However, my partner finished ordering, got a coffee, they charged him twice and made him two, when he only ordered one. I told them I would also be ordering and the woman that checked out his order left the cash register and was just messing around with the other people working behind the counter. I don't have an issue with people taking a break while they're working, but she saw me and heard me tell her I was going to order, and deliberately took her time to get back. Additionally, I was told I couldn't scan my rewards QR because I'm from the US. I'm not sure why that would be an issue, considering I was ordering in CA and Tim Hortons is a chain that has locations in both CA and the US. Very weird experience overall.
