It was a winter installation. By summer, the boards he had installed were warping with the humidity. Once winter returned, the dry air would bring the boards back nearly to their original fit. After seeing this pattern over 2 years, I brought Mr. Case out to see if he could correct the problem. He came out, looked at the warped boards, said he'd get back to me but never did. It seems that he doesn't want to repair his own faulty work. I've called and left message but had no return phone calls. Buyer beware. It must be the wood he used wasn't properly seasoned or dried, or that it wasn't cut and installed with enough tolerance for subtle changes in Rochester humidity. In either case, it's disappointing when a craftsman won't stand behind his work.

Unsecured counter tops, they talked us into laminate flooring because it would be durable & low maintenance. Not the case at all. The laminate was not only cut short along the corners but was not installed securely to where water was able to get under & cause damage. I had brand new cabinets put in that is now covered in mold & a new sub floor soaking wet & riddled with mold because at the time of installing everything they shoved they incompetently shoved the dishwasher in, secured it with screws (which means it has not been moved or touched since) which created a crack in the hose & has been leaking ever since. $12,000 & two years later I am back to where I started having to replace the flooring & possibly cabinets due to mold & this company will not be ever considered to do that work let alone any work. The worst part is, the main guy who is in charge or managing the job was a long term friend of my family & he totally scammed & took advantage of us going to him for help. Needless to say I am beyond unimpressed & heart broken that at this time I am reliving this nightmare in my home all over again. Lesson learned. We loved the results so much that we contacted Carpet Source Flooring again for a much larger job: wood-look luxury vinyl in our Living Room, Kitchen, Bathroom, hallways, and 2 Bedrooms. I always called the showroom before visiting because I know the owner is often out checking on jobs in progress, and had no problem finding times we were both available to meet. I was encouraged to take samples home to see how they looked in our house, (not just chosen from a book or a website.) Some products had websites that would help you view the product in each room. In this post-Covid era, waiting for materials to be delivered is a little challenging, but when the materials arrived, the company worked with us to schedule installation when it was best for us. The crew was amazing. Great communication at all times. They worked hard not to inconvenience us even with such a large job to tackle. They were patient with my questions, and helpful in every way. They kept work areas clean and organized. The best thing about the company is their quality workmanship.
