The lady heard me and told me the first tan was free, and then showed me that I can sign up for texts and get another free tan. There was no mention of memberships or pricing or anything. I signed my little waiver and within 5 minutes got into a bed. She also gave me her recommendations, as I burn super easily, and I actually didn't come out burnt! It was super clean and I really liked the vibe of the room! Solely because of this treatment, I'll never go to another tanning salon, and I'm more than happy to come back often and pay full price! I completely understand that businesses need to make money and a profit, but this marketing is better than just handing someone a list of prices and trying to convince them to choose the most expensive one. After trying them a few times I decided to buy the kind in the pic. I've had facial palsy for two years I found it very uncomfortable to remove the sticker from my affected side. Got in to tan and used them one time. I took them off after my tan and they literally fell into pieces and even the center of them was cracked. I didn't drop them, throw them, sit on them etc. I politely asked after my tan to exchange them. I was told she couldn't but a note would be placed on my account to exchange them the next time. Next time...I planned to buy lotion today and continue tanning and the friendly associate was on the phone with someone and when I said there should be a note on my account she asked the person on the phone if she could assist me with my broken eyewear and she was told no. Clearly they don't trust their customers not to try to cheat them out of 6$ broken glasses. They also don't trust their employees to handle simple decisions like replacing eyewear bought 10 mins before they broke. I wanted to cancel and get my money back vs continuing to tan but if you think that's how it works, wrong! If they care so much about eyewear that honestly costs .50 to buy they definitely aren't giving back unused tanning $$. It's the point of bad service, not the price at all!!!!!! I'm truly just amazed and saddened because I know this will mean nothing to them.

With a month of tanning for only $26.00, you'll be glad you chose Ray's Campus Salon instead of Sun Tan City, which costs $30 just for one tan. This place is always clean and the employees friendly. Ray, the owner of the business, is a very sweet man. The salon employees are all very kind, appreciative, and helpful. They make you feel like a welcomed customer and ask you how your day is going. I have noticed that Ray, in particular, keeps up-to-date with his customers' lives. They are very knowledgeable of their products, and if you are unhappy with something, they will make sure you leave with a smile on your face. The cost to tan is not bad at all. Plus they accept Jagtags, so you can pay that way if you want. They only complaint I have is their reduced hours on the weekends. They are not open on Saturday's or Sunday's. Ray may come in random Saturday mornings, but it is unexpected. Also, they close at 5:00. This can be difficult for me to find a time to tan when I am working in the morning and going to classes in the afternoons. If this is not a problem for you, I suggest you check out Ray's Campus Salon.

Don't get a manicure here. My "no chip gel manicure" was done with normal nail polish and gel top…read morecoat...red flag number one. The polish was not painted up to my cuticles... AKA it looked like the manicure was already 1-2 weeks grown out...red flag number 2. I left the salon with a thumb nail that had a smudge...red flag number 3. A few hours later one of the nails peeled off by itself. The next day I was able to literally peel the entire manicure off with my fingers. Normally, gel polish needs to be soaked in acetone. I paid $35+$5 tip (I felt obligated) and asked for a refund later that evening and was only refunded $20. Just go somewhere else for nails. The fact they can't even admit their mistake is unbelievable.

This evening at 9:30 PM, two younger girls were working and before I even entered the facility I could see thru the glass storefront they were highly displeased to see a customer coming in. Their facial expression and body language were offensive but I was still kind and greeted them warmly. While I understand they close at 10 PM, a spray tan takes less than 10 minutes. When I checked at the counter the receptionist let me know they close at 10 PM and the spray tans stop at 9:40. By this time it was 9:33. I did joking make a comment about 9:40 being in 7 minutes and pleaded that I drove 20 minutes & have an event tomorrow. After being turned away I promptly checked the website and FB page...there was NO mention of last tan needing to be by a certain time. Once to my car at 9:35 I located and crafted an email post marked by 9:40 so leadership could have proof of timing. Very disappointed as I drove 20 minutes each way...(from Cicero) because I had really likes this salon. Their service and quality of tan had been great. Very disappointed at their customer service and in general, they way they treated me before I even made it into the building... UPDATE: The General Manager reached out and made the situation right. And then they continue to charge my credit card for more than two years. $88 a month coming up to a grand total of $2288. When I called them, they refused to give me a refund. When my husband, who is a criminal defense attorney, called them, they finally agreed to give me half of my money back. That's right, half. $1144. They stole the same amount for me. They also gave me some Gift cards that I would rather light my self on fire than use, because I will never ever patron and establishment that steals. These people steal. They're thieves.
