They do not have much of a selection for youth boys, but they have a nice extensive selection for girls. We got a few items that were on sale such as Nike joggers with matching sweat tops and some Nike shirts. The selection of colors were extremely limited. In addition to shopping for my grand baby, I ended purchasing some new Nike workout gear for myself. They have a large selection of workout items for women. Their main attraction, however are the shoes. Their shoe department is huge and it's mainly what customers come for. The overall shopping experience was not bad. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I would suggest coming to this place early when the doors first open in order to beat the mad crowd! Especially since it's income tax season, lol!

My interaction with this store actually started days before ever stepping foot in the door. My…read moreparents are here visiting from the north and my dad was looking for a summer suit. My dad called and spoke to Jordan late last week over the phone, who was kind enough to hold some items for him. I showed up a few days later to take a look at them in store. Unfortunately Jordan was off that day, but I had the pleasure of interacting with Hailey. She was so personable, friendly and patient. She listened intently to the questions I had and offered some wonderful suggestions. By the end of my visit, I had a few more items on hold for pops to check out once he arrived to TX! Fast forward to today, my dad is finally here and we got a chance to swing by the store. Once inside, we were greeted by Ashley. She informed me that Jordan AND Hailey were off today but she was also more than happy to help. We ended up leaving with pants, a shirt, two ties and a pocket scarf! The jacket we needed was not available in this store in his size, but she located it at the Willowbrook location (which, with the exception of the associate Aaron, left MUCH to be desired) she had them hold it for us so we could go pick it up same day. Nice enough Famous Footwear storefront in Tomball Marketplace…read more I guess I haven't been to a Famous Footwear in awhile, but the inventory is about 80% athletic shoes and 20% dress--not what I remember. I've shopped Famous Footwear since the early 1980s, but it's been a few years. I wanted a new pair of dress shoes for a wedding that evening, so Air Jordan's weren't on the menu. Their selection in dress was limited, especially in wide width and sizes above 10. With assistance, I found a pair that I liked that came oh so close, but they were too long. They were also reboxed in a generic Famous Footwear box, and showed signs of break-in (but not wear). They also weren't discounted for not being brand-spanking new. The very helpful sales assistant--who seemed to be running the store by herself--offered to check other stores or order the shoes, but my time was too limited for those heroics. They're A-OK--that is, if you have the time to wait for shoes in your size. I didn't, so I went away empty-handed, but not truly disappointed.

Very poor customer service…read more It is understandable if there is inclement weather or a sickness within the limited amount of staff however when the MANAGER shows up FOUR hours late and have customers + a FedEx delivery waiting on her that's just about ridiculous. Not only did she miss the shipment but whenever she finally arrived instead of informing customers that the location was closed she brought her son into The store, lock the doors and had us outside knocking for several minutes to get her response from the inside. If you have the spare time to choose another location do so because this treatment is disgusting and a waste of time.
