Instead of reassurance, the doctor told me he's "running a business". He also suggested I get a second opinion if I wanted. That was discouraging, but what happened afterward was even more upsetting. When I called the next day to schedule the procedure, the staff informed me that the doctor had decided he would "prefer not to do the procedure" and advised me to seek care elsewhere. Looking back, I should have known something was off--the staff rushed us out at the end of the appointment and didn't even print the treatment plan until I specifically asked for it. This office comes highly recommended, but our experience left me feeling that patient care and compassion were treated as less important than business concerns. Parents should be able to ask questions about their child's safety without being dismissed or turned away. If you're an educated mother who asks questions, I would avoid this dental office.

I was brushing her teeth last night and noticed she had what looks like a cavity on her molar. Clearly Martin Dental did not do a thorough examination on her. I called Kids First this morning and they got me an appointment the same day! Turns out she does have a cavity and they handled it that same day. I absolutely love that they are bilingual and specialize in caring for children with special needs. Their office is also so cute and inviting. They have arcade games, books, a few games and even a PS5 for the teens! I love that anytime I call, the person on the other end sounds upbeat & happy to be there. My questions answered and the team is knowledgeable about what we have going on ( I have multiple kids scheduled at once) My kids love Dr. V, he is patient and really engages with the kids to make them comfortable and reassures them before working on their teeth.
