Worst. Tree. Service. Ever…read more Our "neighbors" hired, what apparently was the cheapest tree service they could find to remove a dead tree. They got a bargain though, as this clown show of a service was able to damage and remove other trees in the process! As well as a 150 year old architectural brick wall. They absolutely destroyed a 50-60 year old cornerstone dogwood in the neighboring yard. They left piles of debris in the neighboring yard and broken limbs both in the trees and on the ground. I wouldn't hire these jokers to cut the grass, much less do anything that involved care and planning. They are the worst. Do not work with these guys. They are awful. I have had several trees removed and the key is competence, not speed or price. They'll be getting sued shortly, so hopefully this won't matter and they'll be out of business. 0 stars.

One guy quoted the job, the owner came to assess before starting. Brought a bucket truck to get onto the roof, then decided the roof was too pitched to work. They ended up just whacking off branches at the trunk, leaving a big hole in the tree by the roof. This did get the branches off the roof, but not the way I had intended or was led to think could be done. Yes, they did the job. But, I won't be calling them for more work, which needs to be done. Didn't feel good enough about the whole thing to hire them again.

He arrived that afternoon and had them ground down pretty fast. One stump had several roots that were showing above the dirt and he was sure to take care of those as well. When he was done he asked if we wanted the chips raked into piles or spread out. Next time we need stumps ground I'm calling S&S.

I can only hope you read this review before you give them a penny…read more They knocked on our door and offered to do work in the yard, promptly took the money and left saying a worker had been stung by bees and never returned. 6 months later after reaching out continuously, they offered to make it right by taking down a couple of dead trees in exchange for what we had already paid and another few hundred dollars. As expected, they showed up late and asked for the money before the job was finished. When we explained they would be paid once the job was finished, Alex sent his worker to explain something "bad would happen" if he didn't get the money right away. My widowed mother was home alone at the time and was terrified. I called Alex immediately and he said he was going to cut down a tree and make it fall on the house if we didn't pay and hung up on me. We called the police and him and his crew left. I also sent my brother to be there with my mom to keep her safe. When they returned the police were at the house to help and explained companies like this just scour neighborhoods to take money from people to fund drug habits. They will now be arrested if they set foot back in the neighborhood. I don't write this to be dramatic, but I can't shake the feeling I had knowing they were threatening my mother while she was at the house alone and I couldn't be there. Please, I beg you, do not hire them.
