After being scammed and ripped off by my original contractor, I was losing hope that my house would be done before I took our planned family vacation to Florida soon. There was 2 weeks to get this done. I was left with a house with unfinished projects that needed a full bathroom upgrade, tiled baths upstairs and a complete laminate flooring of my entire two story house - I was in desperate need of a better, honest and reliable contractor as I was running out of time - and money.... In came my new contractor who took over my house upgrade - Mr. Daniel Valdez a contractor of Tile and Stone Force. I put my 100% trust in him to complete the projects in a timely manner. His rate was readonable and affordable. He did not disappoint me as he was able to meet all my expectations at completion. I noticed a big difference in work - they work fast but very careful and clean. Daniel showed the great professionalism and showed alot of dedication to his work in ONLY 2 weeks he worked on completion on my house. 2 weeks was all he needed to finish the job. His work is well done, ORGANIZED and ALWAYS has his workers clean up after a days work (my original contractor was messy and disorganized and left my house a total mess!)....I also am currently on vacation - stress free thanks to Daniel and his crew. Daniel will also approach you FIRST before doing any type of work that may need the house owner's approval. He will never assume things without your knowledge - he will always keep the homeowner updated as needed which I like (i.e. tile style, kitchen upgrade suggestions/recommendations, etc). If you need a reliable and trustworthy contractor, please ask for Daniel and no one else. You will get guaranteed work from his crew that will leave you satisfied. I cannot tell you how pleased I am with his work on our house. 5 star work across the board! Look for Daniel of Tile and Stone Force. You wont be disappointed. Take my word for it. Andy A. read more

Be aware, this place was the worst experience i ever had in my life. Ive bought tile before, so it wasnt my first time or anything like that. The guy Gil, he has been working at this place for a good 20 years. He was very nice at first when the sales went down, obviously because he's a sales guy. When it came to actually picking up the tile i ordered, i was deceived, tricked, bamboozled, or whatever you want to call it. Please see the pictures uploaded. This is a classic "what i wanted vs what i actually received". What was on display is COMPLETELY different than the item we received. Gil and all the other employees were no help when I complained. When i first noticed, i went back as soon as possible and Gil was not there that day. His own coworkers told me this was not the first time a customer has experienced something like this and came back complaining about Gil lying or tricking customers (seems like they were sick of cleaning up Gil's messes). By the way, Gil told me he was the owner the first day I was there (probably so he can try to sell me more), so i thought he can help make things right. However, he lied about that too!! Turns out he is only the manager who didnt have much authority to even help out. I very much had a right to be angry and when i said i wanted to return it, they said theres a 25% restocking fee and kept pushing me to take store credit even though i bought everything i needed the first day i came here. Why would i want store credit when my remodel was pretty much complete? I ended up keeping the tile because my time was of the essence and i couldnt waste time returning it and buying from somewhere else. ALSO NOTE, I pretty much had to force them to take down the deceitful display tile because I didnt want anyone else to fall victim to their scam like I did. I will warn anyone and everyone about this place because it really was such a frustrating experience that I wouldn't wish on anyone. If i could give 0 stars, I would. Do not come here! read more

Great Customer Service ...Stop by before you go anywhere else or after you visit all other place so you can compare for yourself. prices here are way lower then their competitors by A LOT and floors are better quality. You will find great variety/selection of floors available, they will deliver for a very reasonable price compared to other places ($40-200$)... And they will accept returns for unused material including floor tile and other supplies as long as it is unopened . Simply make sure to ask before you purchase your floor and material (basic question you all should ask before buying) ... I was hesitant to stop by due to other yelp reviews but I am happy I stopped by and will not go elsewhere anymore. I choose to buy my awesome floor from here because of they had what I wanted at a reasonable prices and return guarantee. Other places will try and tell you its special order on almost everything so that its a final sale. Not here. Juan is very helpful and will give you floor tips if needed, he is honest and professional and so is the rest of the staff"". Ask for Juan and let him know I recommended you :) ... Thank you Juan , Gilbert and Gilberto . read more

I purchased Italian tile. This tule was on the showroom floor. I ordered 1 extra case to ensure I had enough tile. When I tried to return it, I was told no. Even though it was unopened and full. I should have read the reviews first. read more

After scouring all of Orange County, San Diego, and online (we ordered lots of samples from places like buildirect.com), I don't think you can find tile more reasonably priced than this. We are in the middle of remodeling our deck and were shopping for tile when my husband found this place. They have a large selection of tile, stone, mosaics and so much more. Ours ended up costing around $2.50 sq. ft, a total of around $1,000. Unfortunately, our workers did a horrible job laying out the tile and we had to pop them all back up again. My husband called and explained to them what happened, and they were nice enough to give us a good deal when we had to re-order the tile. The customer service is excellent and they really care about you and your experience. I highly recommend this place and it's definitely worth checking out! read more

My husband and I just left this business. Went in to inquire about a complete kitchen renovation. Walked around the store for at least 15 minutes. No one asked if we needed help. Even tried approaching the guy at the counter. He quickly glanced at me, but completely ignored us. I guess my money isn't good here. You just lost a potential customer and a 5 figure job! read more

Walked in yesterday. looking for non-adhesive vinyl square tile. There was a guy at the desk, texting. To the said there was a football game on the TV set. I stood there for a minute. Now, a minute isn't long at all, but when you're the only customer there and the sales guy is just sitting, well, a minute IS long. I inquired about the tile. He got up saying the only tile we have is the plank over in the corner. He went over to point out where it was. That wasn't what I was looking for so I said "Can you help me out, man? Where can I find it? I'm having a hard time finding it." He just smiled and walked away, tending to his phone!!! If this guy is a sales person, I hope he gets fired. If this guy is the owner/manager, I hope he goes broke. Unbelievable. read more

Rudy at Tile Force is super helpful and friendly. We went to Tile Force with a good idea of the material were looking for which was a light colored wood look tile in a wide plank. At other places the tile was double the price! He hooked us up with tile-installer Eleno who was very well priced and very fast worker for the 1650 sq/ft we had done. We are very happy with the overall materials and installation. We will use them again when we decide to redo our master bath. read more

Bought over 3k in materials for 2 restrooms and a kitchen. Had a box of tile to return because you should always buy a bit extra for cuts. Went to return tile which was roughly $40 dollars worth. Was sent to warehouse to return to no avail. They told me to come back later because it was special order and only the person that sold it to me could authorize. The warehouse operator even called the store and told them to check because he knows I have bought there various times. I informed the warehouse operator I had one of the store guys give me a 3k quote for vinyl flooring a couple of days back which I was going to buy. They don't care. Never got a call back. I will not be back. read more

I was wondering why Tile Force reviews were so poor. They installed my tile about 15 yrs ago and over all did a good job. Found out quick! Doing a complete remodel on our home and found some wood like porcelain tile I really liked. Their internet site said call for price. So I spoke to this guy and he couldn't find the tile. So I said it has a sku# maybe you can find it if I gave that number. He says what's that...then he goes on to say I don't now why the company keeps putting products in the internet that we don't carried. I don't normally post this stuff but I was little annoyed the fact that I had to call for a price and then they wasn't my time. Lost business! read more

I was remodeling the Kitchen in my house. I needed some Tile for the Kitchen's backsplash. I was looking for some Travertine or Porcelain tiles. I checked out several Tile stores on Main Street. I found Tile Force to be one of the cheapest, and having one of the better selections. Tile Force carries Ceramic Tile, Porcelain, Stone Travertine, and a couple of Exotic Stones from Italy and Brazil. 2 stars because they beat the prices of the flooring places down the street and the order came in on time... This was about one month ago.. BUT the overall customer service experience sucked... Sales guy was extremely pushy trying to get me to have their guys install the flooring... And then seemed insulted when I didn't want installation.. I asked simply if they carried base boards and the sales guy made it sound like my installer didn't know what he was doing if I had to buy base boards... I finally had to tell him my uncle was installing the floors and it was a simple question... I asked another simple question: do they deliver flooring??? I received another sarcastic remark that usually an installer will pick up and deliver! Again I had to relay the message that my uncle was doing ME the favor on the weekends so I was just asking! He then said he would deliver but he was going to charge me... I just said I would have a friend pick it up ... If he would have told me that in the first place instead of making a sarcastic remark, I might have paid him to deliver the flooring... Today I walked in and the only sales guy took care of everyone else in the store since he already knew I wanted to order an extra Tmolding.... Then he said he was going to charge me more in shipping fees than the part... he said he would charge me the fed ex fee which was more than the damn part... I just walked out at this point... These guys have no sense of customer service... It's a simple cost of doing business to keep a customer happy... I wanted to come back to get granite countertops but not anymore! read more

selection: yes. customer service: no. The moment I walked in, I was looking for a specific white tile. The guy saw me walk in, didn't immediately ask me if I needed help, no biggie. So I continued to look for what I needed. When I was finally asked and told the guy that I needed a white tile, he showed me one tile, which was matte. The matte finish wasn't what I needed so I asked if they had anymore white tile. He said that was it, sat down, and continued to watch football! Sure enough, I continued to search through the shop and found what I needed... by myself! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I did purchase what I needed... a small order of tile, but in the future, for a few more bucks, I would go somewhere else with better customer service. read more

I got material from here when we remodeled our bathroom in 2018 so I decided to give it a second shot for our guest room. The employee was alone which we completely understood. We waited 30mins for help and when another gentleman came in to help out, he was sent to another couple who had JUST walked in. We then proceeded to ask for help, he didn't bother to apologize for the misunderstanding or even say "someone will be right with you" instead he said "I'm busy" and didn't even look up at us. read more

Where do I start?? I had an awesome experience with them and was also referred to a great contractor named Daniel Valdez. He and his crew did the flooring (tile and laminate) for my whole house. This includes stairs as well. They did all I asked, the work was amazing and clean, the staff was fast and friendly, they fixed everything they could, and did extra at no cost just to make things right. Daniel also was very understanding of my needs and although he had his own family medical emergencies, he totally performed and got the job done and patiently answered my questions and fixed every problem I had addressed. Now for Rudy from Tile and Stoneforce...awesome awesome service! While my kids were screaming and going crazy he helped me with them and helped me choose the perfect tile and laminate. I walked in there with one in mind already and he suggested something else because I did not know that gray can show tones of blues, greens etc etc. thank goodness for his suggestion because the one I chose had a green tint to it that I would have hated in my house! Now the flooring is done and it looks amazing! Thank you guys so much! read more

Horrible customer service and high pricing. Needed 2 12x12 pieces of white carrera marble. Sales clerk said he had one 12x24 piece and was going to charge me $21 for it "because it's basically 2 pcs". You get what you pay for here. Low prices but no guarantees. They don't take back any extra product even if it was quantities, Rudy, the owner recommended. I was not happy about this. I appreciate the honesty of the owner here. I walked in and he asked me if there is anything he can help me with. Purchased 5 boxes of tile. Got home and attempted to get a general idea of the layout I realized the pattern didnt match up. Brought the tile back and was told I needed to wait for Rudy the sales executive because he would be back in 5 min. Well 30 min later Rudy comes in and says that we cant return the tile on weekends and we need to bring them back on Monday between 7am to 3pm. ( the time when a normal person is working.) When i tried to explain that I couldn't because of work he rudely lectured me on how I should have called before I came over and also how he was helping me out but I needed to help myself too. REALLY!!! Seems this jackass has all the answers because his buddy who sat there while we waited said nothing about not returning tile on the weekends. This place is a joke. ***Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else***. Btw no returns on special orders but get this...they dont carry anything in the store so basically everything is special order. In my opinion, these guys are the rudest people I have dealt with in the tile business and very unprofessional. They forgot to place my order pushing back my remodel over a week. I purchased travertine additional material from Rudy for a bathroom remodel. He assure me I was getting a grate price for the materials and the lowest he could sell them. The same day I see the same materials at Lowes for one third less. I bought samples from Lowes and took the samples and receipt to Tile and Stone Force to get a price adjustment. No price adjustment. No custumer service. No ethics. What a nightmare, their return policy has a 25% restoking fee and they hide behind it.. What happens if you have extra material? You are stuck with it or you lose 25%. What a rip off!! Their material on display do not have a price marked. You have to wheel and deal and hope you are not taken. Be aware of the lip service and the justifications for taking you for a ride. read more

Gilbert helped us, and that is who I am recommending for this review. We went to the shop and needed a special order placed right away. The other guy that was there said no way, but Gilbert stepped in and said he thought it could be done. He took our order, called the driver that was coming down the next day, and asked him if he had any room left on his truck. He had barely enough room to get our full order on his truck. It was delivered next day. Their shop has a very large selection, but not alot in stock. If you can wait between 2 to 4 days for them to ship it down, they will beat most stores on their pricing. read more

DO NOT patronize this place. I purchased a shluter strip $21.00 . When I purchased the item explained it was for tile floor going into my garage. This wasn't the exact product I needed, which the salesman knew, but I purchased it just in case I couldn't find the reducer I actually needed. I did end up finding the proper reducer at Home Depot. About 2 hours later I returned to return this item which was never even unloaded from my car. The salesman saw me coming and proceeded to ignore me for the first minute. When I politely told him I found the proper reducer and would need to return this item he proceeded to lecture me about how he hated to return items because they "cost him money". I didn't respond and quietly sat at the counter for the next 12 MINUTES where he proceeded to type up an invoice on his computer for this return. Eventually he pulled $16 out of his pocket, hands it to me and gives me a receipt for my return minus a $5 restocking fee! Ridiculous and rude. All over a small return that he simply put right back on the floor when I left. If this is how they handle a minor sale for a small fee I would not like to see how they handle your large important purchase. Passive aggressive and rude. read more

DO NOT PURCHASE YOUR MATERIAL FROM THIS PLACE AND DO NOT USE THEIR INSTALLERS THAT THEY REFER YOU TO!!!! THEY HAVE THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! I RARELY LEAVE REVIEWS, BUT I HAVE HAD SUCH A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH THEM. Rudy was the main person we dealt with and he was really rude to us when we first came in and pretty much ignored us. He finally started talking to us when he realized we were serious buyers and made the purchase. We purchased all our material there, including the travertine tile, laminate flooring, bullnose molding, t moulding, mortar.... EVERYTHING! Anyway, we had put in 2 different orders for the t moulding because we ran out of it. The first order came in, and it matched the bullnose molding. Both were a slightly lighter color than the laminate flooring, but didn't mind the contrast. Then, when the 2nd order came in, it was a completely different color! They would not allow us to return it, even though it was their mistake!!!! We spent thousands of dollars there, so I would've at least expected them to allow us to return it. Also, if you do decide to go there, PLEASE PLEASE do not use the installers they refer you to!!! I made a huge mistake by using someone they referred us to, Daniel, who was actually sitting in the store at the time we purchased the material. I think he sits in the store to bait his customers. I say this because we spoke to someone that used him, and that's exactly how they met him too. Daniel was very responsive in the beginning when he tried getting our business, answered our phone calls, responded to text messages. Then when the job started, he hardly ever responded to us. He subcontracted his work out to someone else, and Daniel only came around when it came time to collect money! He didn't even do a final walk through! We changed the flooring on our staircase, and didn't even paint the side walls! There was liquid nail left on some of the laminate flooring, and we had A LOT of material left over! Also, he picked up the 2nd t moulding order for us and didn't even contact us for a week, even after we texted him and called him and left messages. Overall, I've had a HORRIBLE experience with both Stone and Tile Force and Daniel. I would've rather had spent a few hundred dollars more to receive great customer service. read more
