I enjoy coming to a Tim Hortons. They have some good coffee, and even better donuts. I really like their Oreo and Nutella donuts. These are great tasting. I also enjoy their iced coffee's. They hit the spot on a nice warm weather day. I wish there were more Tim Hortons, as I would go more often. But what I do stop by one of them, I am satisfied with my coffee and donut order. To be quite honest, I'm not much of a big donut fan. But, when a craving for a sweet does hit, I make my way onto Staten Island to stop at a Tim Hortons. Tim Hortons Hylan Boulevard location is filled with an abundance of different donut types. They are constantly baking fresh ones around the clock so you always know that you'll be getting a fresh doughnut. They make some of the tastiest, and delectable pastries I have ever tried! Everything, from classic donuts, to their creative selections, muffins, and their large and fluffy cinnamon buns are always fresh, filling, and satisfying! I have never been to this Tim Hortons location or any other on the island and had a donut that I did not like or find fresh. My favorite donuts are the maple dip, honey crueler, and their little blueberry Timbits. They also make great muffins; their fruit explosion one is probably one of the best. Their blueberry is quite bland; that might be the only product I'll admit I like from Dunkin' Donuts better. Even the layout of the restaurant is quite neat; I never really find any spots or stains on the floors or tables. Their staff is quite nice as well. They are very friendly and they always greet the customers with a smile. Very patient, and very knowledgeable in their products as well. Be sure to try their other foods as well! To be honest, they do make pretty yummy lunch and breakfast options. They also make some incredible coffee! They get their coffee being straight from Guatemala, so you know their coffee is going to be strong and superb! Never watery, never bland, always just right! One of my favorite coffee spots! Mention Tim Horton's in Canada and any Canuck worth their salt will immediately genuflect to their national coffee god. This Canadian chain, literally on every street corner north of the border, offers exceptional coffee and excellent donuts which lovers of the fried dough smother in praise. Personally, I can't stand donuts and shudder at the sight of Dunkin' every five feet in the Northeast so to get five stars Horton's has to deliver a fantastic cup of coffee. They do - way south of Starbucks on price and much bolder than Wawa on taste. There's just not enough of Canada's pride Stateside to justify a daily road trip for a slightly better than average cup of Joe. I suspect Horton's Java is also available at their Burger King subsidiary but since I consider BK a fading star in the fast food firmament and not particularly clean, it's an easy pass. Bottom line, if you happen to run into one on the road, definitely drop in. read more

I have to admit, most Tim Hortons are great. Clean, good quality, nice people, coffee is always fresh, food seems like it's a nice clean space. Etc This one is great. This place is disgusting. So dirty I didn't even want to eat. The workers had zero care about customer service too. I'm not a bit DD fan or anything but I would choose Dunkin over Tim's after this experience. They seem to just have higher standards in general. A pretty spacious interior which could use some more parking, but then they share a lot with a bank which you can probably get away with using if you need to. They make a pretty decent Boston creme and their unsweetened iced tea is good too. read more

Love Tim Hortons! Their latte actually tastes like coffee and the tim bits are always fresh . I took one star off because today we came in and order 20 tim bits for $5.20 I believe, and they only put 18. Not a big deal, but I feel like if you're charging me per piece it'd be nice if you counted how many you put in... other than that this is 100% better than most chain coffee shops! read more

Yayyyy!! So thrilled this joint opened right near my house. With Duncan too watery, Starbucks too strongly and pricy, this coffee is just right. The regular roast is delicious as the dark roast as well. I have tried every single decaf k cup and haven't found any to my liking except Tim Hortons. Their donuts are awesome and can't put my finger on why, but they are so much better than competitors. The Nutella filled is my utmost favorite. The greatest is that they have a drive through. They have their days. Sometimes they have the most freshest coffee that I end up craving for weeks. Sometimes they have coffee that tastes like it's been sitting there for weeks. I think the Tim Hortons chain is a very good coffee/sandwich shop. However, my experience with the 1700 Richmond Road location was very disappointing. I was a regular customer at this location for several months. I find the staff unprofessional and rude. For ex. I ordered a breakfast sandwich on 1/30/2023 and was charged double for 2 when I ordered 1. When I questioned it, the manager seemed shock. He refunded me the cost for the additional sandwich without even apologizing. I felt this was unprofessional. I can understand mistakes happen but staff should be trained to handle situations professional especially a manager. I will not return to this place. read more

I was a slave to Dunkin Donuts. Overpriced coffee and a ltd array of baked goods was a routine dead end trip. I drove down Hylan Blvd one day and stumbled upon Tim Horton's. I walked in and my life changed!! No more chains!! No more boredom. The king (Dunkin Donuts) is dead. Long live the king Tim Hortons. Heard about this place from a friend that it's popular in Canada and always wanted to give it a try. But now I'm you can try it here. Grand opening not too long ago back in November2016 - December 2016 if I'm not mistaken. Good enough parking space outdoors and even a drive thru if your in a rush. Walked in and had no idea what to order. Just wanted a little of everything. Nice presentation of donuts, muffins, and cookies. The lights were bright inside and filled with people. Menu was easy to read and had lots of options for breakfast, lunch and possibly even dinner if you wanted since it's 24/7. Finally decision came down to Nutella donut which was calling me along with a hot mocha coffee and a hot caramel latte. Cant have a donut without a hot drink right :). Very satisfied with the freshness of donut and taste of the drinks. Definitly recommending and coming back for more. The donuts are endless. read more

Coffee closer to work! Yay! I am so thrilled this location is finally open and they left nothing to be desired. The location has a drive thru which is super for quick morning coffees. Inside is sleek and clean, as it should be for a new store. The employees are nice and keep the line moving for only having one register. The coffee is always on point unlike some other chains in the area. The food is pretty good too! Perfect spot for a quick breakfast or lunch. Amazing place makes you wanna sit down and have a cup of coffee. One block from Volkswagen, So sitting here in a nice place with a fire place, Instead of a old service center with a coffee maker makes this place even better. They have a drive thru, handicap parking/seating(wheelchair),nice staff, good service, and a variety of seating(for someone with back problems it's important). I was there for a little under a hour and haven't heard any complaints multiple customers inside and outside flying out happy. I'll be back here next week for my next appointment with Volkswagen. Having gone to school in upstate New York, I was so excited when I found out Staten had a Tim Horton's as well! I absolutely love their coffee and it's such a nice change from Starbucks or Dunkin' Donuts.
