As a first-time visitor to Tim Hortons, I was excited to try their offerings, especially as an avid coffee drinker. I also picked up some Timbits for my child. Right off the bat, the Timbits were fresh and delicious, and I would certainly return for them alone. However, I found the coffee to be quite disappointing. It tasted watery, and despite giving it multiple tries over three different visits, the quality did not improve. Even when I requested a dark roast, the coffee was overly bitter and did not meet my expectations.
What concerned me most was the service. While I understand the need for efficiency, as a tourist unfamiliar with the menu, I was hoping for a bit of guidance or advice. Unfortunately, I felt rushed during each visit, as though the staff were more focused on speed than customer care. On my final visit, I took my time to order since it was nearing the end of my trip, but the staff's attitude was particularly unpleasant. The server handed me my coffee so aggressively that the lid popped off, as I rushed to put the lid back on to avoid spilling coffee on myself less than 30 seconds later, I was told to move away from the drive-thru window, leaving me shocked by the lack of courtesy.
While I appreciated the quality of the Timbits, my overall experience was marred by subpar coffee and discourteous service. I may consider trying a different location in the future, but this particular visit was disappointing. It's a shame, as the food shows promise. read more
