We purchased a new 2015 Mazda CX-5 Touring from D. Dahle Mazda of Murray a few weeks ago and had a great experience. Our salesperson Matt Rosner was awesome and the Sales Manager and financing department were very good too. All of the employees we worked with were personal and easy to talk with. They took time to answer all of our many questions and we never felt pressured or rushed to make a decision. Negotiating on price was easy and straightforward because they sold us the CX-5 for only $200 above invoice. By financing through Mazda (which is backed by Chase) we saved an additional $1,500 as well. They also agreed to discount the additional accessories we wanted and the extended warranty. I only have two complaints: The first is that it took about three hours to finalize our purchase. We sat around for a long time, waiting and waiting and waiting, and for what I'm not really sure... When they finally had our paperwork ready to be signed it only took about 10 minutes. But for some inexplicable reason it took forever to get to that point. The dealership was not very busy so I'm not sure why they were being so slow. My other compliant is that the Sales Manager originally suggested we could get an interest rate of 2.99% if we financed through Mazda. But when we signed the paperwork the rate had jumped to 3.99%. A.K. in financing explained it was because the rates from Mazda change everyday and suggested we could transfer the loan to a credit union and get a lower rate in 90 days. By financing with Mazda we did get the extra $1,500 off, so it was to ultimately to our benefit, but the last minute change in rates still bothered me. So in 90 days I'll get transfer the car loan to a credit union and get a lower rate. D. Dahle Mazda of Murray has a clean and modern showroom. Their employees are honest and easy to work with. This is probably one of the most dishonest dealers I've dealt with. I dont normally write reviews but I would hate for someone to go buy a car from them without a heads up. I bought a car 2 months ago and recently found out that it had some damage that was undisclosed to me. Not only undisclosed, but flat lied to. I asked to see a car fax report on the car I was buying. The salesman pulled it up almost weirdly fast. I should have questioned it but I believed him that it was true. I asked if this car had any known damage. The answer was that there had been no damage and the salesman- Chris- "stands by every car he sells". Flash forward to a week ago, my car wouldn't start. I figured I had left a light on or something. I went to pop the hood to charge the battery The hood would not open at all. I called Chris, the man that "stands behind every car he sells" and he gave me the run around that he could call the shop to see if they noticed anything while they were doing the initial intake of the car and get back to me with a way to fix it or be able to get it open for now. Of course I knew he was probably lying and had no intention of calling me back, which he never did. I took the car to my local shop to see what the problem was with the hood. They found that the car had probably had front end damage in the past and that's why the latch was not connecting right. The Tim Dahle shop would have 100% seen this if they had actually done the oil change and intake like they said they did. So they either never touched the car or they flat lied to me. Bought a used car for them sales person promise bumper for the car get the run around for about a month and then was told that they cannot replace the bumper at all. Been waiting on plates and tags, but was never given a phone call that the car needed a smog. read more

The dealership is under construction and looks closed but is actually open. I went there for a oil change and ended up getting my battery and wipers replaced on top of it. The staff was attentive and they gave me a loaner to use until my car was ready. Would highly recommend! read more

This dealership seems to have some sort of internal discord going on that has become the customer's problem. The supposed service manager is an unapologetic, honorless, and disagreeable man. The parts department is friendly enough. They just don't seem to be on the same page, and rather than work it out in the background, service gets spikey at the customer, throws blame and refuses to be helpful, kind, or regretful as to the problem. This even goes so far as to blame the customer for expecting things to go as promised after seeking clarification. I certainly don't feel comfortable doing business here. read more

I tried to purchase a used vehicle at this dealership. I thought that we were very close to a deal and I sent an email to my salesperson to tell him that I was ready to buy the car immediately and that I was hoping to compromise a bit more before consummating the deal. I submitted a list of some items for consideration but it was IN NO WAY a list of demands. Sadly, the sales manager didn't even bother to read the email I sent yet when I called him, he berated me and barely let me speak without interrupting. Needless to say, it was a very unpleasant and disconcerting conversation due to the hostility that was directed at me. Despite the adversarial nature of my conversation with the sales manager, I called the GM to try to make the deal happen and he didn't even return my call. Frankly, it's hard to understand and even more difficult for me to accept. My recommendation is to STAY AWAY! read more

Absolutely awful experience with the service department! While I was out of town in May 2022 my daughter took my 2019 Mazda 6 in to be serviced and asked to speak with the mechanic because the engine had been making a faint knocking noise. The mechanic, Anthony, had her explain the issue and without even starting the vehicle to listen to the engine he responded by telling her that she "must be hearing things" that the vehicle is not making any knocking noises. He then proceeded to laugh and tell her that he thought she was kinda cute and thought they should 'go out sometime.' This made my daughter very uncomfortable so she told him she would get her car later and proceeded to leave. My wife came back with my daughter to pick up the car and asked to speak with Anthony. He came out and was friendly and respectful, informed my wife that he was unable to hear the knocking noise. And, then proceeded to hit on my wife by asking for her phone number! Both my wife and daughter felt embarrassed and as though they would not be taken seriously if they had complained. I am just now finding out about this experience and I am disgusted. That anyone would hire such a disrespectful, exploitative mechanic and let them speak to female customers like this is appalling. Service here has been going downhill for years. First off, I hate car dealerships, but this one in particular I've had a number of issues with. I ended up buying a car from them for a little bit more than it was worth, but I ended up getting an ok deal. Getting that price in the first place was tricky though. When I first saw the car out on the lot I knew I wanted it and so did the salesman; that was my first mistake. It was a used Mazda 3 with 6000 miles on it. There was a clear and legible price sticker in the window, but the salesman kept trying to sale it to me for $1000 more than the listed price, how idiotic. The salesman I was working with either had a bad memory or was lying to me the entire time. After about a week of negotiating the car was still on the lot and I ended up getting a good deal, but it was a painful experience. I will NOT buy a car from this place again. The only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars is because of the quality of the service here. They do a good job at that. read more

This USE to be a great place for customer service. In the past 2 years this Mazda Dealership has gone down hill. The sales people and managers were very dishonest with our qualifications to lease and buy a car. This whole experience was a complete shit show with lots of lies and dishonesty. Ken in the financial department was a complete ass to us. Jon and Richardz (managers) very dishonest with our car transactions fed us a line of BS. Felt like they took full advantage of a innocent lady and tried to screw me over. Will never return to this dealership due to VERY dishonest salesmen and managers! They were so rude! Actually, when we first arrived, they were super great and really nice. My brother was helping me buy a new car, side note: my brother is in the military and came after work to help me. Long story short, we thought everything was smooth sailing, so my brother left to be with his wife and kids. Immediately after he left the salesman and management turned super rude. They treated me like I was a dumb girl and completely incompetent. First they quoted my trade in for 2,500 then came back and said we decided on 1,500 when I asked why, Matt said " In what world do you honestly think we would give you 2,500 for your car" I realize my car is older but when I pulled the review on NADA (which is what they use at D. Dahle Mazda in Murray) the lowest it said was 2,100. I would have excepted any other response, he didn't have to be rude. Word of advice..don't go to them. I would rather deal with pushy salesmen then mean ones any day. read more

Let me begin by saying I am a car enthusiast and a total Mazda dude. I own a CX-9, an MX-3, and a rotary powered RX-8. I am very hesitant to take my car to any shop or have someone else lay their hands on it :) That being said, I've had to take my car here several times for services I couldn't do myself and I even bought my CX-9 from D Dahle. As of today, I can say I've been lucky and have had good experiences with them. The service dept was very nice and offered some snacks while I was waiting for my car to get done. When I bought my CX-9, I did not feel any pressure. The salesman answered all questions I had but didn't really try to "sell" the car to me. Of course, before going in, you should also be a little informed about what you want (be it servicing your car, or buying one) in case someone BS's you. read more

Very disappointed. We went there looking to test drive a car and maybe buying it. They run your credit before you agree on a price and also the "numbers guy" was rude to us. I know my trade in is not a new car but do not try to make me feel like you are the only option around. I came in last week to look at a new car. The salesperson Kai approached and seemed attentive at first. I told him I was only browsing very casually, he told me that due to their 'system' he can't really show any cars without my license, weird but fine. I looked at a few of their cars and he offered a test drive. The vehicle itself was alright but Kai made some very creepy comments about my race and tried to use that as a selling point for the vehicle, it was a very uncomfortable test drive. We later get back and he started asking me for more personal info, I told him I'm not giving anything out. He told me it was part of the test drive otherwise they'd have to charge me... okay another redflag but fine, I would give him my info under the stipulation that they don't market me. I got automated texts the next day hounding me to come back to buy the car, and automated emails and even physical mail from the same dealership. Called in to complain and have them remove me, Kai was super rude and pretended like he didn't ever speak with me. Got forwarded to their manager Curtis, when asked why they added my information into the system he lied and said that he 'didn't know why it happened' then told me to shut up and that he's 'fixed it' when I asked to escalate further. That's my experience with this place and I don't think I'll be shopping here again. read more

BEWARE: I really am not the type to leave reviews but this place has put my daughter through the ringer. This is a long story but please read the whole thing and you will see what kind of company you are dealing with. First off I want to say that when my daughter was looking for her first car and we found it at D. Dahle I was excited because it was actually the first dealership I worked at as a teenager. This is where the excitement ends. She was interested in a used vehicle (2013 Subaru), we were told the transmission had just been replaced and looked over by a mechanic and it was in great working order, it had new tires etc. It hit all the things she was looking for. She already had financing through her credit union but this place acted as if this was the first time that has ever happened and we had to come back to the dealership several times to sign the contract due to the Finance manager throwing in GAP insurance and extended warranty without discussing the options with my daughter. When I pointed these items out he acted surprised and said they'd have to redo the contract. Fast forward to getting the license plates; no phone call, no letter in the mail saying they're in. My daughter calls the dealership as her temp had expired. They can't find her plates. The next day she gets a call stating that they never received the title from the previous owner so they would have to extend her temp. Something they could & should have disclosed that prior to her temp expiring! So they extend, and she waits another 30 days, again no communication from the dealership, They still don't have the title. She get's another extension on the temp. It's finally December (she purchased the car in Sept) and they call saying they have the title but failed to do an emissions test and they need the car back to do this before they can get her plates. So she takes the car in and finally she gets her plates. In February she is out for a drive and her car stops, it just dies. She gets it towed to D. Dahle ( a saturday night, so they are closed). Monday they call and say they dont know what's wrong, the car is driving fine and she can come get it. My daughter is annoyed but happy her car seems fine. She shows up and they tell her just kidding, her transmission is out! They tell her she probably has warranty coverage because they just replaced it in August. We are hopeful that is the case, but no, apparently they put a USED TRANSMISSION with only a 30 day warranty into her car. When she test drove the vehicle the warranty was already out!! Seriously something they should have disclosed. At this point they begin looking for yet another transmission, and quote us $2600. My husband calls and talks to the sales managers Matt and the Service Manager Damon and they say there's nothing they can do, the warranty wont cover it. They don't care about the previous issues with the plates or the shady tactics in Finance, but they said they will try to get us a better deal on the transmission. It takes a month for them to get the transmission in & repaired, which gave my daughter enough time to save up some money to pay for a transmission. Would you be surprised to hear that when they called that they said the price went up, not down? yeah, $2900+ and they claimed that was with a discount. My teary daughter goes to the dealership to pay to get her car, finally happy to have it back at least, She gets home and there is a giant dent & scratch on the rear passenger side! She calls the dealership to tell them that her car has been hit and they tell her they DO NOT COVER LOT DAMAGE! WHAT! You are a dealership, you have an account specifically for LOT DAMAGE! My husband calls them today and talks to Damon & Adrian, they both say that the only deal they can give her is 50% of the repair to fix it, which by their estimate is $900, so they want another $450 from her to FIX WHAT THEY DID, that's it they take no responsibility. SO IF YOU DON'T MIND BEING LIED TO, MISLEAD & HAVING YOUR PROPERTY DAMAGED, COME HERE! read more

So, I'm doing two stars strictly because the guy that shows u around and helps u find what u like was amazing! I worked with garret n he was a total gem. Unfortunately his higher up's are greedy and just out for the dollar and could care less about helping anybody. I don't want to make this two long so I'll make it short. I went to Mazda because i had my heart set on a Mazda CX-5. Eventually i ended up falling in love with a used 2019 Mazda3 they had. It was a good car and had low miles. Unfortunately it was higher than what i wanted but was willing to do it anyways if they could work the numbers right for me (which i knew was possible because i have family in the business and he had already showed me what i could get it for) so i went to Mazda hoping they would at least meet close to that. Instead they doubled it and some! I was blown away. I was putting 10k cash down on this car and they where still not willing to break from 15% interest. I eventually got them to move down to 14% wooohooo. Big jump right. Lol . It was insane. My car payment would have been nearly 350$ n that's not including insurance n everything else. I eventually left n said screw it because after two weeks of going back n fourth from this place i decided i didn't wanna give them my money. Instead i went to VW Southtown and got a nearly new little Kia for 8% interest rate and my payments are only 130$. ‍ whoever dares try this place out, best of luck! You're gonna need it. read more

These guys were terrible. The first day I showed up to have them diagnose a problem with my air conditioner, and one of the service desk guys came out and started pulling fuses and trying to bluff his way through finding what the problem was. He had no idea what he was doing, and after he messed with the fuse box and whatever else he touched, my abs, parking brake, and traction control lights all came on. He said it was no big deal and that it was probly just a fuse that they could fix for me when I got it diagnosed. He then set me up with an appointment for the next day. I brought the car in the next day and they charged me $100 to do a diagnostic, and then told me that the abs and traction control were broken, quoting me $2800 dollars to fix it! I told the service manager what happened, and all they did was reprimand the service guy who messed it up, and offer to replace the parts with used ones for $200 dollars. They denied all responsibility for having broken anything, saying something like, "our master techs said we couldn't possibly have caused the problem." The fact is, I brought the car in without an abs or traction problem, and I left your dealership with problems in both areas. Denying responsibility does not excuse you from it. I will never recommend these guys to anyone, and I pity anyone who buys from them. Honesty and taking responsibility are apparently not qualities that this dealership wants in its employees. read more

We've had our used car for a month and have had to take it back to them multiple times for repairs (including the second day of having it!). Come to find out that the engine has a busted rod and needs a new engine. D Dahle Mazda of Murray is not accepting accountability for selling us a majorly broken car! So now we have to pay over half the value of the car just to repair it! Ridiculous! Avoid D Dahle Mazda of Murray like the plague! We trusted that we could work with you guys on getting the car fixed. It was when D Dahle Mazda of Murray explained that it needed your quoted 8000 dollar new engine replacement. We tried to work it out... We wanted to have our mechanic do the work for 3200 so we could afford the repairs- and asked D Dahle Mazda of Murray to pay half - and call it good. We talked to your service manager and sales manager and they seemed sympathetic and understanding - and then later explained that it was YOUR decision NOT to help out at all. A little bird approached me with the intel that these guys had a brand spank-me-silly new 2015 Mazda3 Grand Touring w/ the upgraded engine and all the bells and whistles. That's great of course, since they always have those, but this one had that so so sweet 6 speed manual tranny, which is semi-rare due to the luxurious trim level and the lazy ol' stuffed shirt demographic it typically caters to. My salesman, Jon, was knowledgeable and authoritative yet hands-off, which I like-- a lot. I gave it a twice over, pushed its limits on the test cruise and walked out with keys in hand and a full tank of gas in less than 2 hours. This car is a real peach; a tour de force; an artistic atom-bomb, and Jon was my very own lone cowboy, traversing dry and unforgiving landscapes whilest being harassed by auspicious outlaws to provide an explosive deal (damn near close to what they bought it for) to a poor prospector like me. Their money woman, Kath, was great and made the numbers all too easy. So I was planning on spending nearly twice what I did on a Lexus F-Sport and, thankfully, this experience brought me to my senses. The only thing the F-sport really has on the 3 is how puffy the leather seats are, and I prefer the rugged life. Just to be clear, I gave myself what I wanted; the holy grail, bank account sustaining face-melter speed demon I think I deserve but probably don't. Some say this Jon character still moseys around the dealership to this very day, but I can't provide any evidence to back that up. Happy hunting! read more

I am so upset with Mazda, if you couldn't tell by the rating. The thing that bothers me the most is if I would have written this 3 years ago I would have given them full stars. DON'T LEASE WITH THEM. We were loyal leasing customers for 3 years. We never missed a payment, and our car was in tip top shape. We went in to turn in the lease and they convinced us to lease with them again, but with a newer car. They said if we did this they would forgive any costs turning in our first car. We decided to go this route, and drove off with my husbands favorite car. Once again we ALWAYS pay on time, and we take great care of their cars. Well we had a problem releasing our apartment, and we were a little worried about money, and at the exact same time Mazda slammed us with a $1,200 bill. We called them, and each time they just flat out said "we can't help you", finally after literally calling 10+ times they finally decided to tell us that we had to pay this ridiculous bill in 60 days or they would send us to collections. The problem is we were told we would not be paying anything to Mazda after driving our new car off the lot. My husband pleaded to get a longer extension on this bill that we shouldn't have to pay in the first place, and they will not. We even offered to pay it in monthly incrimints, because we already pay them $400 a month. But the answer was always no, they refuse to work with their loyal customers. Separate issue, we tried to apply for a loan and couldn't because Mazda still has us under owning both the leased cars even though they have sold our old one. We also called multiple times to fix this issue and they send us on a wild goose chase. We finally just decided we wouldn't apply for the loan, because it was such a hassle. hate is a strong word, but I'm just going to say it. I hate this company. Maybe buy, but whatever you do DON'T LEASE. Side note: I actually hate writing bad reviews on companies, because I know they poorly effect them. I just would have wanted to know this information before I leased a car with them. read more

My check engine light came on and without an appointment they took me in, checked the codes, and found the problem within minutes. Steve the service advisor handled every aspect of this and had me out in 15 minutes. I'm definitely recommending this dealership and will have my daughters car serviced here from now on. They replaced a turbo on our CX-7 for $2500. They even admitted that there was a known problem with the turbos. 14 months later, the turbo that they installed failed. We were told that the warranty was only 12 months and that it would cost another $2500 to replace. A brand new turbo should last longer than 14 months. We are not hard on cars at all. This is ridiculous. They obviously installed a faulty part or installed it incorrectly. Their solution, when we didn't want to pay to fix the turbo again, was to sell us another car. What a joke. We got rid of that car and bought a Volkswagen with a lifetime powertrain and engine warranty (that includes the turbo) from Strong VW. We will never buy a Mazda again, and we would certainly suggest you do your business elsewhere. read more

Somehow, I was given a Mazda3 key when I bought the car and when it became an issue I asked that D.Dahle replace it with the appropriate key I was called a liar that this wasn't the key that I was given at purchase. He repeatedly told me that I was not a valuable customer because I took my car elsewhere for my oil changes - when I asked him whether buying multiple cars from D. Dahle was valuable to him he said "absolutely not" because I didn't do my regular service with them. I don't wish to drive from the Avenues to Midvale to have my oil changed and that has somehow insulted Cameron. He views service as a separate business from the sales side and therefore I am of no value to him. While I totally understand why Cameron thinks he's right to call me a liar and I'm sure he is told many tall tales by customers. I can assure you this is the key I was given when I bought it and now, over what is likely a $100 cost item to the service team the sales team can go pound sand. I have many options in buying a car in this valley - I'm going to go elsewhere in the future. I suggest you do too. read more

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALER. I recently bought a used car from this place and I was happy till the problems started. Problem one it was a hassle for me to get my plate from these people. They told me that a wrong person signed the title and they couldn't license it. It would have helped if they called and told me this, but no I had to go physically go down back to the dealer to resolve this issue. Problem two I have an oil leak and asked them to look at it. After a few hours I got a call and it is leaking oil from pretty much everywhere it can on the engine. The warranty they sold me also just so happens to not cover the seals. So now I have a car that is useless and they want me to pay full price for them to repair. So much for the inspections they do on these cars. read more

I had a great experience at D Dahle of Murray over the last couple weeks. Doug Queiroz was fantastic to work with. If you are going here for a test drive, ask for Doug. He was very knowledgable about the CX-5 we were testing, didn't lay on the normal car dealer sales pressure, and was very prompt and courteous via email and text in answering all of my questions. I didn't end up buying from this dealership, but I was so impressed with both Doug and his manager Jon that I had to give them a review here. read more

Great at first then when the pressure is on the line all sales tactics come out. They will do everything to tell you they are not commission based and that they are salary based so its a better experience for you then a normal dealership. But when it comes down to your money they sure act like they are commission based. Just over all wasn't the best experience. read more

We just bought a new CX-5 from this dealership. They were the only Mazda dealer in the state to have the version of the car my wife wanted since it will be her commuter car. The overall experience was truly horrific from the salesman who flat out lied on multiple occasions to the finance manager who was extremely rude. We were made to wait over an hour just to see the finance manager and mind you this was at 8PM at night. He was so rude to us that at one point I stood up and told my wife I didn't want to give our money to this dealer. She convinced me to stay. We love the Mazda CX-5. Great car, awful dealership. I've never dealt with the dealerships in Orem or Bountiful but if you have the option to give your money to one of them over Dahle Mazda I recommend you do so. Dealers like this won't learn what good customer service means until they feel the pain in their bottom line revenue. read more

I love my new Mazda, but I definitely had issues with one of the staff. Husband and I went in already knowing exactly what we wanted and ready to buy. We get into the office with Ken the finance guy and start going over paperwork. Well, I wanted to have a quick chat with my mother (her and my dad owned car dealerships) to get her opinion on the extended warranty. I wasn't on the phone all that long when Ken snaps at me "What are we doing here?! Are we doing this or not?!" I was taken aback. I replied with I'm getting advice, is that okay with you? He comes back with "Yes, but you're just sitting here going 'okay, okay'. You can finish your conversation outside if we're interrupting you." Needless to say, I was furious. Here we are, ready and willing to buy a brand new car, and this guy is being a massive tool and basically throwing a temper tantrum. We almost walked out right then. If it weren't for the awesome sales guys we had dealt with, Matt and Nico, we would have left and bought elsewhere. Also, I brought my new Mazda home to find that left in the vehicle was a folder with a copy of someone's driver's license and a packet with a huge list of peoples' names, home addresses, and phone numbers. Definitely not protecting information of customers. Not cool, and very troublesome. read more

I've bought several cars here. The only complaint I have is there financing manager that I dealt with on my first car. He was a joke and I felt very mislead into getting a car at what I thought would be a 2% interest rate ended up being a 9% interest rate. A few years later after I had calmed down I decided to get a new Mazda. I got a great rate and didn't get suckered into signing a joke of a contract. I've been coming here for service on both of my Mazdas and have never had an issue their service department is great and that's the reason I decided to continue to do business with this dealership after I had that bad taste in my mouth about the Interest rate. read more

Its been like 4 mouths and 5k miles since I had my timing belt replaced here. My main seal is now spewing oil. I should be standard procedure to replace the main seal when replacing a timing belt, even the manual I have recommends that it be done. Its a $6 part that you basically have to take all the timing equipment off to replace. It will cost almost as much to have this part replaced as to have the whole timing belt replaced. This review is totally based on the service department. I had a great experience coming here. Brought in my Mazda for its oil change. Went in without any appointment. I was totally expecting to wait awhile for it to get done. But to my surprise I was finished in about 20 minutes. And that was coming at lunch around 1 on a Thursday. Also he recommend a tire rotation. So I added it on as well. And when I went to pay. He told me it wasn't time for it yet. Very nice considering most places would just do it anyways. They definitely have my business if this experience was normal for them. read more

Odd how Rychardz M, the business manager has a set form letter to reply to negative reviews. I bought a used 2016 CX-5 from them with 20K miles for $25K, all sweetness and light until I signed papers. Then I was treated like dirt under their feet and they made it plain they wanted nothing more to do with me. To put it mildly, I got screwed on this car and there have been indications that this car was not quite what it was represented to be. Still wondering if this really was a clean title. Maybe they are different if you're buying new, but DON'T buy used! read more

I bought one of their certified used Mazdas two years ago and it's been a great car. I've also had some service done. The service has been really decently priced. I called around to several tire shops and Mazda actually had the best prices on tires. The only complaints I have is that many of the employees don't know that much about the cars they sell and they don't drive Mazdas. If you work for Mazda, you should drive one, and you should know a lot about the brand and its features. Also, service is slow. read more

I will say it right out front... DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALER IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A MAZDA!!!!! I had a downright awful experience with these guys recently. So bad in fact that I just had to find somewhere to right my first review on any business. Lets get down to business shall we? To begin with this was not the first time I gave these guys my business. My problems with them go back seven years. I bought a 2004 Mazda 6 and was royally screwed over by their sales department. A year later I decided to downsize and was looking for a Mazda 3. I went to them again thinking I would give them a second chance. It was a horrible mistake! I gave my salesman the keys to my car (for them to test drive it) and he would not give them back to me when I wanted to leave. I eventually bought my Mazda 3 from another dealer. Fast forward to 2010 when I am wanting to lease a new 2010 Mazda 3. Even though I live right down the street from d dahle I decided I didn't even want to bother with them. I went straight to Orem Mazda and had the best car purchasing experience I could ever hope for. I did however bring that car into d dahle because it was having a high pitched squeal in the driver door lock. I was told by one of the service advisors and mechanics that it was a normal sound and nothing to worry about. I didn't believe this to be the case so I took it to Orem yet again and they told me it wasn't normal and they would fix it as the car was under warranty. This kind of attitude lead me to believe their service department just didn't care about my concern and wanted to get rid of me. This now brings me to my most recent experience with this horrible dealer... The lease on my Mazda 3 was supposed to end this December so my wife and I started doing research on what we wanted to do. I was fully intending to lease another Mazda but was going to go through Orem as I trust them a whole lot more than I trust these guys. I sent a request to d dahle for an online quote and I was impressed with the kindness their internet manager (Rustin) showed me on the phone. I went in there to talk to him in person and was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to work with him (no issue with him). Everything about this car transaction was pleasant up until delivery of the car. I signed my paperwork on 6/6 and was told upon leaving that my car was on a truck from Washington and would be arriving at any moment and would be available for me to pick up by 6/8. This did not happen so I called on Monday 6/10 and was told the car was being "hot loaded" that day and would be there by mid-week. I called again on Thursday 6/13 and was told, YET AGAIN, that the car was STILL in Washington and was being "hot loaded" that day and should arrive by the weekend. On 6/15 I happened to be by the dealership so I drove through the lot just hoping that my car would be there and to my utter amazement it was there sitting in the front of the showroom waiting for me to drive it home. I was expecting them to call at any moment so I headed home to get my mazda 3. I waited three hours before I finally called them to ask if my car was there and if I could pick it up. I know it wasn't necessarily the dealer's fault that the car took so long to get there but why was I told three different dates that my car would be available? And why was I not alerted to my car finally being available to pick up? The general manager says that customer satisfaction is their number one priority but I do not believe I was their number one priority when it came to me finally being able to drive my car off the lot. He claims to strive for customer service has not been in contact with me after promising me he would 12 days ago! All that being said the car is absolutely incredible!
