandwiches and the worst iced coffee ever. I asked the lady to heat the sandwich and because they were ice cold and she told me they couldn't because the croissant would catch fire!???? This was after she had dropped the one sandwich. It's a Timmy's. Not sure what else needs to be said! Great place for breakfast sandwiches, baked treats, and the like. Second Tim Horton's stop of the day. The first one was something of a train wreck and as these guys haven't made it to STL yet so I needed to give them another shot at success. This location delivered! The sandwich was just fine. The donut instead of dessert was good and the 20 Timmy Bites got snarfed by the kids upon arrival so I am guessing they were good as well. read more

I had last gone to this location over a year ago. My experience yesterday was amazing in both quality of food and customer service. I ordered a chicken panini and cookie w a soft drink and my father got a breakfast sandwich and ice tea. The staff was friendly that was on duty and had were having fun. They took time to make the food and drinks and asked us if we needed anything multiple times. The food was hot and fresh and was cooked perfectly. I even learned that they give you refills. I have gone to Tim hortons multiple times and never knew this. Dads breakfast biscuit he ate quickly and he ate the entire thing which he never does unless he really likes the meal. OH how this place brings me back to the times i spent in Michigan... The donuts are excellent, especially the long johns!!! The apple fritter TIM-BITS are to die for.... They also have soups , salads, and sandwiches on the menu. They serve it all on real plates ( not throw aways...) which i did get the opportunity to sneak a plate home with me.... love it!!! What most people go there for is the coffee, which in my opinion is better than Starbucks or dunkin donuts. They have a variety of flavors for the coffee, my favorite is the mint coffee.
