STOP! Do not hire these people. I can only hope you read this review before you give them a penny. They knocked on our door and offered to do work in the yard, promptly took the money and left saying a worker had been stung by bees and never returned. 6 months later after reaching out continuously, they offered to make it right by taking down a couple of dead trees in exchange for what we had already paid and another few hundred dollars. As expected, they showed up late and asked for the money before the job was finished. When we explained they would be paid once the job was finished, Alex sent his worker to explain something "bad would happen" if he didn't get the money right away. My widowed mother was home alone at the time and was terrified. I called Alex immediately and he said he was going to cut down a tree and make it fall on the house if we didn't pay and hung up on me. We called the police and him and his crew left. I also sent my brother to be there with my mom to keep her safe. When they returned the police were at the house to help and explained companies like this just scour neighborhoods to take money from people to fund drug habits. They will now be arrested if they set foot back in the neighborhood. I don't write this to be dramatic, but I can't shake the feeling I had knowing they were threatening my mother while she was at the house alone and I couldn't be there. Do Not Hire Lewis Brothers LLC to cut your tree/s. When Alex, the person listed on the card, cut down my neighbor's huge, tall tree it landed on one of my beautiful, hardwood trees. In the process of getting the tree off , my tree's bark was stripped on one side. Plus one of the branches fell off. The Lewis Brothers didn't check the property lines or ask me if he could drop the neighbor's tree on my property. I have called him several times and ask him to treat the bark and to remove the tree trunk from my property. However, he will not return my calls. His card states he is insured and bonded. I don't know how to contact his insurance. No name on the card. It will cost me at least $1,000.00 to get the tree cut down when it dies. Plus $500.00 to get neighbor's tree trunk cut up and hauled away. If anyone knows name of Lewis Brother Tree service insurance please name it on this review. I do plan to take him to Small Claims Court. All this trouble because Lewis Brothers Tree LLC is not honest. read more

I have called him several times and asked him to come and take measures to save my tree and to remove the tree trunk that landed on my property. Also, to remove the neighbors tree trunk from my property. He has not returned my calls. His card states that he is insured and bonded. However, I don't know how to contact his insurance. (If he truly has any insurance.) My tree will die if not treated. That will cost me at least over a $1,000.00 to have it cut down. Also, at least another $500.00 to get someone to cut the neighbor's tree trunk apart and haul it off. I do plan to take him to small claims court.
