I bought several items at this store. I'd say they are primarily a tee shirt and hat store but they did offer some other items as well, like stickers and bags. I thought they offered some great t-shirt designs and the quality of their shirts was much higher, in my opinion, than other t-shirts being sold on Front Street. I'm not sure if pricing was all that much higher than comparable stores nearby but I appreciate the quality t-shirts and designs this store sold. Shirt designs are very unique compared to the rest of the shops on Front St. - though beware since some of their t-shirt material are different... don't forget shrinkage factor. We tend to always go here ... but lately their token employee was just the biggest douche...we asked a question regarding sizes... he replied in an annoyed way and really... so NOT ALOHA. I love their style. Softest sweatshirts I've ever felt. Sadly, not a lot of bigger sizes. Sweatshirts ran about $70, which is certainly on the pricer size- but the designs on them are pretty cool, a 70s throw back feel. Lots of earth tones, mellow colors to choose from. The price didn't stop me from buying a sweatshirt, the options for sizing did. There is NO WAY a pullover sweatshirt xxl would fit a man. Even slim for a woman. Hands down the BEST place to buy apparel in downtown Lahaina! We visit Maui every year and I have to say that Tilly Timms is the best place to shop for apparel. All of the other stores in Lahaina seem to cary the same 'touristy' type of shirts that have no real style to them. Tilly Timms carries original designs and stylish shirts. This is a super cute store!! I was there with my family and friends. We all found things we loved. Unfortunately our entire shopping experience was ruined by the extremely rude employee that night. Maybe it was because of the 4th of July and she was jaded she was working or she just has a really bad attitude! Either way.. the owner needs to know what kind of employee she has. All 6 of us experienced this rudeness from her. We all ignored it until I went to make a purchase and her rudeness kept coming. I ended up telling her never mind I will not buy anything from her. I'm not sure why this is classified as men's clothing because it's the best Maui clothing store for men, women and kids. The quality is superb. I actually went back 3 times to get shirts. They are so soft and the designs are killer!!!! You'll drop about $30 for a t-shirt and $50 for a sweatshirt but you won't be disappointed. Every single time I come to Maui, I make sure I stop here! I have a growing collection of "my favorite hats" and they are all from here. They are the best souvenirs to bring home for friends and family because they aren't cheesy designs that people will never wear. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and the location of this store is great. I love this store for the quality of clothing and the woman that works there named Bertha. She was extremely helpful to take pictures for me of a sweatshirt I wanted and was just extremely helpful with my decision. She mailed things out to me and to my daughter and we will always reach out to her first when we need a warm jacket or sweatshirt. The quality just can't be beat against so many shirt stores that line the streets in Lahaina. More expensive, of coarse, but much higher quality too. The young girl who worked here was the rudest we had on our week long trip on the island. The shirts are nice though.

Cool shirts but I would never buy anything there due to how rude the woman was. Not sure if she was an employee or if she was the owner. I am a 35 year old man and I walked in there with my girlfriend eating the last half of my ice cream cone and she very rudely said, "We don't allow ice cream in here sir." We said nothing and walked out. You do not treat your customers like children and act like that. If she would have been more polite and something like, "I'm very sorry sir, can you please finish your ice cream before browsing?" Then I would have kindly obliged and probably went back to buy a shirt. I wouldn't recommend this store to anyone. read more

The "Aloha" spirit is not here... we walked in this store July 4th before the crowds took over Front street to grab some goodies to take home with us. We brought in a few friends who've never been before. I was so embarrassed when the young gal working told us to move out of her way. We politely obeyed her demand and then that wasn't good enough, she told my husband "I need all this space" he was taken back by her rudeness and didn't know what to do or where to go while he was waiting for us to make our purchase. The lady continued with her rudeness, my friend had a couple items that she liked and was ready to check out. The girl continued to be rude and before I know it my friend said "I changed my mind. I'm not buying anything here" the clerk took the items and started talking back to her saying "fine then, you have a great night" in a very snarky way. I can not believe the way she acted from the time we walked in and still saying things as we exited. She was angry and it showed. We will never be back to this store and as long as she is working here I would suggest not going in if you don't want to be treated like crap. read more

Ok by far and away most beautiful T's, surfwear and gifts on Lahaina. We've been to quite a few seaside surf stores. This is a step above. Cute apparel at this little joint on Front street. A lot of the places downtown seem to mesh together with similar if not the same clothing items. This store had some different items and logos. The girl at the front was very sweet, helpful and friendly contrary to what other reviewers said. There was a couple sale bins and shirts that were quite decent as well! I liked the t shirt I bought which was not cheap, but really resented that the gal wanted to charge me for a bag to put it in. No other establishment on Front Street or Whalers Village did that. This is the best tshirt shop on Maui! We make a visit here every time we are on the island, not only for shirts but hats and cute jewelry too. They always are stocked with a wide range of sizes and employees are more than helpful! We have purchased everything from infant/toddler size to 2XL, men's and women's, tanks to long sleeve tees. They have some great looking t-shirts, but they are the MOST expensive we ran across and the sizes are all wrong. I bought a large, fit more like a small. Traded it in for a x-large, fit more like a medium. Cost me $30 bucks. Gave it to my wife though and it fit her just fine. Go figure. read more

Super disappointed with the level of service at this store. Walked in this afternoon and Cathia was less than friendly. Eye rolling and probably the worst customer service I've experienced. No hellos no thanks yous... Nothing and it was completely unwarranted. Having owned a successful boutique in the states, as the owner that's not what I would have wanted my customers to feel like especially when they are on vacation and have money to spend. My sons wanted two batman shirts and I reluctantly made the purchase but will be looking for them elsewhere and will return if I need too. Saw a bunch of adorable clothes that I would have purchased for myself but just couldn't give anymore business to a woman who barely said hello, rolled her eyes at my well behaved children and just was less than friending.
