This is a decent location. Good breakfast sandwich and tidbits. Staff was quite friendly. The drive thru is set up a little awkwardly.

Jasmita the owner of this location was so helpful and friendly in helping me pick between a regular signature matcha milk tea and the roasted one. She gave me a sample to try and even though I was worried to try something new outside of a Taro Smoothie. She made it for me quickly and asked me to taste it in front of her to make sure I liked it. I could tell she really cared and wanted me to like it. And I did! It wasn't too sweet even though I got regular sugar amount, and very less ice. It was strong to satisfy my caffeine fix and also the regular boba was sweet. I would definitely recommend this spot for a substantial afternoon snack and know you'll be well taken care of.

I am not a tea drinker, but I've always loved Chai that I've often had in Milton homes and have never had the same experience in local tea shops. Chai, if you don't know is a type of brewed tea made with Milk and water and sweetened. To me it doesn't taste like what I'd normally think Tea is and I've always loved Chai. I really enjoyed their "Chatime Milk Tea". It is served cold (which I wasn't expecting) but really has the similar chai taste I like. I'm really glad this place has opened up close to my home. Chai is honestly the only tea I enjoy. I'm not sure if "Chatime" is legit chai but it tastes similar to me, it can come with pearls (Tapioca balls or sometimes called boba or bubbles) or without depending on your preference. They can also adjust sweetness level to your choice. Chatime is actually a global franchise so I had low expectations but it's actually really good so I'd recommend people try it (especially I think if you like Chai). After our first visit we went back again and had the pleasure to meet the local owner who lives in Milton. She was very kind and we could tell she really cares about both the service and quality and wants to do everything possible to ensure both are high.

Besides, we could use a caffeine fix! So, this is a bicycle shop with an espresso bar inside. They have some nice shiny machines, and they put out a very nice cup. Lee and I both had Americanos, and the barista was very pleasant and friendly, giving us some little chocolate covered beans with our drinks. They have a little sitting area and a bar, with bike jersey and other equipment catalogs to peruse. They carry Trek, Electra, Rocky Mountain, Litespeed, Lynskey and Track bicycles. The upstairs area is stuffed with bikes, mostly mountain bikes, but a few cruisers and road bikes as well. The mountain bikes being prominent make the sense, since there are a lot of great places to mountain bike in this area. A guy came by to talk to us as we were browsing, and Lee recognized him as being the old head mechanic at his bike shop in Oakville. He'd moved up here and opened the shop with some other guys, and they're doing a lot of expansion: the coffee bar is really successful and they get a lot of cyclists, so they're planning on expanding soon. He pointed out the basement area where the accessories are. We went down there and checked stuff out. They've got a really nice selection of men's and women's accessories, and some kid and family friendly stuff. The prices are a bit expensive, and it's mostly premium brands, but they are a friendly bunch, and this place is definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

As a preface, I'd like to say that I value taste extremely high compared to service or ambiance,…read moreand I weigh price highly as well. Overall, The Alley has a lot going for it. Drinks are amazing and locations are well placed and spaced which makes it easy for me to access as a consumer. Ambiance and service are nothing special, but I could not care less. The alley constantly comes out with new flavors and options for me try, but this is where the problem strikes. They constantly create drinks which appeal to niche demographics and so I regularly do not enjoy the new flavors. The Alley plays heavier to tea enjoyers and less to people like me who hate tea but enjoy fruit smoothies and toppings. I love the ube taro/puff brown sugar bubble tea in particular, because I cannot figure out whether it has tea in it or not. There are a lot of options, so I am sure I can do some searching for a better flavor, but I would say they do not have a lot of drinks that appeal to a wide demographic. The rewards program also sucks, might as well not exist, and so when I talk about pricing, I will not consider the rewards program (12 drinks for 1 free). The drinks are worth the price ($8.5 for a large), but it is on the expensive side of most bubble tea stores. For example, Coco has offers and deals on good drinks to bring the cost down to 2 drinks for $10. The point I am trying to make is that The Alley is premium in flavor and cost which encourages me to go to other locations for an alternative simply because I want to buy food alongside a drink and stay within my budget. Worth going too once in a month or to satisfy a craving, overall great place.

Cozy space and lots of seats, but I always have to wait forever for my drink. There were at least multiple times where I had to wait like 20+ mins for a drink since there was only one worker. I can't really blame them because it can get busy at times, but waiting like 30 mins for a tiny little drink is insane. I swear the service used to be much faster so it might have just been the days I chose to go. They have a great bathroom, though. I was shocked at how nice it was.
