    Everything Bagel with Extra Butter

This Tim's is probably the worst i've been to. I didn't know it was possible to make a bagel so poorly. Looks like it was run over by a car. All the food i've gotten from here has been below average but this bagel takes the cake. Was somehow not toasted yet burnt, and ordered extra butter but it was dry.

Bacon and egg Croissant from Tims

Picked up a Croissant and coffee this morning only to receive a squished pile of unrecognizable blob of food that fell apart. Presentation and delivery of this breakfast sandwich was beyond unacceptable.

Double chocolate cookie with hot chocolate.

I have driven by this little spot at 5 corners in Langley thousands of times, so we were happy to finally stop in. The building itself is very cool having originally been built in 1888 and was the general store. PY Porter bought the store in 1916, and the Porter name has been on the building since. Today it is a coffee house, restaurant and music venue. All three of us ordered the daily special, the lovely K the pancakes and breakfast sausage and Kris and I the farmer sausage, eggs and potatoes with toast. The farmer sausage was wonderful, the potatoes properly made and beautifully cooked. No Sysco truck delivering the sides for sure. My cappuccino was mostly foam, with little coffee, although the lovely K said hers was great, so a saw off. There are plenty of things to entice, with baked goods, prepared sandwiches and a wide variety of trinkets offered in the early 20th century interior. There sure won't be a century pass before they see our faces again.

Service was slow. Music was pretty good. It is old Langley heritage. Worth a go if you're looking for an experience out of the ordinary.
